Silas's POV
Main problem was now that everything was happening so fast that I didn't know what to do.
"Silas, you just stay with Velric and don't come out from the palace. We will handle this situation," Damon said.
And they all had to go too, because that's how they could save us from this destruction. But I didn't want to stay in the bunker like some coward... I also wanted to fight by their side. But seeing that situation, I didn't say anything and just nodded.
The four of them got ready to leave for the war, because our knights with the general were already fighting.
"Promise me, all of you, that you will come back alive and safe and sound." I tied the handkerchief on each of their hands.
And the feeling I was feeling at that moment—like something really bad was going to happen—I could feel that. But I was hoping that everything would be fine.
Kael caressed my cheek. "Silas, we don't know about safe and sound, but yes, we will come back alive. That's a promise."
