Chapter 305 - The Young Girl Videl (Part 2)

"It's over!"

"D-Damn it..."

Struck in the abdomen by Videl's punch, the bandit leader let out a miserable scream before collapsing to the ground in unwilling defeat.

With that, all the bandits had been subdued. Videl snorted lightly, clapped the dust off her hands, and turned to leave.

"Watch out, Miss Videl!"

"You damn woman, go to hell!"

She hadn't walked far when, unexpectedly, the fallen bandit leader struggled back to his feet. With a fierce glare, he raised an assault rifle and started firing at Videl.

Tatatatatata!!!!!!

Flames burst from the muzzle as a hail of bullets shot toward Videl. Her face turned pale.

"Damn it!!!"

At such close range, even she couldn't possibly dodge the gunfire!

The police officers nearby could already foresee the gruesome scene—Videl riddled with bullets, collapsing in a pool of blood. Helpless and horrified, they could do nothing but watch.

But then, something unbelievable happened—

The bullets flying toward Videl suddenly veered off course mid-air, all of them narrowly missing her!

"N-No way!!!"

The bandit leader's eyes nearly popped out of his skull, his face twisted in sheer disbelief.

Had the bullets grown eyes? How could they curve away on their own?!

Videl, breaking out in a cold sweat, finally regained her senses.

A sharp glint flashed in her eyes as she lunged forward and delivered another punch to the bandit leader's face.

With a miserable cry, his body was sent flying, crashing hard into a wall over ten meters away.

His body twitched a few times before he lost consciousness completely. Taking such a furious strike from Videl, whether he lived or not, he was certainly done for.

"Hah... hah..."

"Miss Videl, that was so dangerous just now! Are you alright?"

Panting in lingering fear, Videl was quickly surrounded by a group of concerned police officers.

"I-I'm fine. I'm okay."

Forcing a smile, Videl reassured them, but her gaze was darting around as if searching for something.

Just moments ago, she had sensed an incredibly powerful presence—the one who had redirected those bullets, saving her life. Yet, no matter how she searched, she couldn't find any trace of them.

"Already gone, huh..."

A trace of disappointment flickered in her heart. She had wanted to thank her savior, but since they had already left, there was nothing she could do.

Looking down at the scratch on her left arm, Videl smiled wryly.

With such power, that person could have easily deflected all the bullets. This must have been a deliberate reminder for her—not to be so careless in the future.

After a quick bandaging from the police medics, the police chief, having finished organizing the arrests, approached her—

"Miss Videl, thank you once again for helping us. Here is your reward."

He handed a stack of bills to Videl.

Videl, with her strong sense of justice, never liked taking money for fighting crime. However, she had no choice—right now, she was in dire need of money.

"Thank you, Chief. I'll gladly accept it."

Biting her lip, Videl bowed slightly before taking the payment.

"I have to get to school now, so I'll be leaving."

"Goodbye, everyone."

"Goodbye, Miss Videl. Please continue to help us in the future!"

After exchanging farewells, Videl took off into the sky heading toward school.

She had already been delayed too long. Hopefully, she wouldn't be late.

"Miss Videl is truly amazing. So young, yet she has become a powerful martial artist through sheer training. What a remarkable genius."

"Yeah, she's hardworking and cute. A rare combination."

"But... if only her father weren't that Mr. Satan..."

Watching Videl leave, the officers sighed with both admiration and regret.

"Hey, Yuujin, are you interested in that girl?"

High above the city, flying through the sky, Gokumi asked.

"Yeah, a little."

Yuujin didn't deny it.

The reason he had chosen to attend Orange Star High School was precisely because of Videl. He just hadn't expected to run into her this soon.

"Then why didn't you go down and introduce yourself? You already saved her once."

Gokumi was puzzled, but Yuujin simply smiled without answering.

Sure, the classic hero saves the beauty approach was effective—if he had revealed himself, Videl would definitely be grateful.

But that would be too boring.

For now, he preferred to keep a little mystery.

Once he got to school, he'd have plenty of opportunities to interact with her.

Orange Star High School – Principal's Office

Seated in the principal's chair, Yuujin had a serene expression, while Princess Snake, clad in a teacher's uniform, clung to his chest with a lovestruck gaze. Gokumi and Broly stood on either side of him.

Before coming here, Yuujin and the others had taken Goteno and Trunksia to West City. Meanwhile, Princess Snake had arrived at the school ahead of them and taken a position as a teacher.

The original principal of Orange Star High now stood respectfully in the office, his voice trembling with excitement—

"It is an immense honor to have Lord Kami and Lady Goddess grace our school!"

"Please wait a moment, my lord. I will immediately summon all students and faculty to welcome you!"

When the principal had been informed a few days ago by a group of powerful female warriors that Lord Kami and Lady Goddess would descend upon their school, he had been utterly shocked.

Then, as reality set in, he felt as though he had been struck by pure fortune.

My Kami! The great Lord Kami and Goddess are coming to our school! If this news got out, the world would go crazy!

Forget everything else—just their presence alone would instantly turn this school into one of the most famous institutions in the world! Countless outstanding young men and women would desperately try to enroll here!

"Principal, we have come to experience ordinary school life. We don't wish for our identities to be known."

Shaking his head, Yuujin spoke calmly.

"O-Of course! I won't reveal anything!"

Though disappointed, the principal dared not go against the will of the Kami. He nodded hastily.

Sensing his thoughts, Yuujin chuckled.

"You don't have to be so disheartened. Once we finish our school life here and leave, you can publicize it however you like."

"R-Really?"

"Thank you, Lord Kami!"

The principal was momentarily stunned, then overwhelmed with joy.

Though he couldn't announce their presence now, even after they left, just spreading the news that Lord Kami had once attended their school would make it world-famous!

"My subordinates should have already handled my enrollment."

"It's almost time for class. Principal, please take us to our assigned classroom."

"Of course! Please follow me, Lord Kami!"
