As you've read, Volume One — The Remnants of the Fallen Goddess — has officially come to an end. It's been quite the journey, and I want to take a moment to thank everyone who's come this far with me. Whether you joined recently or have been reading since the beginning, I truly appreciate your support, your comments, your feedback, and even your lurking views. They all help keep me going.
The next volume, Tides of Power, will begin immediately—no delay. There's no break between volumes, so the story will continue right away, picking up from the final events of Volume One. Things are about to grow even more intense for Leo and the people around him, with new powers, new lands, and new threats waiting just beyond the horizon.
According to Royal Road's stats, Volume One came out to 842 pages and 231,722 words. I originally had a general idea of how things would unfold, but as the world grew and the characters developed, so did the scope and depth of the story. I hope you've enjoyed the ride so far—there's a lot more ahead.
If you've been wondering about some of the mysteries or setups from earlier chapters, don't worry. A lot of those threads will be revisited and expanded upon in Tides of Power. This is only the beginning of Leo's journey, and he still has a long way to go—both as a person and as someone caught between forces far beyond anything he ever expected.
I've also made a small update to the cover. It's nothing drastic, but if you've got a keen eye, you might notice the difference. Let's just say… it's a bit more revealing now. ;)
