After Lynx initiated the Saiyan rebellion, on the surface, everything appeared unchanged.
Led by elite mid-class warriors, the Saiyan strike force swiftly took control of Frieza's communication outposts on Planet Vegeta. Under pressure, the liaison officers were forced to transmit false reports back to the Frieza Force:
"Reporting, sir. Planet Vegeta is operating as usual. No abnormalities to report…"
Meanwhile, Lynx personally led a team of elite fighters to eliminate the high-ranking Frieza Force operatives assigned to monitor King Vegeta.
Once the communication devices were securely scrambled and encoded, Lynx summoned all squad captains from the Saiyan military for a top-secret assembly.
He laid out the plan.
Everyone knew that Frieza—the so-called emperor of the universe—possessed strength that far surpassed anyone on Planet Vegeta.
Even in his first form, Frieza had a battle power exceeding 530,000.
And that was just the beginning. He still had three more forms.
Undefeatable.
Even the proud King Vegeta had never truly believed the Saiyans could ever defeat Frieza.
And neither did Lynx.
However—he saw a slim chance. A one-in-a-million shot to kill the tyrant.
Frieza, despite his unimaginable power, lacked proper control over it. To avoid self-destruction, he kept his strength locked in his first form by default.
And that, Lynx realized, was a fatal weakness.
Because if Lynx could transform into a Great Ape, he would briefly gain a battle power of over 1,000,000!
One million! Enough to destroy a 530,000-power Frieza in his base form.
Don't scoff. Remember—
In the original story, Vegeta, with over 100,000 battle power, once suppressed his ki to the point where even Krillin (with only 20,000) nearly killed him.
Ki suppression and sudden bursts could turn the tide.
If Lynx could catch Frieza off guard—before he transformed—he might just pull it off.
An insane idea.
But… on deeper reflection, it could actually work.
So Lynx ordered all Saiyans to gather in the capital of Planet Vegeta. When Frieza arrived, they'd create a distraction, drawing his focus.
Frieza didn't travel alone—his army was vast. If Lynx acted alone, he'd never reach Frieza in time before he transformed.
The plan raised opposition.
Since submitting to Frieza and his father, King Cold, life had been humiliating for the Saiyans—but peaceful.
Working for Frieza, conquering worlds in his name, suited the Saiyan thirst for battle.
So why rebel now?
Many saw no reason to risk it all.
To this, Lynx needed only one sentence to convince the former king—and, through him, the rest:
"King Vegeta, surely you know why Frieza plans to destroy Planet Vegeta?Years ago… didn't you offend the God of Destruction, Beerus?"
"L-Lord Beerus?!"
That was the moment King Vegeta's resistance completely broke.
He remembered it well.
Three years ago, when Prince Vegeta was still a toddler, he had inadvertently offended the God of Destruction.
And Frieza's order to destroy Planet Vegeta… had come under Beerus' direct command.
If Lynx was right—nothing would save their planet unless they acted now.
The king's pride shattered. He yielded. And from then on, cooperated fully with Lynx's plan.
His authority helped bring reluctant Saiyans in line, even if some still harbored doubts.
Meanwhile, Lynx secured the support of a powerful ally among the low-class warriors:
Bardock—father of Son Goku.
Though officially a low-rank soldier, Bardock was an elite among them. And after a mission on Planet Kanassa, he'd been struck by a psychic attack that granted him visions of the future.
Bardock had seen it all in his dreams—Frieza, in cold blood, obliterating Planet Vegeta.
Among all the Saiyans, he believed in Lynx the most.
With King Vegeta commanding the mid-ranks and Bardock rallying the low-ranks, Lynx finally had both pillars of his uprising in place.
Together, they finalized the operation.
Days passed. And then, on the night Bardock had foreseen, the Saiyans gathered in full force under the night sky of the capital.
All of them stood silently, eyes fixed upward.
"Bardock," Lynx asked quietly, "is it time?"
Standing beside him, Bardock nodded solemnly.
"Yes, Your Majesty. Frieza… is coming."
"This is it," King Vegeta muttered, his voice tight. "The fate of our people will be decided tonight."
"We'll win," Lynx replied firmly.
Then—
BOOOOM.
The sky suddenly roared with noise.
The Saiyans' scouters lit up in unison—insane energy levels began spiking across the skies.
Everyone was stunned.
As Lynx predicted, Frieza had come—with his army.
Lynx took a deep breath. His face was calm—but his heart pounded like thunder.
This was it.
Tonight, he would make history. If his plan succeeded, this battle would surpass even the original saga—a true miracle of the weak defeating the overwhelmingly strong.
If he won, he would earn the Legendary Saiyan Bloodline—and rewrite fate itself!
"Former King Vegeta! Paragus! It's time. You two may begin!"
The two veterans nodded.
Each led a special operations team—but not for combat.
Their mission was to create artificial moons in the sky.
As everyone knew, Saiyans required the Blutz Waves from a full moon to transform into Great Apes. But Planet Vegeta had no natural moon—so they had to make one.
It was low-risk—but drained enormous energy each time. Only elite warriors like them could maintain it long enough.
"Leave it to us, King Linx!"
"For the Saiyan race!"
The warriors raised their hands, forming orbs of glowing white light.
With a mighty hurl, they launched them into the sky—where the orbs hovered like pale moons, casting their faint, mystical glow.
These were the artificial moons—and with their creation, the horns of war echoed across Planet Vegeta.
The Saiyans, united at last, were ready.
The battle to kill Frieza… had begun.
