[1-2 Hours Later]
(Leonardo still hasn't replied. I don't remember waiting this long before.)
(John calls our character over.)
(Let's see what happens this time.)
Our character walks over to John.
****: What's up, dad?
John: Did you handle the job?
****: I'm trying to get it done.
John: Hurry up; they've started threatening more.
****: Chill, have you talked to your boss?
John: No, I haven't.
****: Why not?
John: I don't know; I just didn't.
****: Dude, you should have. This was an important step. As long as you stay silent, you'll keep getting stepped on.
John: Alright, stop with the philosophy and keep doing your job. I'll try to handle it.
****: Is that all?
John: How was your first day at school?
****: It was good.
John: I hope it gets even better from here.
****: I hope so too, man.
Our character heads to his room.
(Why is my dad so cowardly? It shouldn't be that hard to just tell his boss about this.)
(I want to take a little nap now.)
Our character takes a short nap.
[44 Minutes Later]
Our character wakes up.
(I don't know how I fell asleep, but I realize now that I was really tired.)
Our character checks his emails.
(Yes, there's finally a response from Leonardo.)
Email:
Got it; I'll handle this. It won't be a big deal. By the way, we'll meet again as a community tomorrow. There are important matters to discuss, and I'll pick you up from school then.
(I knew he was aware of my school, but I was surprised he mentioned it directly. Then again, what am I surprised about? I'm serving the same goals under the same roof with these people; there's nothing to be shocked about.)
