The team turned to see Senior Kin approaching.
Senior Kin: "You guys ready for the tournament?"
Rudra: "Yes. Thanks to the elemental stones, all of us have reached the 6th Chakra Gate."
Senior Kin: "Good progress. Go register your team captain."
Gan Mu: "We were just about to."
They moved to the official registration area where the captains were being logged. Team 113 registered Gan Mu as their captain.
Tournament Announcement
Later, a master floated into the air, his voice echoing across the arena.
"The Freshers' Tournament will be held in two stages. Each class has 12 teams, split into three groups: A, B, and C.
Each group contains 4 teams.
Group Stage matches happen in separate arenas for each class, while semi-finals and finals will be held here in the main arena."
He continued,
"Day 1:
Each team battles within their group. Format: 1v1 solos – 3 members from each team, 3 rounds per match.
Each win = 5 points, Draw = 3 points, Loss = -3 points.
Day 2:
Group A winner fights Group C loser, Group C winner fights Group B loser, Group B winner fights Group A loser.
These are 2v2 and 3v3 matches.
Top 4 point-scoring teams advance to the semi-finals.
Matches start tomorrow!"

Rudra: "We'll hide our special moves—Clone Attack, Copy Attack, Healing, and Mist. Let's not reveal too much yet."
He paused.
Rudra: "Tomorrow, I'll fight their captain. Gouri, you'll handle their second strongest—likely another 6th gate.
Gan, I want you to stay hidden this round. Copy Gouri's attack and Sesh Pam's levitating stone technique. You can maintain three copied techniques for 30 minutes—plenty to dominate later matches."
Match Day – Group A Battles Begin
Class A teams gathered, excitement rising.
Master Sha Kun entered the arena as referee.
"Remember, no weapons allowed. Each round is 30 minutes.
Victory = 5 points, Draw = 3 points, Loss = -3 points. Each team plays one match today."
First Match: Team 119 vs Team 111

Shan cast Muddy Trap, turning the ground under Rudra's feet into a bog.
Then she charged with Wooden Arm, her arm transforming into a hammer.
Rudra calmly waited.
Just before impact, he activated Lightning Step—blinking into the air, breaking free.
Shan spun, looking for him—too late.
Zap! Lightning slashes struck her back.
Dazed, she turned—and found Rudra's glowing blade at her throat.
Rudra: "You lost."
Referee Sha Kun: "Rudra wins Round 1!"
In the Audience...
Captain of Team 103 watched closely.
"He's pretending to be exhausted…"
Teammate: "But he only used one attack?"
Captain: "Idiot. His elements—Fire and Lightning—are both weak against Earth. Escaping that trap must've drained him. He used all his spirit energy for one chance. He won with mind, not muscle."
The second round had begun.
Team 107's captain stepped into the battle arena with confidence, fire flickering in his eyes.
From the opposite gate, Gan Mu walked forward with calm steps and steady breath, her cold aura spreading with every move.
> **Ren (Team 107 Captain):** "I'm Ren, 6th Chakra Gate. Fire element."
> **Gan Mu (Team 113 Captain):** "Gan Mu. 6th Chakra Gate. Water element."
Master Sha Kun raised his hand.

She slashed toward Ren in a twin-bladed arc, but he dodged backward and shouted:
**"Fire Wrap!"**
Flaming threads shot from his body, wrapping around Gan Mu like constricting serpents.
She didn't panic.
> *"Time to end this,"* Ren muttered, gathering fiery spiritual energy in both hands.
His fingers elongated and burst into claws of fire—**Fire Claws**.
He dashed at full speed to finish the match.
Gan Mu only smiled.
> **Gan Mu:** "You're fast. But I've seen faster."
She mentally summoned **Levitating Ice Bricks**—a copied technique from Sesh Pam.
Three large ice blocks hovered around her. With a wave, she launched them.
Ren shattered the first one.
Crushed the second one.
The third slammed into him hard, knocking him backward.
Gan Mu sliced the Fire Wrap threads apart with her Water Blades and escaped the bind.

She rushed in again, blades flashing.
Ren stood firm, blocking each strike with his fiery claws. Sparks flew.
Both were pushed back.
Gan leapt into the air and unleashed **Water Slashes** from above.
Ren countered with **Fire Slashes**, igniting the air between them.
He roared and punched the ground, channeling more energy:
> **Ren:** "I can't lose... I WON'T LOSE TO HER!"
Gan Mu, calm yet focused, whispered in her mind:
> *"I don't have time to play anymore."*
Both began gathering immense spiritual energy for their final clash.
