INT. BEDROOM – LATE NIGHT
The storm outside has passed.
Now, only soft moonlight filters through the curtain, casting silver shadows across the room.
Mahi has fallen asleep, her head resting gently on Saif's chest, one hand still curled against his shirt like she doesn't want to let him go — not even in dreams.
Her breath is slow, steady… peaceful.
Saif doesn't move.
He just watches her — his arm around her protectively, his free hand brushing a strand of hair away from her face.
He studies her.
The rise and fall of her breath.
The curve of her eyelashes.
The tiny frown she makes even in sleep.
His heart aches — because he knows.
He remembers everything.
And she doesn't.
But right now… she's here.
With him.
And that's enough.
He leans down slowly…
presses a gentle kiss on her forehead.
Then another — this time, on her cheek.
And finally, as if pouring his soul into her skin,
he kisses her lips — featherlight.
Not to wake her.
But to worship her.
He whispers, almost trembling:
SAIF (barely audible):
"I'll never leave you.
Not even if you forget me a thousand times…
I'll find you in every lifetime.
And love you all over again."
He rests his forehead against hers.
Closes his eyes.
And holds her tighter.
Outside, the night stays quiet — as if the world itself is honoring the sacred promise made in the stillness of sleep.
