RIAN'S POV
Getting away from Cairn, I got to work taking care of all the male wolves' injuries. As I worked on them I imagined how difficult things must have been for them. Like Maxus, they all had multiple scars on their bodies which they must have obtained from years of fighting other wolves. Once I was done I went to where Maximus
"I'm done," I told Maxus. I noticed he too had a few injuries himself noticing some rips in his clothes. I knew he wouldn't let me attend to him though given how he reacted the last time. I wish he would stop being so stubborn and just let me help him. My inner addiction of wanting to attend to people was fighting to ask him if he wanted to.
"Are you sure you don't need to be checked, she's free now," Cairn said to Maxus as he looked at me. Looks even Cairn agreed with my thoughts.
"Are you done with the ointments for the hunt today?" Maxus then asked me, ignoring Cairn's question.
"Yes, I made a large batch of the ointment," I replied to him.
