Chapter 105 - Chapter 105: Consolation

"Hey, Theresa, are you there?"

Jun An called another one of his old flames while pinching Bronya's small, tender "fruit."

"What is it, Captain?"

Fatigue showed in Theresa's azure eyes, her delicate face revealing dissatisfaction. "Why are you calling so late at night?"

Schicksal Headquarters and North America had a time difference of several hours. It was early morning in North America, but still nighttime far away in Europe at Schicksal HQ.

"Oh, forgot about the time difference."

Jun An suddenly felt that having girlfriends all over the world was truly a bit inconvenient. Who knew, one day someone might call him right when he was in the heat of the moment, inviting him to a party.

Then Jun An would have to choose between what was in his "bowl" and what was in the "pot."

Of course, Jun An could also pour what was in the bowl into the pot and eat them all together.

Jun An looked at Theresa's large eyes, half-closed, and asked, "Why are you back on Earth? Don't you need to look after Kiana anymore?"

"Yeah, no need to manage her."

Theresa yawned, a hint of joy appearing on her face as she said, "Kiana's mood has been very stable recently. She's not clamoring to return to Earth anymore. That method you mentioned really works. After Kiana found out you were preparing a surprise for her, she calmed down a lot. Yesterday, she was even happily rolling all over the floor in her room."

After speaking, Theresa's expression turned peculiar. "How are you so skilled at coaxing girls?"

If you had to face someone who could use time-stop to fap you to death, you'd be skilled too.

Jun An thought to himself, but looking at Theresa, he naturally couldn't say such crude words. "Because my social circle is too overwhelmingly yin and insufficiently yang. One has to learn something to survive."

"Hmm?"

Theresa thought for a moment before recalling that what Jun An said was indeed true.

After all, Stigma Awakeners were inherently extremely yin-dominant. Whether it was St. Freya High or Schicksal HQ, any combat-related department was overwhelmingly female.

To what extent was it insufficient in yang? To put it simply, ever since Theresa established St. Freya High, she had never seen a male student other than the Captain enter St. Freya High.

This couldn't help but make Theresa recall those plots where the male protagonist transfers to an all-girls school due to some coincidence and then starts a harem. The only difference was that St. Freya High wasn't an all-girls school; it was simply that male Stigma Awakeners were too rare.

Of course, part of the reason was also that St. Freya High had been established for too short a time, not even ten years yet.

The Captain must be suffering, mixing in an environment where males are almost extinct.

An idea couldn't help but pop into Theresa's mind: if they had raised the Captain as a girl back then, would he have been able to integrate better into the general environment of St. Freya High?

But after thinking about it, she dismissed the idea. Given the Captain's mischievous personality, he would definitely use the convenience of his "psychological gender being female" to do all sorts of bad things.

He might just end up like Siegfried, touching all the Valkyries' butts.

Suddenly, Theresa noticed something off about Jun An's posture during their video call, as if he was holding something. Her gaze immediately sharpened. "Captain, what are you holding in your arms?"

"Oh, Bronya."

Jun An lifted the phone forward, bringing Bronya's face into the frame as well.

At this moment, Bronya was sitting in Jun An's lap, her face flushed red, so tender and moist it looked like water could be squeezed out. Her complexion was a rosy, translucent white, and she looked a little flustered. "Prin-Principal... L-long time no see."

"Yes, Bronya. We last met a month ago."

Theresa still remembered their meeting a month ago. It wasn't a pleasant occasion. She looked leisurely at the Captain. "Bronya cried so sadly that day."

Jun An instantly realized that about a month ago was precisely his "death" anniversary.

So my capable and cute little sister missed me that much. Even after a year, she could still cry so heartbreakingly. She deserves a reward.

"Eee~"

Bronya let out a strained sound, a strong reaction to her chest being grabbed. She was currently in her developmental period, and certain rapidly developing areas were quite sensitive to touch.

For a moment, she couldn't help but grit her teeth. It was one thing for him to put his hand inside her clothes, but this unscrupulous brother was actually doing it in front of the Principal... He had loved bullying her since they were little!

Bronya retaliated by pinching the flesh on his thigh, instantly contorting Jun An's face.

"Hiss~ Pain, pain, pain!"

Jun An's miserable cry immediately startled Theresa and the culprit, Bronya.

Bronya had only intended to make her brother suffer in silence, not expecting him to not hold back at all. He was probably going to play the victim in front of Theresa again.

Sure enough, Theresa looked worried. "Captain, what's wrong!?"

Jun An looked innocent, then squeezed and lightly pulled with his fingers again. "Bronya, why are you pinching your brother?"

"You!!"

Bronya looked ashamed and indignant, but her vital point was being pinched. The anger that had just risen was quelled by his squeeze, making it impossible for her to get angry. The curses on the tip of her tongue, she feared, would turn into coquettish whimpers if she opened her mouth.

Just as Jun An was feeling smug, Theresa let out another startled cry, "Bronya, why are you crying?!"

In an instant, tears welled up in Bronya's eyes, as if she had suffered a great injustice, yet she stubbornly bit her lip, trying to glare angrily at Jun An.

Finally, deciding that turning around to glare was too much trouble, she simply grabbed her brother's bullying hand and bit down hard on his forearm.

This bite was a real one, making Jun An's face twist. Unlike the feigned cry of pain from before, this time he was truly hurting, so much so that he didn't dare make a sound.

After all, it seemed he had really gone too far. Bronya didn't know about his relationship with Theresa and thought she was about to lose all face, hence her deep sense of grievance.

"You two... sigh."

Theresa watched the two, their expressions constantly changing, and roughly understood what had happened.

The Captain had loved to bully people since he was young. This time, he probably really pushed Bronya too far, so Bronya decided to follow Bronya's example and throw face to the wind, directly sinking her good teeth into the Captain.

"Theresa, I want to sell Soulium. We'll talk details later."

"Oh, got it. You'd better console Bronya properly."

Theresa's mind also worked quickly. It wasn't the first time the Captain had bullied Bronya, nor was it the first time Bronya had used the Herrscher of Reason's power to provide Soulium to Schicksal. It wasn't strange for these two to get together and for these two things to happen.

But Theresa thought for a moment, then a slight blush appeared on her cute face. She said, "Next time we talk in detail, let's not do it over the phone. I'll have Sirin come find you."

Although Theresa was already in her forties, approaching fifty, she didn't have Himeko's rich experience in "self-entertainment." She had been quite pent-up this past month.

As Theresa thought of this, her legs couldn't help but squirm, her eyes sending suggestive glances towards the Captain. "Captain, you will come, right?"

"Mhm, OK!"

Jun An put the phone aside, looking at Bronya who had sulked off to a corner by herself, his eyes showing apology towards Theresa. "Sorry, I have to coax Bronya first."

As Jun An spoke, he silently undid his belt.

Seeing Jun An agree so readily, Theresa was also in a very good mood, feeling sweet inside. "Okay, then when will you come? I'll make time for you."

As the Overseer of Schicksal, even though many affairs could now be handled by Amber and the Herrscher of Corruption, there were still many things that Theresa had to personally attend to.

For example, the Mars exploration plan, which was currently causing the biggest uproar between the Anti-Entropy branch and the board of directors, required a decision from Theresa, the Overseer of Schicksal.

There were many similar matters. Because Theresa wanted to have some "intimate financial exchanges" with the Captain, "I'll test your length, he'll test my depth" kind of things, Theresa had to specifically carve out time.

Therefore, to this day, Theresa still hadn't figured out how her grandfather managed to find time to create a large-scale game like Kallen Fantasy amidst such busy official duties.

"Let's make it tonight."

Jun An said, then "readied his spear" to properly console Bronya. "If there's nothing else, I'll hang up."
