Chapter 304 - The Young Girl Videl (Part 1)

"Goteno, Trunksia!"

"Grandma, we missed you so much!"

In West City, Goteno and Trunksia threw themselves into Mrs. Brief's arms, while both she and Dr. Brief warmly welcomed them.

"Mother, Father, it's been a long time."

"Mm-hmm, Yuujin, we're so happy you all could come."

"Come, come, hurry inside."

Yuujin greeted Dr. and Mrs. Brief, who were naturally delighted and warmly ushered everyone into the house.

This time, Yuujin and the others had mainly come to drop off Goteno and Trunksia. For the next period, the two would be attending school in West City to experience the life of ordinary children, and during this time, they would be staying here.

Bulma had already arranged their school enrollment in advance. After resting for a night at the Brief residence, early the next morning, Goteno and Trunksia eagerly strapped on their small backpacks and prepared to go to school.

"Goteno, Trunksia, don't reveal your identities at school, and don't use your powers to bully other students, understood?"

"Yes…"

Yuujin gave Goteno and Trunksia a few words of advice, and the two little girls obediently agreed.

A luxurious car was already waiting outside. After waving goodbye to everyone, Goteno and Trunksia cheerfully hopped into the vehicle and headed to their school.

Watching Goteno and Trunksia leave, Yuujin turned to the Red Silk Girls standing behind him and instructed:

"Protect them well. Do not let them come to any harm."

"Yes!"

The Red Silk Girls saluted Yuujin before vanishing in an instant.

With Goteno and Trunksia's strength, their safety wasn't really a concern. However, since they had grown up in the temple, despite their intelligence, they were still too pure and innocent—easily deceived and taken advantage of. Yuujin was simply taking extra precautions.

As their father, Yuujin could never tolerate his two precious girls suffering any injustice or harm.

"Mother, Father, we must take our leave now. Please take care of Goteno and Trunksia."

"Don't worry, Yuujin, we'll take good care of them."

"You're always welcome here. Come visit when you have time."

"Of course, we will."

After saying farewell to Dr. and Mrs. Brief, Yuujin, Gokumi, and Broly all took off into the sky.

Since Goteno and Trunksia were going to school, they too had to head to their own academy.

Their destination was Orange Star High School in Orange Star City, which was more than a thousand kilometers away from West City. Even by aircraft, the journey would take several hours.

But for Yuujin and the others, that distance was nothing. Using [Bukujutsu], they arrived in mere minutes, taking their time to enjoy the scenery along the way. If they had wanted to, they could have traveled even faster.

Like any other metropolis, Orange Star City was a bustling and lively place.

Towering skyscrapers and throngs of people filled the streets.

Incidentally, Orange Star City was home to Mr. Satan. In the original Dragon Ball, Mr. Satan took credit for Gokumi and the others' defeat of Cell, becoming the so-called hero who saved the world. In his honor, the city was even renamed Satan City.

However, in this world, Mr. Satan had become the "Arrogant Satan" and was no hero who saved the world. Naturally, the city hadn't been renamed for him.

After briefly surveying the city's surroundings, Yuujin was about to take Gokumi and Broly to school when a sudden commotion erupted below—

Bang! Bang!! Bang, bang, bang!!!

"Robbery! Hand over all your money!"

"Aaaahhh…!"

A group of armed criminals stormed a bank, sending civilians fleeing in terror. Two security guards who attempted to resist were brutally gunned down.

"Yuujin, Yuujin, there are bad guys down there!"

"Bad guys. Eliminate."

Gokumi pointed downward, and beside her, Broly formed a ki blast, preparing to hurl it down.

Startled, Yuujin quickly grabbed Broly's hand.

If she actually threw that ki blast, those criminals would be eliminated, but so would the entire city!

"We don't need to intervene. The police are already here."

As Yuujin spoke, the police indeed arrived, surrounding the entire bank.

"This is the police! You are completely surrounded! Drop your weapons and surrender immediately!"

A police chief shouted through a megaphone, while officers took cover and prepared to engage.

"Boss, we're surrounded by the cops!"

"So what? They're just a bunch of cops—fire at them!"

"Got it!"

Recklessly aggressive, the criminals stormed out of the bank, firing wildly at the police. The officers took cover and fired back, launching a heated gunfight.

To most, this might have been an intense and thrilling standoff, but to Yuujin and the others, it was nothing more than child's play.

"Yuujin, should we help?"

Seeing the officers struggling to subdue the criminals—some of whom were already injured—Gokumi couldn't help but ask.

Yuujin was about to agree, but then he noticed something and suddenly smiled, shaking his head.

"No need. Someone else is stepping in."

Gokumi and Broly followed Yuujin's gaze and saw a figure rapidly approaching.

It was a teenage girl, around sixteen or seventeen years old, with remarkable agility. She leaped from building to building before landing in the middle of the firefight between the police and criminals.

"It's Miss Videl! Miss Videl is here!"

Seeing the approaching girl, one of the officers exclaimed in relief.

"Chief, what's the situation?"

Scanning the scene, the girl—Videl—walked up to the police chief.

"The criminals have taken over the bank and are holding several hostages."

"Miss Videl, we're counting on you again."

After briefing her on the situation, the police chief said.

"Leave it to me."

Videl nodded and, without further words, sprang into action, leaping toward the criminals.

Like a swift and agile panther, she moved with incredible speed, knocking one criminal to the ground with a single punch.

"What?!"

"A martial artist—she's a martial artist!"

"Damn it!!!"

"Kill her! Take her down!"

The criminals were shocked to see their comrade taken down so effortlessly—only a monstrous martial artist could do such a thing.

Enraged, they all turned their guns on Videl and opened fire.

With a scoff, Videl dashed through the battlefield, effortlessly dodging the incoming bullets.

Though she had trained on her own and was nowhere near the level of true martial arts masters, dealing with a few common criminals was no problem for her.

Punches, kicks, and fluid evasions—one after another, the criminals were swiftly knocked down. The remaining officers moved in to arrest them.
