Rishi's grip tightened on the sword. More guards showed up, from both sides of the hallway. All of them had Katanas.
He took a deep breath, the image of the smiling face came to his mind, he pushed all the other thoughts aside. Tightly, he grabbed his torn shirt, ripped it off of himself, standing there shirtless, covered in blood. He gently lifted his chin up, took another deep breath, and opened his eyes to look at the 'targets'.
They all came running, screaming, shouting in rage and bloodlust for their enemy. He just took a deep breath, and that was the last moment of calm he ever had. Then his face turned into pure rage, he lifted the Katana and went slashing through multiple of them at once, slicing them all to death, ripping and tearing apart.
The guards started hesitating more, he started hesitating less. Slowly and slowly, his bloodlust started building up as he hacked them all to death.
The white walls, the golden light, the brown furniture, the grey floor, all turned red. There weren't bodies on the floor, there were body parts on the floor. He showed no mercy to anyone.
Step by step, he walked over them, moved forward ahead. Finally, he reached Rayan's chamber. Rayan was sitting there, on a desk, watching the security footages on the screen. He smiled at him and stood up on his feet.
As he stepped forward, he said "I heard that you're looking for me."
Rishi asked, angrily "Tell me everything that happened to me.:
Rayan chuckled and sat on the table, facing Rishi straight ahead. With a bit of thought, he started talking "You... have been watched, you entire life. Since the day you were born. All because of a bloodline that your father belonged to. A very... important bloodline. That gave you the ability to grow so fast in strength and such compatibility to the warrior energy. When you were considered ready, almost every organization tried to come for you. X Graders just happened to be the smartest, or the earliest depending on how you look at it. You were out on a trip, a camping trip with your friends when you were kidnapped from there, your memory was erased and a fake body, looking just like you was thrown out to make everyone believe you are dead."
Rishi's eyes widened.
Rayan almost seemed to enjoy all of this, he continued "You are a tool, Rishi. You were turned into a warrior by Aaryan, just so you could serve his interests."
Rishi looked enraged "If you lie to me-"
Rayan chuckled "I am anything but a liar Rishi. I have never lied in my life, ever. If I wanted to harm you, I would have done so."
Rishi asked "You sure it is not because you will get chopped into pieces if you tried?"
Rayan chuckled again "I admit Rishi, your growth has been quite fast that even I might not stand much of a chance. But someone else does. Aaryan has a secret ally. He is coming for you right now. I made Manav my captive, so Aaryan decided to send that person to save Manav and kill you and I."
Rishi's eyes narrowed "Who?"
Rayan's smirk widened "Agastya!"
Rishi's eyes widened and then narrowed "I will kill Agastya too then."
Rayan's smirk widened.
*********
His feet touched the sand, he walked closer to the dense fauna. He looked around. It was the first time he had come to this island.
Agastya had been searching for a certain someone all his life, after losing his entirely family to that person in a massacre, back when Agastya was just a child, he lost his father, his mother, his elder brother, his entire extended clan, a thousand years ago. Now that he was closer than ever to his goal, his heart was beating fast. Still, he sensed something wrong, a scent of blood captured his senses, a lot of blood.
His eyes narrowed as he took his steps forward. After a slight walk, his eyes narrowed, he turned around instantly, his hand glowed blue.
The chop stopped inches before Rayan's throat. Agastya looked at Rayan with narrow eyes and spoke "You're lucky to survive this long. I hope you didn't lie."
Rayan smiled "I am anything but a liar Agastya. The X Graders recently hired a new member, his name is Rishi. He is sort of a right hand to your enemy. Rishi has one of the blood eyes, he wouldn't have it unless he was trusted by Achyut, would he?"
Agastya lowered his hand and asked "Who is this.... Rishi?"
Rayan spoke "Rishi is the last surviving member of The Clan of Fire! Just like you are of the Clan of Death! He started out extremely weak but has gained a lot of power in a short time. He even commands blue energy inside his body, with his blood eye. Though if he can handle the golden energy or not... remains unanswered."
Agastya nodded "This is more of a good news than a bad one. It only means I can punch him with all my strength and not worry about him exploding into bits. Where is he?"
Rayan just lifted his hand and pointed at his huge mansion, the mansion that looked like a prison from outside. He spoke "I have him waiting in there. I told him that I was his ally and he needs to trust me. Safe to say this Rishi is quite gullible."
Agastya chuckled "Everyone is, to an extent."
He started walking forward, with purpose. His hands started glowing red, his eyes started glowing red too. He uttered "I'll make sure to make it slow and painful even after he tells me the location of his 'master'. Evacuate this island if you want to survive Rayan. I will NOT HOLD BACK!"
Rayan smirked and nodded. He turned and thought to himself "As powerful as Rishi is, he won't last a second against Agastya Verma. The difference in power is still too large to overcome."
He chuckled and murmured "Sending the vision of that massacre to Rishi's eye was worth it after all. Rishi still thinks he is the one who killed Agastya's family. This is all perfect."
Agastya jumped up into the air, high. He just went head first towards the building and crashed on it, breaking through.
Manav's eyes widened as he heard the loud explosion. He desperately tried to break the chains, but to no avail.
Agastya marched forward.
Rishi looked up, when he heard the explosion. He stood up to his feet and grabbed the Katana. His eyes narrowed as he murmured one word "Agastya!"
Agastya's eyes glowed brighter and brighter as he marched through the halls, he uttered on word "Rishi!"
