Chapter 50 - Chapter 23: Exchanging Senzu Beans

Upon hearing what John wanted to buy, Bulma lost interest and asked the company to assign someone to accompany John on his shopping trip. Once all the items were procured, they were stored in a storage capsule and handed over to John.

After receiving the storage capsule, John bid farewell to Bulma and flew back to Karin Tower.

When John returned, Master Karin's eyes lit up with anticipation, and he eagerly asked, "How did it go? Did you get everything? Where is it?"

John smiled at Master Karin and said, "I got everything, and it's all in this storage capsule."

Master Karin took the storage capsule from John, intrigued by this new technology. He exclaimed, "This is a capsule? What an amazing invention! Such a small object can hold so many things."

John opened the capsules one by one to show Master Karin the items he had requested. He also helped set up the additional household items he had purchased for Master Karin.

Master Karin was delighted to see the transformation of his home and nodded in satisfaction. He then took out the jar containing the Senzu Beans and asked John, "What do you want to use to store the Senzu Beans?"

John quickly used a capsule to create a small storage box.

Master Karin didn't bother weighing the beans and generously poured more than half of the Senzu Beans into John's storage box.

Master Karin looked at John meaningfully and said, "You should make good use of the Senzu Beans. They're not just for filling your stomach."

John was thrilled and thanked Master Karin, "Thank you, Master Karin. I will definitely make good use of the Senzu Beans."

Master Karin was pleased to see that John understood the value of the Senzu Beans and nodded in satisfaction.

With that, their transaction was complete, and John bid farewell to Master Karin once again, returning to West City.

However, when John wanted to hide the Senzu Beans, he hesitated. He remembered that in the future, Earth would be destroyed, and he wondered where he should hide them.

In the end, John decided not to hide them for now. Instead, he planned to use the Senzu Beans and the Saiyan ability to recover from near-death to enhance his training.

If his strength became powerful enough, he wouldn't need the Senzu Beans.

When John returned to Bulma's house, the gravity control room was still under construction. It was clear that the young Bulma wasn't as skilled as her older self.

As John was training in Bulma's garden, he suddenly realized a problem.

Ever since drinking the Super Divine Water, John's strength had skyrocketed, but this also led to an issue. His ki had become extremely volatile, and while it was fine when he released it fully, it was too wild for precise movements.

When using Ultra Instinct, the wild ki made it difficult for John to calm his mind.

So, before the gravity control room was completed, John needed to regulate his ki.

John sat on the roof of Bulma's house and began meditating to calm the raging ki within him.

Time passed slowly, and one day, a voice rang out at Bulma's front door, "Bulma!"

John opened his eyes and saw that it was Goku who had arrived. John realized that the plot had progressed to this point, and soon Goku would be facing off against the world's strongest fighter, Mercenary Tao.

However, with the changes John had made to the plot, Bora, Upa's father, should no longer be killed.

John jumped down from the roof and greeted Goku, "Hey, Goku."

Goku was delighted to see John and greeted him enthusiastically, asking, "John, I didn't know you were at Bulma's house too!"

John explained, "Did you forget that I also live in West City? But my home is too small for training, so I asked Bulma to help me build a training machine. That's why I've been staying at her house recently."

"Oh, I see. Weren't you looking for the four-star Dragon Ball? What brings you here?"

"Well, my Dragon Radar broke, and I wanted to ask Bulma to fix it. Is she home?" Goku said, taking out his broken Dragon Radar.

"Bulma is in the lab. I'll take you there," John replied.

After saying this, John politely greeted the police officer who had brought Goku and thanked him for the ride.

The police officer felt a little embarrassed and said, "Um, my car has been running slowly lately. Could you ask Dr. Brief to take a look at it?"

"Oh, sure, no problem. Come on in," John invited.

The three of them walked towards Bulma's house, and as they walked, Goku marveled at the size of Bulma's home.

Just then, Bulma, who had heard that Goku had arrived, came out to greet them along with Dr. Brief. Dr. Brief immediately spotted the police officer standing next to John and pulled him by the arm, saying, "Ah, you must be Goku! I can't believe how big you've grown! Bulma told me you were still young."

The police officer, feeling awkward, said, "Sorry, Dr. Brief, I'm not the Goku you're looking for."

At that moment, Goku raised his head and said to Dr. Brief, "Uncle, I'm Goku!"

"Oh, so you're Goku! You're indeed small," Dr. Brief said without any embarrassment, shaking Goku's hand enthusiastically.

Goku laughed it off, and in the end, Dr. Brief stayed to help the police officer repair his motorcycle while Goku followed John to Bulma's lab.

As Bulma examined Goku's broken Dragon Radar, John took out his own Dragon Radar and said, "Yes, I have a working radar here. Goku, you can use it for now. Also, the Dragon Ball in the ocean is the three-star ball. I've given it to Master Wutian for safekeeping. If you need it, you can go to Master Roshi's house to get it."

Goku opened the Dragon Radar and finally saw the location of the Dragon Balls flashing on the screen. He said, "Oh, if it's the three-star ball, I don't need to get it. I don't have any wishes to make. I just want to find the four-star ball that my grandpa left for me."
