Chapter 36 - Chapter 36: Craving Both the Body and the House

Claire Green leaned against the wall and hearing this, she cleared her throat somewhat unnaturally, "Misunderstanding."

Julian Sia's eyes glimmered with laughter, and his slender fingers scratched her chin as he spoke nonchalantly.

"Oh, is that so? Then tell me, what kind of misunderstanding makes you, Claire, crave my body for so long?"

Claire Green's eyelashes fluttered, her hands hanging by her sides shifted slightly.

"Not craving."

The girl's voice was very light, like a cat's paw scratching at one's heart, tickling.

Upon hearing this, Julian Sia's fingers moved once more.

"So it's just a fantasy then?"

The man curled his thin red lips, his tone lazy and teasing, unable to hide his playful banter.

"..."

Claire Green felt her chin, where he had scratched, burning like fire, and couldn't help but raise her hand to touch it.

Julian Sia, seeing the girl's silence, slowly leaned in, so close that turning their heads slightly could lead to a kiss.

Their breaths fell on each other's faces, Claire Green quietly watched the man, just to see the man's lips slowly curve upward, causing her heart to skip a beat.

As expected.

The man slightly tilted his head, his lips coming close to her ear.

Then, the man's low and alluring panting sound slowly became audible.

In that moment, Claire Green's mind went blank, her nose filled with the man's pine scent, and the panting by her ear continued.

Julian Sia straightened up and saw her dazed expression, he raised his hand and tapped her head.

"Claire, were you satisfied with the panting just now? Is it what you imagined?"

Claire Green came back to her senses just in time to hear his tactless remarks and pulled her lips, letting out a light laugh.

"Try harder, big brother!"

Upon hearing this.

Julian Sia's gaze was nonchalant and easygoing, his words bold and unrestrained, with no attempt to hide his meaning.

"For Claire, big brother will make an effort."

Claire Green's eyes lifted, her lips curled.

She really had met her match.

...

Charles Jordan walked in with something in hand, just to see the two of them sitting on the couch like big shots, but whether it was an illusion or not, he couldn't help feeling the atmosphere was a bit subtle.

"Mr. Sia, here's the key and property transfer papers."

Saying so, he handed over the items in his hand.

Julian Sia accepted them with a soft "hmm," and casually handed them to the person beside him.

Seeing the items before her, Claire Green narrowed her eyes, not taking them, "For me?"

Julian Sia smirked, "You won, Claire, so it's yours."

Claire Green's eyes glinted, staring fixedly at him, a faint smile playing on her lips.

"To be honest, I prefer brother's place in Berlin."

The girl's cool voice carried a hint of nonchalance.

Julian Sia's gaze paused, laughing softly with a complex meaning, his lips curling up, "I didn't expect Claire to not only covet my body but also my property."

After the words fell.

Claire Green saw Charles Jordan's face change immediately, his pupils dilated, looking utterly shocked.

Unable to help it, she covered her forehead and laughed; there was no getting past this hurdle.

Charles Jordan was utterly stunned, never expecting Mr. Sia to say such things, and even more shocked that Miss Green was such a person.

Julian Sia's dark pupils stared intently at her, suddenly his thin lips curved, "Claire, why so silent?"

Claire Green's eyelids twitched slightly, she countered, "What does brother want me to say?"

Her tone was light and casual, her gaze indifferent.

Seeing this, Julian Sia didn't tease her anymore and then looked over at the person standing to the side.

"Sell the property and give the money to Claire."

Charles Jordan nodded, holding the items, and left.

Claire Green idly watched the man, speaking with a half-smile, "Brother planning to keep me?"

Upon hearing, Julian Sia's throat bobbed, letting out a magnetic laugh, "Claire, your thoughts are dangerous."

Afterwards, he extended his hand toward her.

Seeing the well-proportioned hand in front of her, she raised an eyebrow, what's the meaning?

"Give me your phone," Julian Sia said simply and directly.

Claire Green glanced at him and then threw her phone over.

Julian Sia opened the phone, saving both his number and WeChat, satisfaction in his eyes.

The phone returned to her hands, Claire Green opened it to find a contact named 'brother', even in WeChat.

Seeing the information on her phone, Claire Green chuckled slowly.

"Brother truly is proactive."

Julian Sia chuckled silently, patting her head, he got up and left.

...

In the afternoon, at Holywood Mansion.

Claire Green came out of a store carrying a bag of candy, suddenly her phone rang.

Seeing the name on the screen, a fleeting cold light and annoyance flashed in her eyes.

This family insists on courting death, so idle, how about sending them a big gift to play with first?

She ignored the call, a cold smile curling at her lips, fingers tapping on her phone for a bit, then she tucked it back into her pocket, ready to leave.

Suddenly, something felt off, Claire Green looked down, locking eyes with a child about five years old.

The boy's face was round, his big black eyes stared unblinkingly at her, wearing dungarees with a white long-sleeved shirt, holding two balloons, lively and cute.

"Sister, this is for you," the boy grinned, finally catching her attention, handing over one of the balloons.

Since he was short, tiptoeing to give the balloon was indeed a bit comical.

Seeing him like this, the chill in Claire Green's eyes subsided, and her mood improved significantly.

She lazily bent down to take the balloon, her eyes glinting with a bit of mischief.

Seeing her take the balloon, the boy was even happier, but the happiness lasted only a second before she popped the balloon with a pinch.

The moment Claire Green popped the balloon, her eyes finally showed a smile, lips curling as she thought to tease the kid.

Unexpectedly, the boy, instead of being upset, looked excited, and next second, he stuffed the other balloon into her hand.

"Sister, pop it."

Claire Green's eyes quirked up slightly, and she decisively popped the balloon.

Seeing both balloons gone, the boy laughed even louder, "Sister, the balloons are gone."

Claire Green nodded, "So?"

The boy's eyes twinkled, gaze lingering on her hand, "Sister made the balloons disappear, so give me candy."

Hearing this, Claire Green paused for a moment, then smiled.

The kids these days are beginning to scam too?

Thinking this, Claire Green stood up, took the boy by the hand and walked into the store, patting his head, "Go pick one yourself."

The boy didn't hesitate, running straight to the biggest lollipop, "This one."

"Are you sure," Claire Green asked, though still paid and checked out.

Watching the boy eat the candy, Claire Green couldn't help but find it amusing, "Alright, time for you to head home."

Hearing this, the boy suddenly found the candy in his hand unsweet, his head tilting as mischievousness filled his eyes.

"I don't know where home is, I'll just follow sister."

As he said that.

Claire Green gave him a look, then scanned around at the people who kept glancing over, a smile laced with intrigue adorned her brow, she wasn't planning to expose it yet.

At this time, her phone buzzed, she took it out to see a WeChat message from the contact named brother.

[Claire, where are you?]

With one hand, Claire replied, [Holywood Mansion.]

Then she glanced down at the boy she held, adding another line.

[Picked up a kid, by the way.]

Sia Group.

Julian Sia looked at the two messages on his phone, his brow furrowed.
