Jamie walked back to his room and put down his books on his table, He turned around and looked toward his door.
With his sense he found out that he was followed all the way here by one of his classmates.
"Hmph, they're obviously amateurs" Jamie snorted at their obvious displays.
"Now then, what should I do to pass the time. Should I just use [STEALTH] and move back to the classroom."
"Nah, I should just take a look around the academy. heh, who knows what kind of things I'll find around this place."
Since Jamie can't go back to the class right away. He decided to spend his time walking around the academy until the right time to see what kind of a trap they have been laying for him.
"He just went back to his room? Are you sure?" Trevor asked from the boy that came back after following Jamie.
"Yeah, he just went inside his room. He didn't come out." The boy replied.
"Good.Good. It's our lucky day. Heh, seems like that bastard's luck has run out. It's time for our luck" Trevor was excited since his plan didn't get found out.
"What are we going to do now" Elijah, one of Trevors friend asked.
"We are going to continue. We can't let Jamie and Kyla speak to each other or else our plan will fail. We'll keep Jamie out of the classroom for today, We can't fail. If we do.... I don't know what kind of consequences we'll have to face from the seniors." Trevor spoke up.
"Why are you so scared of them. Just like you they're also just heirs of Duke families. There's no need for you to be scared of them. you're in the same position as them" Elijah said, irritated at how Trevor always mentioned about the senior mages.
"You don't understand Elijah, you have no idea what they're capable of inside the academy. They can get rid of me even though I come from a Duke family much less you lot of idiots."
"Srength is what matters Elijah, I have more brothers and sisters that father care much more about. Do you think my father will go to war with they're families Just for my death." Trevor looked at Elijah, making goosbumps appear all around his body.
"They have alliances,While we have nothing. You don't know how the upper echelon works you fool. It's much more complex than it looks from the outside to the others. I'm not the one at most danger here, they wouldn't kill me just because they want to. But you lot are different, They can just kill you for fun." Trevor finished his words silencing Elijah.
"We'll do what you say." Elijah and the others nodded their heads with nervous looks on their faces.
"You better, or we're all fucked." Trevor said looking at Kyla who's now speaking with other girls unlike when Jamie was at the classroom.
It didn't take long for professor Luna to arrive at the classroom.
Even though she's much more older than she looks, the boys couldn't take their eyes away from her body.
Her voluptuous figure draws too much attention. She looks no older than Esmeralda, Her hair is like a silk white robe, Fluttering slightly as she walks. Her black eyes and the sharp brows makes anyone feel like they're heart is being pierced. With that curvy figure and that perfectly beautiful face, she looks nothing more than a goddess even for the girls.
"Silence!" Professor Luna spoke, raising her voice slightly making the classroom quiet.
She looked around inspecting everyone in the classroom.
'Jamie isn't here' she furrowed her brows thinking why Jamie is not present today.
'Is he not that much of a diligent mage as I thought him to be?' she thought back to the overly handsome mage who listened well in her class and always got the answers correct to every question she asked from him.
'I did pay him special attention because he's unique and seemed diligent at first.' Luna thought.
'Maybe something happenned today. Let's not come to a conclusion this quickly.' she put aside the thoughts for now.
"Alright, quickly turn page number..."
As the class began, Jamie used his stealth to walk far from the dormitory and he began to roam the academy to somehow pass the time quickly.
'Professor Luna should've started the class already I guess.'
'Damn, I should find a way to get close to her somehow' Jamie's head was filled with many thoughts as he roamed around.
'Hmm' as he walked around, he neared the faculty of professors.
The thing that surprised him was an area restricted by a barrier, an area that cannot be seen by the naked eye. If he didn't have his [SENSE] even he wouldn't have picked it up. even with his sense, he barely found a small space beyong the wall.
'There's a place behind the faculty. They made a barrier to prevent it from being seen.' He widened his eyes in surprise.
'Is it a restricted place?' Jamie's eyes brightened up as he imagined what kind of a secret might be hidden behind the barrier.
'But how do I get past the barrier?' Jamie did have the stealth skill activated but if he went through that barrier he would definitely get exposed.
'What should I do?' he really didn't have any means to get past the barrier without getting exposed.
'System do you have a way to get past this barrier?' In the end his only option was hoping that the system would have some kind of a way to do this.
"YES HOST" system replied.
'I knew it!!, you really don't disappoint me hahaha.' Jamie knew that the system always had tricks up its sleeves.
'I really wonder who made you' He thought to himself.
'I'll know about it in the future i guess.'
'So, tell me. How do i get past this barrier?' he asked in anticipation.
"HOST SHOULD BUY THE SUITABLE ABILITY FOR THIS OCCASION"
"[PHASE]" the system announced making Jamie gasp.
'PHASE huh?, what can it do'
[PHASE - 20 000 000 SP] (Grants the user the ability to bypass through any barrier created below the Emperor Realm.)
"Emperor Realm huh?" Jamie widened his eyes in shock.
"Well I guess it's does deserve to be sold at twenty miliion SP" He was amazed at how powerful the skill is, that basically lets him bypass any barriers within the academy.
"I don't think the Headmistress is an Emperor Mage. So I don't have to worry too much. If there are more barriers inside the academy, they all must've been created by her."
"System, Buy this ability." Jamie decided to buy this quickly.
"DONE HOST." Sytem voiced inside his head.
'Activate [PHASE].' Jamie activated the ability.
Jamie felt a wierd sensation running through his body, he closed his eyes to feel this tingling sensation and when he opened his eyes he was surprised.
Jamie's body appears to have become somewhat ethereal, When he use the [STEALTH] his body totally disappears.
But now his body feels light and weird, he couldn't quite put it into words, but the only word that comes into his mind is ethereal.
"This really is weird. I have no idea how many of these abilities this system might posses." It was an exhilarating feeling, being ethereal.
"Alright let's check this out." He said to himself before walking toward the end of the building and stood infront of the massive wall that marks the end of the territory of the academy.
"Phew" he breathed out softly and calmed his beating heartbeat slightly.
He took a step forward and realised that his foot went inside the wall and he felt his foot land on the ground, on the other side.
'Heh' a small smirk crept onto his face as he continued.
Jamie walked toward the wall and completely went through it arriving at the other side, He bypassed the barrier easily without much trouble.
'This really feels good, Breaking powerful people's magic. Heh.' He laughed to himself in excitement as he realised that he somehow bypassed an barrier made by someone no weaker than his grandparents.
An expert realm mage could probably kill Jamie just by releasing a miniscule amount of pressure to blast him apart into pieces.
'What is this place?' Jamie saw the surrounding of the other side of the wall.
He was startled for a while because he didn't expect to see a scenery like this.
The place he arrived at is a beautiful garden filled with many trees, flower trees to be exact.
The same flowers Jamie and Alanna saw together when they met at the banquet.
The rose flower petals were floating throughout the garden slowly due to the wind.
Jamie was lost in the beauty, because this place was far more beautiful than any of the gardens in the academy he's seen.
He didn't even realise that there's a breathtakingly beautiful woman a bit further away from him, sitting on a bench.
From how she's looking at Jamie widening her eyes, she seemts to be in shock at Jamie's presence.
Jamie snapped out from his thoughts quickly as he realised there's a gaze locked onto him, That presence feels no different from his grandparents.
He saw a goddess like beauty sitting on a bench looking at him with surprise etched on to her face.
'Who's she?' he thought in nervous.
He never thought his stealth would be unable to hide his presence from anyone.
'She's atleast strong enough to be on par with my grandparents.'
'There's only one person in the academy who's powerful enough to give me the same feeling as my grandparents.'
'The Headmistress' His heart started beating faster because he never thought of the possibility of meeting the mysterious Headmistress of the academy this quickly.
'I shouldn't have become so excited to check what's behind the barrier, Now.... what am I going to do?' His mind started racing as he thought of many ways to get out of this situation without any trouble.
"This is unexpected, Who are you and How did you get here?" It didn't take long for the woman to speak to him.
'Fuck!!' jamie braced himseld for whatever happens next.
