Two carriages arrived at the grand Charles mansion. From the first, Charles stepped out with his usual composed expression. The second carriage opened to reveal William and Bretum.
William spotted his father and called out, "Father!"
Charles turned to see him. "Oh, William. You're here."
Together, they entered the mansion. As they crossed the hall, William asked, "Father, where were you?"
"I had some business to handle," Charles replied.
Just then, Seraphina appeared from the hallway and greeted them warmly. "Welcome home."
William smiled. "How have you been?"
"Pretty good," Seraphina said with a nod. Then William suddenly remembered something. "Father, I need to talk to you about something important."
Charles raised an eyebrow. "Alright then, let's discuss it in the office."
Seraphina turned to the butler. "Please prepare some tea."
Bretum stepped forward and said to William, "I'll help prepare the tea."
William nodded. "Okay."
