Chapter 106 - Chapter 106: Coralie

To comfort the enraged Bronya, Jun An, despite his aching loins, wanted to pour out his very essence.

But Bronya was, without a doubt, still fuming. With an angry expression, she refused to let Jun An approach, offering him only the sight of her small, turned back.

This wasn't the first time Jun An had angered Bronya, so naturally, he knew how to appease her. He immediately pressed her down onto the ground, seizing her struggling, lotus-root-like arms, forcing her to face him.

"Get lost!"

Bronya, seeing the Captain's ferocious weapon, wanted to kick it away. Ultimately, however, she couldn't bring herself to do it, merely turning her face aside, unwilling to look at this wicked older brother who bullied her.

However, the thick-skinned Jun An naturally paid her no heed.

Unwilling?

Did she think she wouldn't get fucked just because she was unwilling?

As if completely unconcerned by her mood, Jun An pried her legs apart. Bronya's strength was, of course, no match for a statistical monster like Jun An, and the Captain soon breached her defenses.

Bronya still wore an expression of anger and reluctance.

I mustn't yield!

If I yield, he'll definitely take a mile for every inch I give!

Although he had already taken more than a mile, this was a matter of principle!

Bronya was furious. He had made her lose face in front of the Headmaster; how could she possibly let the Captain console her with a mere thrust of his rod?

Seeing Bronya's disgusted and unwilling expression, it was as if a new world had opened up for the Captain. The peach-blossom path, only recently trod, instantly became even more arduous to navigate.

Though Bronya was utterly unwilling, her body was brutally honest. Every time he knocked at the gate, she would respond with a soft "Mm," albeit through gritted teeth.

Soon, Bronya's resolute attitude crumbled. There was no helping it; the Captain was simply giving too much.

Bronya lay on the sofa, afraid even to open her mouth to breathe lest her brother seize the opportunity for a sneak attack, yet she no longer had the strength to concern herself with him.

Only when she saw her brother finally move his face away from hers and head for a shower did she allow herself to rest, relieved.

But deep down, Bronya remained stubborn. This wasn't her succumbing to the lewd tyranny of his rod; it was merely because she still had work to do and thus had to dismiss this unscrupulous older brother.

With such thoughts, Bronya was carried princess-style by Jun An to the bathroom.

Bronya couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. It was finally over...

However, she hadn't anticipated her brother being such a stickler for cleanliness. He showered for a full half-hour, and for that entire half-hour, she was forced to lean against the door, "wiping the glass."

Jun An meticulously tied the belt of his trousers, gazing at Bronya's frail and pitiable form on the clean sheets, looking as though she had been ravished by someone – which, admittedly, was true.

For such a pitifully beautiful girl, if he hadn't been the culprit himself, Jun An would most likely have snapped a few photos.

"I can forgive Brother..."

Bronya spoke, her voice soft and delicate, yet brooking no argument, "But you must take responsibility for buying me a new sofa, bedding, and sheets. Brother, you got them all wet. You have to deliver them personally."

"Where did I get them wet!"

Jun An instantly looked aggrieved. "I delivered every drop properly inside, not a single bit leaked out, alright? You're clearly the one who got them wet!"

However, the clowning Jun An was met with a glare from his younger sister, and he had no choice but to reluctantly concede.

"Alright, alright. I'll bring you a new set next time I visit."

Jun An stopped his antics, gently stroking his younger sister's smooth, spiral-shaped hair. "Do you have anything else you need to do?"

"...No."

Bronya said faintly, "If I had to say, I hope Brother can help me find a coolie, or quickly learn computer technology to give me a hand."

Bronya's computer skills were largely self-taught, and she had since surpassed many. While Jun An knew a little, he was far from the level required for game development.

But Jun An could learn. For someone like him, possessing the Herrscher of Sentience's abilities, allowing him to effortlessly memorize anything he saw and read others' memories, it wasn't difficult. He could simply casually peruse Bronya's memories.

As for creativity, the current consensus regarding Jun An's creativity was: don't create. It was too detrimental to interpersonal harmony.

"Mm, I'll try to find someone."

Jun An nodded, casually agreeing. He then made a mental note to have the Herrscher of Corruption investigate where Heavy Bunny had slacked off to. The Salt Snow Holy City incident had concluded half a month ago; why hadn't it returned to be Bronya's coolie yet?

After bidding Bronya farewell, Jun An first returned to his own room. Since the appointed day with Theresa was still some time away, Jun An planned to first head back to the Far East Branch for a look around, check on Helia's training progress, and such. In any case, he had already obtained the Core of Reason, so he was relatively unoccupied.

The Far East Branch was the same as ever. Since it was working hours, almost everyone was at their posts. The Valkyries were either undergoing combat training at St. Freya Academy or discussing where to go for fun on their day off.

Just as Jun An was wandering aimlessly, he spotted a swaying dog tail. She was walking while playing a game console.

Coralie?

Jun An looked at her, and an idea instantly formed. He immediately went up to strike a conversation.

"Excuse me, Valkyrie big sister."

However, the other party didn't respond.

Jun An moved closer again and continued, "Excuse me, doggy big sister, could I ask for directions?"

Coralie's dog ears twitched slightly. She finally understood he was calling her but didn't immediately look up. "Wait a sec, let me save my game."

She manually saved her progress, then looked at the delicate-featured child before her, who was even slightly shorter than herself. Her brow furrowed noticeably as she pointed to a spot. "The security office is over there. You can go there to find your mom."

"No, my mom is working. I'm here to find Big Sister Helia."

Jun An, feeling no psychological pressure, played the part of a child. "Do you know where Big Sister Helia is?"

"Helia? You're her younger brother?" Coralie scrutinized the red-haired youth before her. "Your genes don't look alike at all."

"I'm her friend."

Jun An said, "You do know Big Sister Helia, right? Can you take me to see her? This place is too big, I'm afraid I'll get lost."

"..."

Coralie stared at Jun An for a moment, seemingly contemplating, then put away her game console with a sigh of resignation. "Alright, I'll take you. Stay close. I don't want to spend more time looking for you if you wander off later."

"Okay!"

Jun An nodded and followed behind Coralie, sizing her up.

Coralie was petite; only with her two dog ears did she manage to be slightly taller than the de-aged Jun An. Her tail swayed with her steps, her face was rounder than Bronya's, and she wore a few non-mainstream accessories, like a rebellious teenager.

Overall, she had a rather cute appearance, a very rare beast-eared girl, a type not present in Jun An's harem.

"What do you want with Helia?"

While Jun An was observing her, Coralie was also secretly appraising Jun An: red hair, golden eyes, a cute face with a handsome, well-behaved air, following her like a little attendant.

Coralie didn't know why, but she felt this youth's temperament was almost the best she had seen among all children.

Jun An replied casually, "I'm just curious. I wanted to come and see how Big Sister Helia is doing."

Coralie nodded. There were many parents like Jun An, curious about their family members' lives at St. Freya Academy and deliberately coming to check, but usually, they wouldn't be allowed in. After all, it was a military academy and had a certain level of confidentiality.

But since Jun An could get in, his family probably included some high-ranking leader. Letting him see some mechs and Valkyries wouldn't be an issue; he was just a child, not even qualified to be sentenced for a crime.

"That blockhead Helia is probably still at the training grounds."

When Coralie spoke of Helia, her expression twitched slightly with displeasure; she and Helia didn't get along well.

Then, she quickly added, "You absolutely must not learn from your sister. She's so rigid."

Jun An nodded, chatting idly with Coralie. Talking with Coralie was interesting; one always had to find topics, and she was even particularly good with memes, no worse than chatting with Bronya.

But Jun An also quickly noticed a phenomenon: Coralie didn't seem to have any friends. The surrounding Valkyries actively kept a distance from her.

That avoidance was very deliberate. Although the Valkyries tried to hide it and didn't say anything verbally, the way they looked at Coralie wasn't right.

"Why are they avoiding you?" Jun An asked directly.

Coralie twitched her tail, her face showing no emotion, but her eyes dimmed somewhat. "It's nothing. It's just that I look a little different. It's normal for people to instinctively fear the unknown."

Coralie was referring to her ears and tail. This kind of atavism was extremely rare; even Jun An had only encountered this one case so far.

Coralie's ancestors probably used the genes of a certain MANTIS when building civilization in the Previous Era, hence why she now had dog ears and a tail.

Jun An thought for a moment. "But being treated coldly doesn't feel good, does it?"

Coralie looked at Jun An with some surprise, then shook her head. "I don't really care what others think."

"But ultimately, it's still unpleasant."

Jun An looked at the young girl before him. Although he knew this didn't even count as severe school bullying, and compared to what Mei had endured before the Third Great Honkai Eruption, it was just a drop in the bucket, Jun An still felt somewhat upset.

Back then, Mei had practically lost her reputation and was bullied in various ways by the people at Senba Academy daily: hiding her shoes from her shoe locker, writing abusive words on her desk with indelible markers, pouring sticky, foul-smelling wet garbage under her desk, sticking a "daughter of an embezzler" label on her back, and so on.

After Jun An found Mei, the children from prominent families in the area were mostly beaten up by Jun An and generally behaved themselves afterward, regardless of gender.

Of course, there were some who wanted to retaliate doubly later, but the consequences were even worse.

A young lady from Senba Academy called in local gangsters, wanting to capture Mei to threaten Jun An, even vowing to sell Mei to a red-light district.

Then, those gangsters had their arms broken and fingers severed by Jun An. Jun An, along with Mei, directly stormed the entire gang's headquarters, right up to the boss. As for the young lady who instigated the gangsters, Jun An took nude photos of her to threaten her and then gave her a beating.

That incident marked a turning point, and Mei's life became much better afterward.

Returning to the present, although Coralie's situation wasn't as bad as Mei's, and St. Freya Academy had the nature of a military school, so they wouldn't dare to do anything too excessive openly.

But this kind of cold indifference was ultimately a form of bullying. If not resolved early, it could worsen.

Given this shitty world view, Jun An wouldn't be surprised at any deterioration in the treatment the female protagonists might experience. Like Big Griseo; when Jun An went to save her, her mental world was on the verge of collapse.

If Jun An hadn't encountered the Herrscher of Sentience beforehand, he might not have been able to heal Griseo so quickly.

Having made up his mind, Jun An looked at Coralie. "As payment for Big Sister Coralie guiding me, I'll help you solve this matter."

People's prejudices aren't so easily changed... Coralie instinctively wanted to say that, but facing a child, she still instinctively wanted to be a good big sister.

Moreover, a warmth genuinely rose in her heart.

Coralie instantly felt that the kid before her was much more pleasing to the eye than Helia. She then nodded, "Okay."
