Chapter 35 - Chapter 35: Qiqi Slaps Her Love Rival

As the saying goes, speak of the devil and he shall appear, Claire Green's phone suddenly rang.

She glanced at the number, instinctively turned her head, and saw Julian Sia looking at her leisurely.

"Why isn't Claire answering?"

The man barely curled his lips, his voice calm and magnetic, as if asking casually.

Claire Green leaned back in the chair, lifted her eyelids, and casually turned off the phone. "It's just an unfamiliar number."

Julian Sia raised an eyebrow, his eyes obscure, and he said nonchalantly, "Is that so?"

Recalling similar situations before, Julian Sia unconsciously pursed his lips; the child's secrets seemed to be quite many.

Claire Green changed to a comfortable sitting position, crossing her hands on the table, appearing lazy and carefree.

Her beautiful cheeks bore a playful smile, her eyebrows and lips curling, "Does brother not believe me?"

"How could I not, I believe everything Claire says."

Julian Sia's voice sounded low and magnetic beside her ear, tinged with enchantment.

Andrew James and the others had been observing the situation here, and seeing the two like this, suddenly lost their appetite.

Mason Quinn concluded that going out with these two certainly meant no room for eating.

...

After dinner, Julian Sia and Claire Green returned to Berlin Residence in silence.

Upon entering, Claire Green intended to head upstairs without a thought, mainly because someone's expression was too dangerous now.

Just as she lifted her foot, she heard Julian Sia's low voice, "Claire, come here."

The man's voice was light, yet carried an unrefutable pressure.

Claire Green helplessly pinched her brow, turned around slowly, seeing the man sitting gracefully on the sofa, hands folded, with a seemingly smiling face that didn't reach his eyes, looking at her.

"Does brother still have business?" Claire Green leaned casually on the stair railing and asked.

Julian Sia squinted his eyes, "Let's talk about the issue with the speeding today."

Hearing this, Claire Green's eyes flashed with an unsurprising look.

"There's nothing much to talk about regarding that," her voice was very soft, and she was about to head upstairs after speaking.

Seeing her movement, Julian Sia frowned and strode forward, grabbing her wrist, looking intently at her.

After a pause, he spoke with helplessness in a deep voice, "Claire, if there had been the slightest mistake today, you'd be in the hospital now."

Claire Green lowered her eyes, looking at the white hand on her wrist, paused for a few seconds, her voice soft, "I don't do things I'm not confident in."

For a moment, the two just stared at each other.

Finally, Julian Sia capitulated, raised his hand to gently touch Claire Green's head, "Claire."

That 'Claire' from the man sounded like a lover's whisper, both seductive and teasing.

Claire Green looked at him, her red lips curling, "Be more careful next time."

Julian Sia pinched her hand, his smile finally reaching his eyes, "Go rest."

Watching her figure, Julian Sia repressed the irrationality in his heart, turned and left.

...

Early in the morning, Claire Green dialed a number, speaking coldly, "What is it?"

Benjamin Hanks, who had been on the phone all night, stood up instantly after receiving the call, his voice a bit aggrieved.

"Why did you turn off your phone? Do you know I've been calling you all night?"

Claire Green's eyes turned slightly red, filled with impatience, "Get to the point."

Benjamin Hanks pouted, thinking, can't she be a bit friendlier?

"Uh, my grandpa woke up."

"Oh, congratulations," Claire Green responded perfunctorily.

"He wants to see you," Benjamin Hanks thought of his grandpa pulling his ear, insisting he invite Emma White over to thank her in person, feeling speechless.

Emma White had received money for the job, what's there to thank?

On hearing, Claire Green refused, "No time."

Benjamin Hanks looked at the disconnected phone, his shoulders slumping down.

...

Suddenly, the doorbell rang, Claire Green raised an eyebrow, could it be Mason Quinn again?

She lazily walked over, opened the door, and saw a girl in a white dress, with bold makeup on her face, possibly thinking the door opened, and casually made a hair-flipping gesture.

Standing outside, Eva Goodman didn't expect the opener to be a girl, her expression stiffened, and after seeing the girl's face, jealousy appeared in her eyes.

"Who are you, why are you at Mr. Julian's house," she demanded.

Claire Green leaned lazily on the door frame, languidly lifting an eyelid, slowly retorted, "Why would you think a girl like me would be at his house?"

Understanding the implication, Eva Goodman's expression twisted for a moment, then returned to normal, "Mr. Julian wouldn't be interested in your type."

Saying this, she gave Claire Green a once-over from head to toe, feeling more confident in her statement.

Looks aren't everything, merely a shell; she was the Goodman heiress, with both money and looks.

Who would have known?

Claire Green's eyebrow raised slightly, a hint of red in her eyes, a faint smile at her lip's end, "Really? But last night he clearly said he very much liked my type."

Upon hearing this, Eva Goodman's anger exploded instantly, her heart filled with jealousy, she raised her hand intending to slap her.

Neither noticed the shadow at the top of the stairs.

Julian Sia had just exited his room when he heard sounds below, and walking to the stairs heard the girl's remark, paused, and couldn't help but chuckle.

Claire really dared to say anything.

Claire Green caught that hand, her eyes full of coldness.

She seemed like a predator, wanting to slowly kill her prey, she spoke softly, "His eight-pack abs and mermaid line, you haven't seen them, his vibrant strength, and magnetic breath, you will never experience."

With her wrist caught, Eva Goodman trembled with rage, "You shameless!"

"Why, are you angry," Claire Green's gaze was unreadable, her voice as cold as ice, "don't approach him again, or else."

The last sentence she whispered into Eva Goodman's ear, "I will destroy you."

Eva Goodman's body trembled, a chill rising from her feet to her whole body, knowing this girl wasn't joking.

Julian Sia saw Claire Green whisper something, scaring Eva Goodman until her face went pale and she trembled.

At this point, Eva Goodman caught sight of something like a lifesaver, shouting out without any courtesy.

"Mr. Julian, look, she's threatening me!"

Claire Green stiffened, feeling the movement behind her, lowering her eyes slightly, when did this man arrive, and how much did he hear?

Julian Sia walked closer, seeing the girl with lowered eyes, couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, wasn't she quite fierce just now?

Eva Goodman opened her mouth as he approached, "Mr. Julian, do you know the girl you brought back, she..."

Before she finished, she saw Julian Sia looking at her expressionlessly, "Get out."

Eva Goodman looked incredulous, tears welling in her eyes, turning she bumped into Mason Quinn, giving him a fierce glare before running off.

Mason Quinn didn't expect to hear such shocking news early in the morning, people were a bit stunned.

When he recovered, he was inexplicably glared at.

But that wasn't important, what was important was that Mr. Julian was such a beast.

"I never expected you to be this kind of Mr. Julian."

Just as he finished, he saw Julian Sia pull Claire Green over and casually shut the door.

Locked outside, Mason Quinn didn't care and went on frantically gossiping in the group chat.

.....

Julian Sia placed both hands against the wall, pinning the girl within his arms, speaking in a low voice, "I didn't expect Claire to so covet brother's body."
