Right now Dean had stayed in the room with Hope and Larah. The nurse were running a check on Hope. Dean and the others had already been checked. Aside their wounds and bad condition nothing unusual had been spotted. As the nurses ran a check on Hope Lrah had stayed close. She dreaded the nurses may spot something, something out of the normal. Well, Hope was born from a woman who was turning to a ghoul. She had showed no sign of infection but maybe she was an immune one. Before Sir Krus had left with Sark and Jessie he had briefed the group about immune ones. It seemed like they themselves had immune ones among their ranks. Dean had the possibility to follow them but he chose to remain with Larah. He approached her from the side and placed his arm on her delicate shoulders. Larah tilted her head to the site, posing her head on Dean's arm which was on her shoulder. 'Thank you!', she muttered. 'Thank you for staying here.' 'Where would I be if not here? It's ok everything will be fine! Still it's weird that they are running tests longer on her than they did with us!' And it became even weirder when soldiers entered the chamber. There were 4 in total and one among them was holding blood. That blood seemed normal but Dean had that weird feeling inside him and stepped to the front, asking: 'What is that blood for?' The nurse didn't answer and reached for the blood. Immediately Dean darted forth but the other 3 soldiers blocked his way. Together they restrained Dean and viewing their red faces and veins it took them all to keep Dean pinned to the floor. 'Larah, don't let her get close with that blood to Hope!' The nurse hurried to Hope who was sleeping on a bet, the blanket crisp and white. Larah closed in from behind and pulled the nurse by her hair. The nurse fought Larah off, however, in the process she didn't adjust her strength and crushed the glass with the blood. The blood rained down on hope and then it happened. The skin o Hope took in the blood. Before anyone could say anything a woman entered the room, a wide grin on her face, She had long white hairs. Her eyes were red as if they had sucked in blood themselves and her teeth were sharp, too sharp. Her face was pale. She went by Nicole and she didn't waste any time to convey the news: 'Seems like she is also an immune one!' Dean lastly managed to shove the soldiers away. He ran right at Hope, but before he knew Nicole stood afore her and she packed Dean by his Neck, lifting him from the floor. Larah didn't freeze. She smacked the nurse to the ground and grabbed Hope, retreating as she asked: 'Are you one of them? Are you a monster?' Nicole glanced towards Larah and a smile flashed on her face. 'Well, in some way you could call me monster but I am no demon and no angel. You know there exist people who are immune, at least that's what everyone thinks. In fact, they did get infected by the ghouls or rather the demon's energy running through their bodies. Your child is an immune one but at the same time that means that she is possessed by a demon. Did you already met a white ghoul?' Dean and Larah were stupefied and so Nicole went on: 'Well a white ghoul is the same only there it's the work of an angel. Well, I'll keep it short. I was also an immune one, possessed by a demon but we found a way how we can kill the demon an retain all its power, or well an angel. It's the same. There are two advantages. The first one would be that, well, we don't have a demon possessing us anymore. You never know what one might do and the second is, that way we are not immune ones anymore!' She let go Dean as she went on and didn't even care that he nearly collapsed on the floor were it not for Larah who came running for his help: 'Demons and angels are fighting a war and they want to continue that war here on earth. But to do that they must come here ' – 'How do you know that much?', Dean bellowed, struggling back to his legs. 'I told you I was an immune one. For my luck my demon was ok with sharing information but I was no big fan of being possessed. So I got rid of her. And I would appreciate it if you wouldn't interrupt me again
Sark and Jessie had assembled with some people of the military. And among the people some seemed different, their atmosphere around them was just not humane. Sweat dropped down their spines. They had all gathered around a table. On the table a map had been spread, a map of the world and on the maps some places had been emblazoned in red. Sir Krus was standing next to Sark when Sark asked him: 'So these weird soldiers, they are the one who went through the operations? Can everyone do it?' 'Only if you are an immune one and even then the operation can fail. This either result in your death or you just stay the same!' Their chatter ceased when the commander appeared. He was damn big, muscled, almost a titan. His black, wild hair and beard only make him appear more dangerous. He had scars all over his arms, necks and even the face. His eyes were shining in a dark grey. His presence alone made it harder for Sark to breath and Jessie too. The commander came to a halt, just before Sark and Jessie, only the table between them. He began speaking, his voice deep and rough: 'I am Commander Nootra. Weird name, right? Even weirder history. Well, that aside. I heard of you two and your friends!' Sark stared the commander direct in the eyes as he posed his question: 'I assume you are one of them. The people who were once immune one?' 'You are right. And your stare! The stare of a fighter, someone strong. Seems like I am not the only one with a history here!' Jessie side-eyed Sark who betrayed no emotion. Commander Nootra bent over the table and went on with his speech: 'We found a way to stop all this shit. The demons! The angels! Their fucking ghouls! And the priests! We will fucking kill them all even if we must become monsters ourselves!'
In the city where Dean had met Sark and Larah a horde of ghouls had gathered. In the center of these ghouls there were two persons. The first one was Nighyel who had clad her hands in fire. Next to her someone was standing, someone who didn't belong here. And that person was John. He looked the same before he had died. Nighyel gave him a kiss on the cheeks and when john remained quiet, Nighyel ordered: 'Smile!' And right away, John smiled. Then Nighyel turned to north. That's where the Behills Hospital was sited and that was the next destination for Nighyel and her armies of hungry ghouls. They set march to their next all you can eat!
