I felt sorry to learn that Nicole had some insecurities about the changes in her body due to the pregnancy. But not sorry enough to consider calling off the date, which to me is a dream come true.
The dress I had picked out for her was perfect. Of course it showed the baby bump but who cares! She's pregnant after all. When she pulled her hand away from my hold, I feared she had changed her mind but she had only wanted to apply some make-up on her already beautiful face which was both relieving and exciting.
We left after what seemed like an eternity, and I was super relieved that she hadn't mentioned anything about running into celebrity chasers which would have been a valid reason to call off the date.
I stepped into the car after Nicole, and Jeff zoomed off, even though he had no idea where we were going. I too had no idea, I hadn't thought about making a reservation. Have I ever?
I brought out my phone, and dialed idris' number. He answered on the second ring.
