Chapter 17 - Chapter 17: Heavenly Dao Group Takes Off and an Unexpected Visitor

After his meeting with Tong Yan, Chen Fan felt extremely satisfied. Although he wouldn't be writing articles directly, the media collaboration with Urban Economic News would be an incredibly crucial stepping stone for Heavenly Dao Group. His reputation, though just blossoming, would be greatly amplified.

That very afternoon, Chen Fan and Lin Yue were at the business registration office. All the procedures were completed astonishingly fast, perhaps partly due to Chen Fan's subtle "information control" and "system neutralization" abilities (though he only used a tiny bit of spiritual energy to expedite the paperwork).

In just a few hours, Heavenly Dao Group Joint Stock Company was officially established.

Lin Yue couldn't help but be stunned. Just yesterday, she was drowning in despair over her debts, and today, she was the manager of a brand-new company founded by her "hero." She looked at Chen Fan with deep admiration and gratitude.

"Brother Chen, where do we... where do we start?" Lin Yue asked, still a bit dazed.

Chen Fan smiled. "First, we need an office. Then, we'll recruit staff. The company's main focus will be digital asset management and AI development. You can start planning the recruitment process, prioritizing those with experience in IT and finance."

He handed Lin Yue a list of specific tasks and personnel requirements, including the attractive salaries he had pre-calculated. Lin Yue took it, her eyes lighting up with determination.

"I'll do my best, Brother Chen!"

"I trust you," Chen Fan nodded. "Oh, the initial capital for the company will be 300 million VND. Use that to rent an office, purchase equipment, and cover initial salaries." He had kept some money in his personal account for private investments and daily expenses.

With 300 million VND in capital, Lin Yue could certainly find a small but modern office in the city center.

In the following days, Chen Fan entrusted most of the company's establishment work to Lin Yue. She worked incredibly efficiently, which pleased him greatly. Meanwhile, Chen Fan spent his time cultivating, solidifying his Late Qi Refining cultivation, and delving deeper into future financial markets. He also continued to refine his trading algorithms to profit from the slightest fluctuations in currency and stock markets whenever capital was needed.

He also used this time to thoroughly examine the newly acquired Initial-Grade Heavenly Eye Technique. He experimented with its ability to see through objects, observing the detailed internal structures of things without touching them. This would be incredibly useful in many situations, from inspecting materials to detecting hidden items.

A week passed. Heavenly Dao Group had successfully rented an office in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, a prime location. Lin Yue had also recruited three skilled programmers and a young, enthusiastic financial specialist. Although still small in scale, the foundation was firmly laid.

One morning, as Chen Fan sat on his apartment balcony, sipping coffee and reading economic news, the doorbell suddenly rang.

Chen Fan's brows furrowed slightly. Who would be visiting at this hour?

He opened the door. Standing before him was a middle-aged man in a sharp black suit, his face stern. Behind him were two tall bodyguards.

"Hello, Mr. Chen Fan," the man said, his voice deep but carrying a subtle pressure. "I am Wang Gia Huy, Chairman of Wang Shi Group. It's an honor to meet you."

Chen Fan was momentarily startled. Wang Gia Huy! One of the most powerful tycoons in Vietnam, commanding immense wealth and vast connections. In his past life, he had only seen his name in newspapers. Why would such a figure seek him out?

"Ding! Detecting new target: Wang Gia Huy. An urban tycoon with immense potential. However, the spiritual qi around him shows signs of chaos, indicating he may be facing issues related to health or career."

Chen Fan smiled politely. "Hello, Chairman Wang. May I ask what brings you to visit personally?"

Wang Gia Huy offered a faint smile, his sharp eyes scrutinizing Chen Fan. "I've heard quite a lot about you recently, Mr. Chen. The one who issued the warning about Bank X, and who provided incredibly accurate analyses of the stock market. And even the Big Eagle incident. I'm very curious... Mr. Chen seems to be a rather mysterious figure."

He paused, his gaze fixed on Chen Fan, full of contemplation. "I have some matters... I'd like to consult with you, Mr. Chen."

Chen Fan knew. This was certainly not just a simple business matter. The chaotic spiritual qi around Wang Gia Huy indicated that his problem was far from ordinary. This could be a huge opportunity, or a significant trouble.

"Please, Chairman Wang, come in," Chen Fan said, calmly inviting his guests into his apartment. He was ready to face whatever was coming.
