"Wait wait wait! Please, don't kill me Agastya! Please don't! I'm begging you!" Rayan's voice was filled with desperation.
Agastya scoffed at him "I was expecting one last trick, or at least a dramatic final line. But you? You went straight to whimpering. Disappointing."
Rayan's eyes were filled with tears of fear that was surrounding him in that moment. He was on his knees, multiple of his bones broken and his energy depleted. Agastya stood in front of him, totally fine, unaffected, barely even broke a sweat.
Agastya smirked "I hope you know the irony of begging for your life from the man your cult calls 'The Devourer of Mercy.' I almost feel bad. Almost. But then I remember the part where you fed orphans to a pit you called 'divine.'"
His chuckle was filled with amusement when he stepped closer to Rayan. Rayan dragged himself back, to keep the distance, his voice got quicker and more desperate "No No No no no please, please I'm begging you Agastya I will do anything you tell me to. ANYTHING!"
Agastya stopped, his eyes narrowed. He gently scratched his chin and spoke "Hmm! I guess even the lowest of pigs can be useful in smelling out the most disgusting filth or all time!"
Agastya smirked menacingly and instantly reached Rayan. Rayan flinched, almost seeing death. Agastya kneeled down and asked "So tell me, Mr. Prophet! Where is that filth?"
Rayan's eyes widened, obviously he knew what Agastya meant "I.. I don't know right now but.."
Agastya's eyes started glowing bright red, the trees around them started moving on their own. The branches extended, the stems bent, the sharp ends all reached for Rayan, stopped just close enough to his head. Agastya smirked and asked "But what?"
"I can lure him out! I can lure him out for you. He was last seen on the night he massacred your family, that's it. Everyone believes he is dead, but you and I know he's alive. I can find him and lure him out for you! Just give me some time!" Rayan's voice was as loud as he could make it.
Agastya smirked, his eyes widened, completely amused "You couldn't even lure a fly to a corpse, Rayan — and you've spent your life around corpses."
Rayan shouts, crying "I PROMISE! PLEASE AGASTYA!!!"
Agastya bursts into laughter "Alright alright! You won't be a problem even if given a thousand more years. I give you two. Go find that rotten rat and bring him out of his hole."
***********
Rayan stood on the terrace, gazing at the sea and the sunset. The image of his humiliation was still fresh in his mind. It was good enough that no one else knew how desperately he begged for mercy, that too from the person his cult had declared an enemy. But, despite his unreal rage and urge to kill Agastya, the two years were finally over. It was just a matter of time before Agastya showed up to collect his payment, his greatest enemy's location, or his greatest enemy himself, in the flesh.
Rishi took a sip of the coffee that had just arrived for him. The door opened, Rayan entered with two of his black guards and smiled "Welcome Rishi! I have been eager to meet you. I am Rayan Shah! As you can see, I own this place."
Rishi's eyes narrow "You are the person that Aaryan sent me and Manav to capture."
Rayan chuckles "I assure you Rishi, it wasn't what you thought. Me and Aaryan are on really great terms. It's just Manav always has a hard time trusting me but I assure you my intentions are noble. Like right now, here, see the gift I brought for you."
One of the black guards holds up a small box to Rishi. Rishi reluctantly takes it in his hand.
The box looked clean, aesthetic, black in color, very premium. Rishi opened it slowly and it revealed a phone, a very familiar phone. Rishi's eyes widened, it was the same phone he saw in that vision of his.
Rayan chuckled "I tried but could not open it, I could have hacked it but I did not want to lose my credibility. Your fingerprints should be able to open it. Take your time, go through it, it's your old phone."
He turned and left the room, his two guards followed him.
Rishi turned the phone around and looked at it, then its sides, then scratches on the screen. It looked just like the one in his vision, something this accurate should be hard to copy. He gently placed his thumb on the lower part of the screen, that small area flashed and the screen lit up. The phone was open. He instantly looked for the phone gallery and opened it.
