Time flew by.
In a blink, five years had passed.
On the distant world of Planet Namek, a massive pillar of water suddenly erupted from the ocean's surface, soaring thousands of meters into the sky.
A colossal aquatic beast was launched from the depths by the force of the water, only to come crashing down moments later.
At that very moment, a black-haired, tailed teenager burst out from below the waves and slammed directly into the beast, finishing it off in an instant.
Grabbing the now-lifeless creature, the boy flew toward the shore.
There, waiting with arms crossed and a steady gaze, stood Nail, the strongest warrior of the Namekians.
"Uncle Nail, I won! You're not worried about me losing control anymore, right?"the boy grinned, holding the beast aloft.
"Broly," Nail said with a straight face, "I saw it. You've learned to control your rage now. That's good."
Though his tone was cold, his words were filled with genuine care.
After all, Nail had been Broly's guardian for the past five years, and the two had grown close.
As Broly tossed the beast's body onto the shore and started roasting meat, Nail couldn't help but recall the events of five years ago…
Back then, the Saiyan named Lynx—who had once stayed on Namek—suddenly returned with the infant Broly in his arms and came directly before the Grand Elder.
This Saiyan not only asked the Namekians to raise Broly, but also made a wish using the Dragon Balls.
What puzzled Nail to this day was how the Grand Elder agreed to everything Lynx requested without hesitation.
When asked later about his reasoning, the Grand Elder gave an answer that left Nail even more confused:
"These two Saiyans may one day become the saviors of Namek."
Saviors?
Nail had scoffed at that idea.
Lynx, perhaps. But Broly? He had nearly become the destroyer of Planet Namek!
Nail had never imagined a being like Broly could exist—someone born with such unmatched, ever-growing power.
Though still just a child, Broly's strength increased by the day.
Fortunately, Broly was a kind and obedient child by nature. He rarely caused trouble.
However, in moments of danger, Broly would sometimes lose control emotionally—and each time he did, he transformed into a terrifying, rampaging demon.
In the first year after Broly's arrival, Nail had still been able to suppress him.
By the second year, however, Broly's rage-fueled power had already surpassed Nail's completely.
Thankfully, Lynx seemed to have foreseen this issue when he first came to Namek.
One of his three Dragon Ball wishes had been to create a special instrument—a "Calming Flute"—capable of pacifying anyone who went berserk and soothing their mind.
This flute, entrusted to the Grand Elder, had saved Namek from destruction multiple times.
As Nail recalled the past, Broly had already devoured the entire giant beast.
He patted his now-bulging stomach with a satisfied grin.
"Uncle Nail, I'm full! I even saved a piece for you—are you sure you don't want any?"
"I've told you before: Namekians only need sunlight and water."
"Okay… then I'll finish it myself!"
Watching Broly scarf down the leftovers, Nail's lips curled into a faint smile.
Despite being a so-called "demon," Broly was genuinely a good kid—so long as he didn't lose control. In fact, his personality was quite likable to many Namekians.
"Speaking of which…" Nail suddenly said,"Broly, it seems the five years are almost up."
"Really?" Broly dropped the meat, eyes lighting up."Uncle Nail, does that mean Brother Lynx is about to wake up?!"
"Very likely. Want to go check?"
"Yes!"
Broly quickly stuffed the last bite into his mouth and launched into the sky, not even waiting for Nail as he darted toward a certain spot deep within the ocean.
Nail didn't stop him and quietly followed.
Planet Namek was a world of floating islands, and its surface was covered mostly in shimmering green oceans.
Deep beneath the largest sea region, there had been a glowing orb of light resting silently ever since five years ago.
For all that time, the orb had shone like a miniature sun, illuminating the surrounding waters. Anyone capable of sensing ki would feel a vast and terrifying presence faintly radiating from within.
After a long flight, Broly and Nail finally arrived above the glowing orb.
Even from above, Broly could tell something had changed.
"It's true! Uncle Nail, Brother Lynx's energy is stronger than ever! He really is waking up!"
Nail wiped a bead of sweat from his brow.
He didn't need Broly to tell him—he could already feel the immense change below.
That Saiyan's aura had become even more immense… and terrifying.
Damn it! Just what has he been doing down there for the past five years?
Beneath the surface, within the orb of light…
Lynx's consciousness slowly began to stir.
Five years ago, after making all his preparations, Lynx had submerged himself into the depths of Namek's sea to begin fusing with the Legendary Super Saiyan bloodline.
During this time, his mind had been completely separated from his body. Meanwhile, his body was slowly broken down and reformed within the light orb.
And now, at last, his physical form had been fully reconstructed.
Suddenly, a tremendous force yanked his soul back into his new body.
Inside the orb, a flash of green light streaked past.
After five long years of slumber, Lynx finally opened his eyes.
DING! Host has successfully fused with the Legendary Super Saiyan bloodline!
As Lynx's eyes opened, the first thing he heard was the system's mechanical voice.
He clenched his fists, elated.
"Finally… it's done!"
Who would've thought that fusing with just one legendary bloodline would take a full five years?
Is the system that weak… or is this bloodline just too powerful?
Then, to his surprise, the system spoke again.
