They drove straight to the station. The entire police team had been waiting for either of them to show up as they already had the witness in custody.

She sniffled as she uncapped the bottle then drank.
Chief Hanks reclined as he watched her take her sip.
The moment she dropped the bottle, she thanked him with her eyes before staring at him.
