INT. CITY HOSPITAL – NIGHT
Doors burst open.
Ahaan storms in, still soaked from the rain.
His eyes are red, swollen from sleepless guilt.
His breath sharp, uneven.
The hospital corridor is dimly lit, quiet—
But suddenly—
Screams.
Nurses rushing.
Monitors beeping.
He stops in his tracks.
Something's wrong.
He rushes to the nurse station.
AHAAN (urgent):
"Where is she?
Room 143. Doctor Mahi.
I need to see her—now."
The nurse looks up — panicked.
NURSE:
"Sir—Dr. Mahi—she's gone."
AHAAN (frowns):
"What do you mean gone?!"
NURSE (rushed):
"She disappeared, sir!
We went to check on her an hour ago…
She wasn't there. No wheelchair. No clothes. Nothing."
His breath catches.
AHAAN (cold, low):
"She… ran away?"
NURSE (shaky):
"She removed her IV herself.
She could barely walk.
But she still… vanished."
---
INT. HOSPITAL CORRIDOR – CONTINUOUS
Ahaan runs — his footsteps echo down the hallway.
He bursts into Room 143.
The bed: Empty.
Sheets: Blood-stained.
A single photo lies on the side table — torn in half.
Their photo.
AHAAN (whispers):
"No… no, no, no—"
He staggers backward.
The heart monitor is unplugged.
The drip bag leaks onto the floor.
The only thing left of her…
is absence.
---
INT. HOSPITAL STAIRCASE – MOMENTS LATER
Ahaan runs down the emergency stairs, shouting:
AHAAN:
"MAHI!"
He bursts out into the back lot.
Empty.
Just the sound of rain.
His voice echoes.
No answer.
He drops to his knees.
AHAAN (broken, whispering to the sky):
"You said you'd never leave me…"
He looks around, soaked in rain, hair falling over his eyes.
But she's gone.
---
INT. HOSPITAL CCTV ROOM – LATER
Ahaan stands beside security.
They rewind the footage.
Camera Footage:
Mahi — slow, limping — in a patient's coat and slippers…
Dragging herself down the back corridor.
One hand clutching the wall.
The other holding something close to her chest.
Then — she disappears from view.
SECURITY GUARD (shocked):
"How did she—?"
Ahaan turns around.
Silent.
Empty.
Destroyed.
