3rd Person POV – A Little Flashback

"So... where should I begin..." a presence spoke, its voice calm, as it gazed upon the young soul before it. "Alright, let's start with this: you're dead." it said flatly.

The presence waited for a reaction, any emotion that might flicker across the soul's face—but none came.

"So?" the soul responded simply. It had already accepted the truth. What other emotion was left to express?

"..."

That presence—let's call it ROB—remained silent, watching the soul for a moment longer before finally speaking again.

"You've accepted this reality... surprisingly well."

"I guess so. So, what now?" the soul asked, turning toward ROB. "I suppose you're the one in charge around here, right?" then glanced around its surroundings.

"You're right. Do you like it here?" ROB asked softly. The soul couldn't make out ROB's face, so it imagined that he was smiling.

"Well... I don't hate it." the soul replied, then looked back at ROB—or rather, the glowing form that radiated a gentle warmth. The light didn't bother the soul; instead, it felt comforted, as though being embraced.

"Do you want to stay?" ROB offered, presenting the soul with a choice.

The soul fell silent. As much as it didn't mind staying here, a thought stirred in its mind—Do I even deserve this?

"If you want to..." ROB interjected, reading the soul's thoughts—of course he could. "I suppose this is what people call heaven, huh?" the soul muttered, its voice heavy, and he already guess it that ROB can read his mind.

"Not exactly." ROB said. "But if you want to, you can stay. Be at peace. You deserve to be here."

"Do I really have a choice?... I don't feel worthy of this place. This feels like heaven... and I've committed many sins in my life." the soul confessed. It felt no different from any other flawed human being.

"Hoho, don't be so dramatic." ROB chuckled. "You not only have many sins... but not many good deeds either."

The soul looked at him, unsure whether to be insulted or amused.

"If you don't wish to stay here, I can offer you other options." ROB said calmly.

"Oh, don't get me wrong. I do want to stay. But let's hear what you've got." the soul replied quickly. Who wouldn't want to stay in heaven?.

"Alright… let's see. You like it here, so I bet you'd like the real heaven even more. But do you truly want to live there? Part of your heart says yes, but another part disagrees. Clearly, you don't like the idea of hell—no one does..."

The soul nodded, watching ROB as he seemed to consider the next move.

"...How about transmigration? Or reincarnation?" ROB finally said, eyeing the soul carefully.

"...So I have to live a whole new life? That sounds terrible... I've already seen how dark the world can be." the soul said, trembling.

Of course, ROB noticed this, but he didn't offer any comforting words. He didn't need to—he knew everything about the soul, from the moment of birth to its unjust death.

"You like Young Sheldon, right? Oh, don't give me that look. I know you love that show. And The Big Bang Theory too."

The soul wanted to deny it, but before it could speak, ROB cut it off. There was no point in lying. If he could, he would've done it from the start.

"..."

So he said nothing, and continued listening.

"Would you like to live in that world?" ROB asked, watching the soul's reaction.

The soul's entire form trembled harder.

"Don't give me that 'do I deserve this' look. If I'm offering to send you there, then of course you deserve it."

"...Really?" the soul finally asked after a long silence.

"Yes! Come on, give me a little more enthusiasm!" ROB grinned. He snapped his fingers, and a screen appeared before them both.

"Will I have a mission to complete over there?" the soul asked cautiously. Of course, nothing comes for free. Would he have to fight or banish lost souls? Better to know now—and reject it if necessary.

"Hmm… not really. But you can pray for me. Haha." ROB laughed. "You don't have to, of course. But if you ever feel like it, I might just send you a little peace."

The soul muttered, "So I don't have to do anything for you? Like build a church or find followers?"

"Not at all. I just want to give you happiness." ROB said gently. Together, they looked at the screen.

It showed Young Sheldon Lee Cooper, playing with his train set. His mother was cooking, Missy was already seated at the table, and George was sipping his coffee.

Sheldon was incredibly lucky—blessed with genius, perfect pitch... come on, that's practically cheating. And a loving family on top of it.

A whole damn package. But…

"...You're not going to send me as Sheldon, right? Because I'd rather stay in heaven." the soul said firmly, turning to ROB.

"Hahaha, of course not! I wouldn't do that to you. I know your story, young soul... I'll send you as Georgie! Look at him—handsome face, great hair… and… that's about it..." ROB turned his head away as the soul gave him a judgmental look.

"Georgie? Come on... I don't even like his voice in the show..."

"Alright, alright..." ROB relented. "I'll give you a gift. You can alter Georgie's body however you want."

A new panel appeared before them, showing Georgie's naked body.

"Well... I guess this will be mine, then. Can I change anything about it? Will the changes make people suspicious?"

The soul looked at ROB and said, "Hey, I could shatter that world into pieces with just a snap of my fingers."

"So, green light for me… Let's see—hmm, the face could use a bit of an upgrade. The hair looks nice, but I want it black. As for height, let's go with 6'1" for my adult body, and 5'7" for now. Can you give me superpowers too?"

"…You want Captain America's body, huh? I can't do exactly that, but I can give you the perfect physique. It means you won't bulk up like a scary bodybuilder even if you work out too much, or outgrow your old man just from eating junk. Your muscles, tendons, your whole frame—it'll all develop in proportion to a lean workout body. The more you train, the more perfect you become."

"That sounds pretty cool… but I really don't like his voice in 'Young Sheldon'. Since I'm going to live in Texas, I want my voice to be warmer, smoother... more charming."

"Do you want to be a musician?" ROB asked, already aware that in his previous life, the boy had dreamed of it—but his physical limitations held him back.

"Hmm… I'm not quite sure. But I do want that voice. If I have that voice, I wouldn't have to try so hard to be anything. Especially now that my face is upgraded."

ROB shrugged and examined the character in front of him. "Of course, let's not forget the most important part… Make it bigger. Bigger is always better." The soul said excitedly about 'that' part.

"...."

"Alright, I'm done." the soul said as he looked over the new form he had created. The hair was already great, but he made it a darker, glossier black.

"Let's see… You love animals, right? I'll give you an affinity for them." ROB offered.

But the soul quickly interrupted, "No, no, no—don't give me too much affinity. Sheldon's scared of dogs, chickens, birds, bees, and stuff like that."

"I know, I know. This affinity doesn't make you some kind of animal whisperer or sulaiman reincarnation. It just means animals won't see you as a threat. They'll feel comfortable around you."

"Well, that's fine then."

ROB smiled and continued customizing the character. "Hmm… I think perfect pitch would be nice. And one more thing… yeah, let's add that too. Now we're getting somewhere."

"…"

"Hmmm… Maybe this power is a bit too much for you. You probably won't be able to use it at full strength anyway. I'm giving you something called Soul Voice… Do you want to add anything else?" ROB asked, noticing the soul's blank, slightly skeptical expression—he could tell the gift came with weight.

"What's this Soul Voice thing? Am I going to start talking to ghosts or something?" the soul asked, unsure of what ROB had just done, though he didn't sense anything malicious.

"Soul Voice is the power to draw others into a world you create when you sing or something like outlet for the soul—if you can use its full potential." ROB explained. His face darkened slightly. "I gave this power to someone else before… and they wasted it."

"…That sounds… intense." the soul said, lips twitching slightly. He could hardly believe someone was handing him a mystical ability in a modern world.

"Oh, it is powerful. But it requires you to pour your deepest emotions into your voice—joy, sorrow, anger, anything. If you pour your soul into the song or something like that, people around you will feel it… be part of it. Just remember, this power also draws out your fully own emotions. Or, I should say, your soul. You'll be pulled into those emotional depths too. You might never be able to use it unless you're truly drowning in your feelings."

"…Is that so? You just want me to become a singer, don't you?" he asked, suspicion lingering in his tone.

"What are you talking about? You can be anything in that world. I don't care what you choose. I know you're a good kid… just a little twisted." ROB said with a smile. "I want you to have fun out there. But remember—those people in that world? They're real. They're not just characters from your TV or Netflix shows. I think you already understand that."

"I know." the young soul replied, eyes shining with determination. "I'm going to be the coolest big brother and the proudest son they've ever had!"

"That's the spirit!" ROB grinned. "Now… off you go, my child."

The soul gazed at him one last time. "Thank you…"

"You're welcome, child."

And with those words, everything faded to black. The soul's consciousness began to drift, and slowly, his eyes opened. All he could see was a messy room… and a porn magazine in his hand.

"Oh dear…" young Georgie muttered, quickly tossing the magazine aside. "I really need to clean this room…"
