John approached the gold chest first and tried to open it, but it was impossible to do so directly. He inserted his hands under the chest and felt its weight, realizing that it was made of solid gold.
John exerted some force, and the gold chest was easily flipped over. As the lid opened, a small robot emerged from the chest and started firing a machine gun at the ceiling of the cave.
After about ten seconds, the robot ran out of bullets and stopped moving. John put the chest back in place, took out the shooting robot, and threw it away. After inspecting the chest, he found no other items inside, but the solid gold chest itself was already valuable.
John then turned his attention to the silver and bronze chests. He opened the silver chest first, and just like the gold chest, a shooting robot emerged from it. However, the bronze chest had no traps and contained only a golden key.
John picked up the key and carefully examined the cave, noticing a keyhole under the Kannon statue.
He inserted the key into the keyhole, and to his surprise, it fit perfectly. With a gentle turn, the mechanism inside the statue activated, and the statue's mouth opened wide, releasing a stream of gems, gold, rings, necklaces, and other treasures. Most of the treasures fell into the gold chest, filling it to the brim.
John was thrilled to see the pirate treasure, but he knew that the quantity was not as he remembered from the Dragon Ball series. The image of a cave filled with treasure was still fresh in his mind.
John carefully inspected the cave, searching for a mechanism to reveal the real treasure location. However, after examining the walls, he couldn't find any switches or buttons. He wondered if he had remembered incorrectly.
John clenched his fist and knocked on the wall, "It's hollow! The wall behind the statue is hollow!"
It became clear that the real pirate treasure was hidden behind the wall.
Since he couldn't find the switch to open the door, John decided to break it down himself. He assumed a fighting stance, gathered his energy into his right fist, and struck the wall with all his might.
A loud "bang" echoed through the cave as the wall began to crack. The crack started from where John had punched and spread outward, eventually causing the entire wall to shatter into pieces.
Under the bright white light, the cave was filled with a dazzling array of treasures, reflecting the light and making John squint.
As he adjusted to the brightness, John was astonished. The cave, about half the size of a football field, was filled with various gems, gold bars, jewelry, gold and silver coins, crowns, and swords adorned with jewels.
John couldn't help but think that these pirates must have robbed the entire world.
In addition to the treasures, there were several golden chairs, each occupied by a dead pirate. Due to the passage of time, their clothes had decayed into mere strips of fabric, and their bodies had turned into skeletons.
Although the sight was a bit gruesome, John didn't mind. He was grateful to these pirates for contributing to his future happiness.
With the treasure found, it was time to transport it.
John took out the large storage capsule boxes he had prepared and began carefully moving the pirate treasure into them. A standard container-sized storage box was filled with five and a half boxes of treasure, but there was still more treasure left.
John didn't want to leave any behind, so he also took the gold and silver chests.
As he prepared to leave the cave in the submarine, John noticed the Kannon statue.
"Since the treasure was initially spewed out from the Kannon's mouth, there might be more treasure hidden inside the statue," John thought.
Following his principle of not wasting any valuable items, John jumped and kicked the stone Kannon statue with all his might.
"Boom!" The upper half of the statue broke off, and a shower of gold and silver coins and gems fell to the ground. Just as John had suspected, there was more treasure hidden inside the statue.
Finally, the remaining treasure filled up the half-full storage box, satisfying John's slight obsession with completeness.
John carefully inspected the pirate treasure cave one last time, ensuring that there were no more hidden treasures. He didn't want the pirates to cause any more trouble.
Satisfied that all the treasure had been collected, John prepared to leave. However, since he was already there, he decided to retrieve the Dragon Ball as well.
He dove into the water and found the Four-Star Dragon Ball inside the mouth of a skull.
To his surprise, there was even more pirate treasure in the pool.
John was exasperated with the pirates' carelessness in hiding their treasure. They had left it scattered everywhere, making it difficult to manage.
However, with six large storage boxes already filled with treasure, John had no more space to store any additional items. He decided to leave the remaining treasure in the submarine and the plane's storage compartments.
With all the available storage space filled with pirate treasure, John was ready to depart. He didn't want to search for more treasure, as he had no room to store it. It was better to leave now than to waste more time.
John piloted the submarine back to the entrance of the pirate port, walking quickly towards the port.
At the entrance, he noticed that the pirate robot was gone, probably recharging somewhere.
John hurried towards the entrance of the pirate port, and just as he was about to leave, the pirate robot appeared.
Without its sword and machine gun, the pirate robot attacked John with its fists.
Although it was a wheeled robot, it moved quickly. However, without its weapons, it posed little threat to John.
John effortlessly dodged all the robot's attacks and rushed into the entrance passage.
The robot seemed to have a limited range of movement, as it stopped at the entrance of the passage and didn't pursue John any further.
Its red eyes stared at John for a moment before slowly moving towards the dilapidated building.
John couldn't help but sigh at the irony of the situation. A massive pirate group had been reduced to a single robot, which was now guarding the treasure.
