Mirelah;
"You must have misunderstood me, dear. I'm… sorry for that." He says, and I smile at him.
"I… misunderstood?" I question softly as I take a hand up to my lips in 'surprise', and he shoots me a death glare for a second.
"Yes. You did." He says, before turning to the podium.
"Step down, Morgaze. I'm officiating this wedding."
My smirk blossoms into a full smile of satisfaction, and Liriel's father, whom I now know to be Morgaze, stares at King Damarion with his mouth agape.
"But, Sire…" He begins, and King Damarion cuts him off.
"Morgaze… My precious daughter-in-law, as well as my son, have made this request of me. Tell me. How could I possibly turn them down?" He says, still maintaining his act, and I have to bite the inside of my cheek to keep from laughing.
"Of course, Your Majesty. You're right." Morgaze gives in reluctantly, and I smirk at him as he angrily marches down from the podium.
