[Chapter Size: 1900 Words.]
Third Person POV
Hogwarts.
...
...
Months had passed since the event that took place in the Muggle city, and chaos had taken hold of England with force, making international headlines and worrying wizarding and non-wizarding governments all over the world.
A new minister had taken the place of Eugenia Jenkins, the former Minister of Magic. His name is Cassius Travers, from one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight.
Voldemort had been silent, and there had been no attacks from the Death Eaters, but even so, everyone was afraid because the threat had never truly disappeared and He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named seemed to just be waiting for the right moment.
The same could be said of the man known as the second Dark Lord, who had been keeping a lower profile, but reports of homes being invaded by shadow creatures continued throughout England.
No one knew exactly how he was acting, but the reports continued as they began to mention the targets of this second Dark Lord—magical portraits.
Somehow, he was searching all magical places in England looking for them, whether family portraits or common ones. The sales of magical paintings became chaotic from this point on, with magical painters falling into a bad situation as people began avoiding commissioning artwork due to the threat of magical creatures invading their homes.
In any case, the Ministry began a mass recruitment of Aurors. Although they had always been elite wizards trained to combat dark wizards in the magical world, they had to lower some of their high requirements in order to further increase the number of law enforcers in England.
At least more than two hundred Aurors had been recruited since the new minister took office, and it didn't seem like that was going to stop—everything in an effort to try to catch the man who had been invading homes. Now more discreetly, but still entering properties—whether those of nobles or even of common wizards. Or to face another attack from You-Know-Who and his followers.
The situation had reached a point where even Seers were being sought out across the country and the world. Some claimed things that the Daily Prophet published as absurdities.
Some said that the Second Dark Lord is not in this dimension and comes only to cause chaos.
Others said, "He will plunge the world into darkness, being far more dangerous than Lord Voldemort."
This was also a major blow against the reputation of the first of the Dark Lords. At the same time...
Some still claimed, "The entire world will have a war in the future, and the Second Dark Lord will be at the center of this battle of chaos."
There was a Seer who was sought in Central Asia, where she claimed that the Second Dark Wizard is a student at a school.
Which was taken as a great absurdity by the public.
Even so, everyone in the magical world here on Earth was placing their faith in the new minister, hoping to put an end to the activities of the Second Dark Lord in the country. Meanwhile, the Second Dark Lord remained mysterious with his magical creatures. At the same time, many questioned:
Whose was that Patronus specter?
The Ministry only said they didn't know, leaving the situation very open to interpretation.
At the same time, there was a certain dissociation from You-Know-Who. Due to his defeat—which many claimed he had suffered at the hands of the Second Dark Lord—he began to lose support, and some pure-blood families started to distance themselves from him, even encouraging many to break ties. Meanwhile, others still continued to declare their loyalty to the ideology and sympathize with it.
The families harmed in the attack on the city, for the most part, had lost great power — some even lost their patriarch. As in the case of the Malfoy family, in which the only survivor now was Lucius Malfoy, a young man who had to lead the family after his father's death.
Meanwhile, the Muggle world was still in chaos: questions, protests, claims that there was someone behind an invisible world. For most Muggles, it was clear that something was being hidden — people dealing with powers that most humans didn't have, creating a separate world.
Speculations and theories about the magical world began to emerge, claiming they were the ones responsible for what happened to the Muggle city when it was attacked, since they couldn't hide the testimonies of the people who survived the attack. These witnesses saw their family and friends dying in front of them, being devoured or cruelly tortured, and even with the spells used to confuse their minds, they didn't always work.
Meanwhile, the shadow creatures had killed the aggressors, but they weren't exactly the ideal saviors for most. In fact, they left everyone even more afraid.
As for Snape, he couldn't complain. Even though the wizarding world was aware that the shop belonged to him — or rather, to the Second Dark Lord — the Ministry couldn't do anything. When they tried something, the goblins of Gringotts stated that they fully supported that client, as he hadn't broken any commercial law and even threatened to cut off some access to vaults, which made the Ministry quite cautious.
Many wizards protested against the store, starting to try to boycott it, but even so, sales were very good, due to the quality of the potions, considering him even the greatest alchemist in England at that moment.
At the same time, Snape decided to create a scarecrow: a new store, with a new name, beginning to spread throughout England with the profits and more investments that the Gringotts goblins gave him due to his success.
Quickly, they began to split the public. Although the potions were not of the highest quality, still, Snape put other shadow wizards to create them in the Room of Requirement itself, not putting his identity on the potions he no longer even created, while leaving Kargalgan and the first shadow wizards still in the main store.
In any case, this was very good for his business, expanding, while people, afraid to buy from his store due to fear of his powers, went to buy from the shops no one knew were his, with the goblins claiming they themselves were expanding the business of a foreign investor, but with legal approval that it would remain anonymous.
Snape still had a lot of investment money to pay off, but that didn't stop him from being satisfied with his profits, which increased after he created more than twelve stores spread across England. He was already planning to expand them outside the country.
He also didn't just look to the magical world, but began expanding his money into Muggle tech companies, investing in stocks that were just starting on the market, but in which he could see great potential. He even founded a tech company on the side with no activity yet. It was time to put his knowledge, which he had as a guardian, into technology — precisely to accelerate the technological evolution of that world.
But this was something that required a meeting outside the country, and especially outside the school. Therefore, he would have to wait until the end of classes. After all, he still had a commitment to the school, now that the holidays were approaching.
He was arranging his things in the Room of Requirement at that moment, while he had a bag by his side and wore clothes he had ordered — well-finished — that he had bought last year in the best possible way for this trip.
And meanwhile, he turned to Dobby, waiting in the middle of the Room of Requirement.
"I want you to take care of Atlas, his companion, and also of Shadow for the next two months. You won't be able to reach me while I'm out of the country, but I believe everything will be fine and you're at Hogwarts." Snape said.
"Yes, sir Snape! I'll take care of everything, I promise!" Dobby said with excitement, while Snape merely nodded.
"Anyway, I'm off. Goodbye, Dobby. Well, I wish you good luck. And tell your father and the other elves I said goodbye." Snape said, beginning to leave with a teleport.
"Alright. I wish you good luck, sir Snape! Tell Miss Pandora, Miss Clarisse, and Miss Rosária good luck for me too!" he said cheerfully, as Snape disappeared.
He appeared in some corridor and continued walking through the school, carrying his bag, while some students watched him with great interest.
"You scare me, Snape, but win the tournament for us!" A Hufflepuff student shouted and ran, while Snape looked at him and nodded.
"Good luck, man! You're the best we've got!" Another student said, and he was surprised by that, since it was a Slytherin student — especially him, who didn't have a very good reputation at the school. But things had eased up quite a bit with him not beating anyone up this year, after all, no one really tried to pick a petty fight with him.
Time continued to move forward outside, when he found Rosária with her arms crossed near the entrance.
"For a moment, I thought you weren't coming, Snape." She commented with a smile.
"Let's go." He said simply.
She nodded, and they both headed outside, where they found Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick, and Professor Longbottom organizing a large group of 30 students from the last 3 years and a few from smaller years — at least thirty of them gathered, talking.
"Ah, there you are! Come, Mr. Snape. Let's take a picture to keep as a memory of this expedition. I'm sure we'll come back with the trophy for the castle!" Professor Flitwick said to Snape.
With no choice, Snape nodded and positioned himself in the middle of the group, while looking at the camera beside the professors. Among the students, he felt Lily Evans beside him.
He could see her, seemingly reacting to his proximity, due to the potion he still hadn't managed to create the counter for — the love potion. However, it was almost ready now — just a few ingredients were missing that he hadn't had time to look for, due to being busy as a businessman and a wizard.
However, on this trip he would make to Scotland, he would have everything to finally get the girl out of that situation.
"Very well!" Professor Flitwick clapped as soon as the photo was taken.
"Now let's go! Let's get to the carriages and catch the train. We'll travel directly to London, where we'll take the Floo Powder and go straight to Scotland. We'll challenge the magic school of Scotland along with the other schools that will also participate!" Flitwick seemed more excited as everyone got ready.
Snape, unsurprisingly, got a carriage with Clarisse, Pandora, and Rosária, and so they began heading to the train, before returning to London. The school couldn't spend directly on Floo Powder, as it was a rather expensive product for travel.
And so they proceeded to go to the Dueling Tournament in Scotland.

I've been planning this tournament since I wrote the tournament class in the first year Snape transferred, and now we're finally having it. But it will be quick.
