Heavenly Void Palace?
Lin Moyu immediately thought of the palace he had once seen. Back when he was merging Small Spirit Domains and collecting large amounts of innate void treasures, he'd triggered some mechanism and caught a glimpse of a palace. He remembered that palace had exploded, with many things flying out from it. Unfortunately, the scene was too brief to see clearly. He never saw it again could that palace have been the Heavenly Void Palace?
The Redstone Emperor said, "The existence of the Heavenly Void Palace is legendary throughout the entire Soul Void, including among us Emperors.
"We aren't certain it truly exists, but we believe it does. We even believe it's the origin of the Soul Void itself.
"It's a strange feeling if it were just me, it wouldn't mean much. But when several Emperors all believe it, it's probably true."
The Redstone Emperor had no proof of the Heavenly Void Palace's existence, but he believed in it. The information came from the soul itself, and for him, that was enough.
Lin Moyu pondered for a moment but found no answers, so he let it go. There was too little information to be worth further thought anything more would just be a waste of time. If it truly existed, he would see it one day; there was no need to rush.
A world appeared in his field of vision, with dozens of Dao Lords already standing guard outside. This world was not weak stronger than those he'd destroyed before.
Lin Moyu smiled, "I've refined a few worlds. Senior, do you think that's inappropriate?"
The Redstone Emperor replied softly, "As you wish."
The role of an Emperor was to maintain the stability of the Great Spirit Domain. As long as that wasn't disrupted, they generally wouldn't interfere. The number of worlds in a Great Spirit Domain didn't matter; the birth and death of worlds was never their concern.
With a wave of his hand, Lin Moyu sent his undead army surging in like a natural disaster.
The Redstone Emperor didn't even bother to look. Such battles were nothing in his eyes. He was far more interested in talking with Lin Moyu. The realm Lin Moyu had displayed had completely earned his recognition and changed some of his old views.
The Redstone Emperor asked, "Lin Friend, did you return to the Redstone Great Spirit Domain for something specific this time?"
Lin Moyu smiled, "One of my secret arts needs to refine worlds to grow stronger. Since the Alien Alliance is an enemy of humanity, I'll use them to cultivate my art."
The Redstone Emperor nodded. "For such ants to become your stepping stone is their honor. But Lin Friend, be careful of karmic entanglements and the resentment of all living beings. Sometimes, the rules of heaven and earth can be troublesome."
He regarded all living things as ants, but he certainly had the qualifications to do so.
Lin Moyu had anticipated this answer. "I'm prepared. Karma won't fall on me. To be honest, Senior, I also wanted to ask you for some Redstone."
The Redstone Emperor said, "Redstone is rare, but I can spare a piece or two. If you're not in a hurry, come to the domain center when you're done here."
Lin Moyu replied, "No rush. One thing at a time when I'm finished here, I'll come."
The Redstone Emperor said, "The two Great Dao Lords of the Alien Alliance already have their eyes on you. Do you need me to deal with them?"
Lin Moyu shook his head with a smile. "No need. Great Dao Lords are troublesome to kill, but driving them off is no problem."
Seeing Lin Moyu's confidence, the Redstone Emperor said no more. They continued discussing the world and that mysterious realm. The Redstone Emperor knew Lin Moyu had entered that realm more than once and must have gained some insights. Lin Moyu did not hide what he'd learned, and the Redstone Emperor would analyze it, offering even more subtle perspectives things Lin Moyu hadn't considered. Though not a cultivator, the Redstone Emperor's countless years gave him deep understanding of the Great Dao. Likewise, he learned new things from Lin Moyu, which were important to him as well. Both sides benefited a true win win.
For an ordinary Dao Lord to sit and discuss the Dao with an Emperor would seem absurd to others, but Lin Moyu was doing just that.
As they happily discussed the Dao, the not so weak world was completely destroyed. Lin Moyu entered to refine it, while the Redstone Emperor did not. He explained that if he entered, the world would collapse and he'd be punished. It would be less punishment to just destroy it directly. Such odd rules of heaven and earth made Lin Moyu laugh same result, different consequences.
The world was gradually refined by the World Burning Fire. Though the Redstone Emperor didn't enter, he could sense the extraordinary nature of the fire. When Lin Moyu returned, the Redstone Emperor said gravely, "Lin Friend, I can sense a threat from your art if it grows stronger, it might even burn me to death."
Lin Moyu joked, "You're an Emperor you won't die easily, just fall dormant at most."
The Redstone Emperor shook his head. "That's just my feeling. Your fire might really be able to kill an Emperor."
Lin Moyu frowned. If the World Burning Fire could burn an Emperor, could it also kill an Eternal like the Human Sovereign? Even if not, it could at least force them into dormancy.
Could the World Burning Fire really be that strong? Who was the mysterious master of that great world who left him such a powerful fire? Now that he thought about it, no one had ever truly recognized the World Burning Fire, suggesting it was extremely rare perhaps as unique as the Immortality Great Dao, one of a kind in all of heaven and earth.
The Immortality Great Dao, the World Burning Fire, the Catastrophic Scepter from Great Dao to strange fire to treasure, how did all these unique things end up with him? Lin Moyu felt a strange sense of mystery.
The World Burning Fire burned for over a month, and Lin Moyu and the Redstone Emperor discussed the Dao for just as long. When the world was finally refined, their discussion ended. The Redstone Emperor took his leave, giving Lin Moyu a small stone by which he could find him. The Emperor's true body was busy, so if Lin Moyu wanted Redstone, he'd have to seek him out.
After the Redstone Emperor left, Lin Moyu chuckled. "The Emperor's gone how long do you plan to keep hiding?"
His voice echoed across the void for thousands of miles. After a few breaths, a black shadow appeared. "For the Redstone Emperor's sake, if you stop now, I'll let bygones be bygones."
Lin Moyu laughed, "Stopping is impossible unless you kill me."
The shadow fell silent, then said, "This is your last chance. If you don't stop, I will kill you!" With that, the shadow vanished, and Lin Moyu's laugh, full of mockery, echoed in the air.
