[Leonard]
We finished dinner some hours later, and made our way out with Nicole in front, and I closely behind her. It was dark, although not dark enough as I could make out figures, even though not clearly.
The date was perfect, and hopefully a kickstarter for more dates. We had easily conversed although Nicole did more of the talking while I listened with rapt attention.
From all she said, I knew she was scared of many things. Scared of the day of delivery which was drawing nearer with each passing day, scared of having her reputation sabotaged a second time, scared of facing the real world after the whole pregnancy ends, scared of being a mother, scared of the society's attitude towards her unborn child. Although she didn't mention any of these directly, I had inferred them from her statements.
