John looked at the Dragon Radar and pointed to one of the glowing dots, saying, "That Dragon Ball is the three-star ball at Master Roshi's house."
"Huh, I didn't realize there was a Dragon Ball near Karin Tower," John said, surprised as he looked at the radar. "I just came back from Karin Tower. If I had known, I could have brought the Dragon Ball back for you."
"Karin Tower?" Goku asked, puzzled.
"Yes, Karin Tower. When you go there to search for the Dragon Balls, you must climb up Karin Tower and ask Master Karin to train you. Master Karin is a more powerful martial artist than Master Roshi. It was because Master Roshi climbed Karin Tower and received training from Master Karin that he became the God of Martial Arts," John explained.
"That's incredible! I must climb Karin Tower," Goku exclaimed excitedly.
"Also, Goku, after you receive training from Master Karin, you must ask him for the 'Super Divine Water' to drink. Remember, it's 'Super Divine Water,' not 'Super Holy Water.' They are two different things."
"The 'Super Divine Water' can greatly unlock our potential. I believe that if you drink it, Goku, you will become incredibly powerful." John suggested.
John felt that even though he might not be able to change the timing of the villains' appearances, he could still significantly enhance the strength of his companions.
Bulma, who was listening to John's description of the Super Divine Water, was intrigued by its ability to instantly enhance one's strength. She wanted to get some for Yamcha, so she asked, "Can I get some more? I want Yamcha to drink it too, so he doesn't have to train so hard."
John immediately shook his head and joked, "No, Yamcha can't drink it. The Super Divine Water is highly toxic, and those who can't resist the poison won't unlock their potential; they'll die instead."
"What? But you let Goku drink it!" Bulma exclaimed angrily.
John explained, "Goku and I have the same body type; we're both Saiyans, so we can resist the poison of the Super Divine Water."
"Did you drink it?" Bulma asked.
"I did," John nodded, but then continued, "Although I didn't die, there were fourteen people before me who drank the Super Divine Water, and every single one of them died from the poison."
Hearing this, Bulma finally decided, "Never mind, then."
Since the Dragon Radar was now working and there was also the matter of Karin Tower, Goku bid farewell to John and Bulma and prepared to leave for Karin Tower immediately.
Goku hurriedly left West City, eager to reach Karin Tower.
Time passed, and about ten days later, Bulma received a phone call at home from Master Roshi. He informed her that Goku had confronted the Red Ribbon Army and was planning to attack their headquarters.
So, Master Roshi gathered everyone to discuss how to rescue Goku from the Red Ribbon Army.
John suggested, "What's there to discuss? Let's just go there and wipe out the Red Ribbon Army."
John's suggestion was immediately rejected by everyone present. To save Goku, even the blue-haired Launch had turned into the blonde Launch. Launch said, "I've dealt with the Red Ribbon Army before, and their power is immense. They have tanks, planes, cannons, missiles, and all sorts of advanced weapons. They are practically a country within a country."
"With just a few guns, we have no chance against them."
At this point, Master Roshi spoke up, "Regardless, we can't just ignore Goku. Let's head towards the Red Ribbon Army headquarters, and we'll deal with any obstacles along the way."
So, Bulma piloted the plane, carrying everyone towards the Red Ribbon Army headquarters. Everyone was tense, except for John, who sat casually at the back of the plane, whistling. John hadn't even planned to come, but Master Roshi had forced him onto the plane, reminding him that Goku was still his friend and that he shouldn't just watch him die.
As expected, when they arrived near the Red Ribbon Army headquarters, everyone was discussing plans to attack the headquarters. However, to their surprise, they saw Goku riding the Nimbus Cloud, returning from the Red Ribbon Army headquarters.
They called Goku over and asked him what had happened. Goku explained that he had single-handedly eliminated the entire Red Ribbon Army.
John said, "I told you, we didn't need to discuss any strategies. We could have just gone there and fought them."
Hearing John's words, everyone fell silent. They hadn't expected the Red Ribbon Army to be so weak that even a child could defeat them.
Ignoring the others, John turned to Goku and asked, "Goku, did you drink the Super Divine Water?"
Goku nodded and said, "I did, but it was so bitter. After drinking it, my whole body ached, and I almost died."
"But after enduring the pain, my strength improved significantly. It's much stronger than before."
John nodded in satisfaction and took a step back, assuming a fighting stance. He said, "Goku, since we've both drunk the Super Divine Water, let's have a fight. I want to see how much stronger you've become."
The others, especially Master Roshi, Krillin, and Yamcha, were intrigued by John's suggestion. They all wanted to know how much John and Goku's strength had improved since the World Martial Arts Tournament, which was only half a year away.
Although Goku was interested in John's proposal, he shook his head and said, "I can't. I still need to collect all seven Dragon Balls to revive Upa's father."
"Hmm? You mean Bora? What happened to him?" John was surprised, thinking that he had changed the plot, and Bora should have been safe.
Goku explained, "There's a killer named Mercenary Tao who is helping the Red Ribbon Army collect the Dragon Balls. I was training at Karin Tower when he followed me there. By the time I arrived, I could only save Upa. Mercenary Tao had already killed Bora."
Master Roshi, hearing the name Mercenary Tao, furrowed his brow and asked, "Is it the Mercenary Tao who is known as the world's strongest assassin? Did you defeat him?"
Goku nodded and said, "Yes, I defeated him. In the end, he threw a ki blast at me, but I kicked it back at him, and he blew himself up."
Hearing Goku's words, Master Roshi felt a twinge in his heart. He couldn't help but think of his brother and the challenges that lay ahead.
