It was just as the dinner was starting to get prepared that the hunting group finally returned. I had been in my tent and heard loud cheering from outside. I left my tent and went towards the village members that had gathered. I saw the hunting group being cheered on by the village, they were carrying two large deer.
My eyes watered with emotion and a wide smiled was on my face. I saw Maxus ahead leading the group into the village. He looked around the village until his eyes finally landed on me and stayed that way.

MAXUS'S POV
Leaving the territory with my hunting group, I was extremely worried. It's not like we never left the territory before; we did from time to time when we wanted to check on any enemy packs lurking around the area. However, it was usually one person to two people that went out and only a short distance. This was the first time I was leaving the with such a large group.
