Once Maxus was done exchanging words with Cairn he then turned to me.
"I need you to make another large batch of the scent masking ointment, however not only for the hunters but for all the men in the village," Maxus then ordered me.
"I see," I responded a little confused.
"I need it for the men on guard duty as well," he then explained.
I was pleasantly surprised by his request looks he had something planned for it.
"So, collect the ingredients you need now and go afterwards you take rest since I had you woken up so early," he went on.
"There's no need to worry I can work…" I tried to tell him I was able to continue working normally.
"…No, I insist. I'd prefer if you rested if you don't take care of yourself you won't be of much use to anyone will you?" he said to me.
My eyes widened and I stopped arguing. I couldn't argue with that argument. I was surprised by how insistent he was on me taking care of myself.
"Yes, chief," I said in resignation.
