"Alright Rishi! Here's what you're going to do..." Karan taps Rishi on the back and says "Siya will show up to the bonfire in just a few minutes, we'll make sure you and her sit together and then, you'll ask her out for a walk, you'll go for a walk and then you'll confess to her."
"Confess what exactly?" Rishi's eyes narrowed, his arms crossed "I told you multiple times that it is not like that!"
"Alright Listen!" Rishi felt another tap on his back. Sonali appeared from behind him. She smiled at him and said "We all have seen how you look at her. Obviously, you like her, so why not just take the risk?"
Rishi sighed "She and I have been best friends since we were 5, there is no way I am risking that."
Karan and Sonali burst into laughter. Sonali asks "So you admit that you like her?"
Rishi's eyes widen "That is not what I said."
"But that is what you meant." Karan said
Rishi looks at him angrily with narrow eyes.
*********
He sighs, sitting on the bed, looking at the photos on the screen. Every time he unlocks a new memory, his blood eye glows, causing more activity inside his neural system.
He slowly puts the phone aside and gets back up.
Manav grunts, trying desperately to move his hands which are held by strong chains. Rayan enters the chamber with a smirk "Don't tire yourself! They are enhanced, you will only end up exhausting yourself to death if you keep trying to break them."
Manav sneers at him "What did you do to Rishi?"
Rayan smirks "I just reminded him of his place in this world. His friends, his loved ones, I did him a favor."
Manav shouts "You son of a b-"
Rayan laughs "Not my fault that you used such a weak spell. This was to be expected."
The phone rings, Rayan pulls it out of his pocket and answers it "Agastya! What took you so long?"
Manav's eyes widen at the mention of that name "Wait! How do you know that name?"
Rayan ignores him "Yes Yes! Yeah sorry about that. See I don't have your target in the flesh but I have something you will accept so gladly you might even reward me. I have the blood eye, Achyut's blood eye. Yes, It's true!"
Rayan chuckles "I'm glad you like my gift." He hangs up and puts the phone back in his pocket.
Manav shouts at him "How do you know Agastya?"
Rayan scoffs "Everyone knows The Anomaly!"
Manav's eyes narrow, he looks confused "Agastya is The Anomaly?"
Rayan smiles "Yeah, I mean... not everyone knows The Anomaly's true identity. Aditya, Adyant did, I know and Aaryan knows!"
Manav's eyes widen "Aaryan knows???"
Rayan chuckles "Yes, he does! Aaryan has always known that Agastya is The Anomaly. But.... how do you know Agastya if you don't know him as The Anomaly?"
Manav looks enraged, he doesn't say a word. Rayan leans in, scans the look on his face. He smiles and speaks "Well, it's irrelevant. I'll go ask Agastya himself!"
Rishi exits the room, walks through the hallway. His walk was aggressive, confident.
Two black guards stop him. He looks at them directly and asks "Where is your leader?"
They look at each other and shake their heads. Rishi pushes his hand through the chest of one and pulls his heart out. The other tries to attack, Rishi grabs his head, slams it into the wall, again and again and again.
The image was very clear in his mind.
Siya smiled at him, the beautiful girl looked so alive and elegant. He wanted to smile back, to show how much she meant to him, but vulnerability was not something he was used to.
Rishi shouted as he killed those two guards. Hearing the noise, more guards showed up there. He stood in the hallway, faced with at least 25 guards. He growled, like a beast unleashed "Take me to your leader, or I kill all of you here!"
The guards look among each other, no one says a words. Rishi's eyes start glowing crimson red, small glowing vapors were seen rising from his eyes, the energy flow was overloading. He reached them instantly, grabbing the arm of one and twisting it, causing him to scream. The others attacked him, some of them pulled out Katanas.
Rishi grabbed one of the Katanas by the blade and easily pulled it out of the guard's hand.
All of them flinched and stepped back. Rishi looked at the Katana. The blade looked smooth, shiny and strong, enhanced to be unbreakable. Rishi gently held the handle and wielded the Katana. He looked at the guards, his expression was utterly serious. His eyes glowed bright. Instead of a normal aura, there were vapors of red energy rising from his body along with the bright aura.
"He... He is overloading!" One of the guards said.
"Kill him!" Another one said.
Rishi's eyes narrowed. He charged at them, going slicing through. They were getting sliced to death, all of them. One of them jumped up, raising his sword, Rishi turned around, drove the sword through his neck in less than a second. Another one came from behind and stabbed Rishi through the chest, just missing the heart. Rishi grabbed the sword from the front and shattered it with hit grip. Turning around he grabbed the guard's head and drove the Katana through his skull.
Other two managed to slice Rishi across the torso and the back. Rishi grunted in pain, but the rage was too much. He turned pushed his hand through the chest of one, grabbed his heart, placed the sword on his neck, sliced his neck, and pulled out his heart simultaneously.
One by one, all of them fell. Rishi stood there alone, panting. His shirt was all torn, his torso and face were covered in blood, both his and his victims'. His eyes widened as he looked at the havoc he just unleashed, that image reminded him of something. The massacre he saw in the vision, killing women, children, elderly, his heart was heavy. He did not feel anything while killing all these guards but now he was wondering. Was it him? Was that truly his own memory? Did he really kill so many innocents in the past?
