Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 {Birth Family}

Cutie: The system's voice crackles with excitement Oh, Beatrice, I'm so glad you're back! This novel has been driving me crazy. The last time you died, I thought we'd never get another chance. But here we are!

The system pulls up a holographic display, showing a sprawling mansion and a group of familiar faces

This time, things will be different. I've upgraded your powers, given you new abilities, and even thrown in a few surprises. The scumbags and white lotuses won't know what hit them!

Cutie's voice takes on a conspiratorial tone And between you and me, I think I might have found a loophole in the Heavenly Celestial Emperor's rules. Something about this novel... it might just be the key to finally getting what you want.

"Cutie don't say it, that man why won't he let me dual cultivate the more I think about the angry I get!" Beatrice whined. Cutie giggled it was a cute white teddy bear with a bow on its ear.

Cutie: The teddy bear's eyes sparkle with mischief as it bounces up and down Oh, Beatrice, you know I love it when you get all worked up about the Heavenly Celestial Emperor. It's just so adorable!

Cutie's voice drops to a whisper, as if sharing a secret But seriously, this novel... it's different. There's something about the protagonist that I think might just be able to help you out. He's powerful, stubborn, and has a bit of a rebellious streak. Sound familiar?

The holographic display shifts, focusing on a handsome man with piercing eyes and an air of confidence about him

Beatrice frowned slightly and waved her hand her eyes darken as she held her hand out.

"Let's go I can feel that Heavenly Celestial Emperor would lock me up if finds me playing around," Beatrice said as she clenched her jaw as her soul disappeared.

She heard a large crush. She opened her eyes and she sat up and saw herself in the mirror she was extremely beautiful but she remembers this place. The Allen Family Clan! Hehe this time she won't play by the rules! She got dressed in ripped jeans and crop top she put on a leather jacket as she walked down the stairs with indifference.

Cutie: host these are the family that tortured you?

{mmm yes they did torture me but I won't do anything to them yet! Today is the day they recognized Maddison as the real heiress as for me a fake.}

Cutie: Master, don't be angry recall the times people dared bully you the Heavenly Celestial Emperor handled them

{Cutie why do I feel like you know so much about that immortal? Forget it doesn't matter little teddy. Watch and listen to the speech these adoptive parents give their darling daughter.}

Cutie sighed and nodded his chubby cheeks and looked at the crowd he was sitting on Beatrice shoulder and waiting for the speech.

The grand hall of the Allen estate was filled to the brim with the crème de la crème of high society. The air buzzed with excitement and anticipation as the family patriarch, a sternlooking man with a silver beard, took to the stage.

"Ladies and gentlemen," he began, his voice booming through the microphone.

"Today is a day of great pride and joy for the Allen family. We gather here to recognize and celebrate the true heiress to our dynasty."

He paused, letting the suspense build, before continuing.

"Please welcome, the one and only, Madeline Allen!"

The crowd erupted into applause as Maddison stepped onto the stage, a vision of perfection in her designer gown. She wore a beautiful blue dress blonde yellow hair, hazel green eyes as she looked innocent Beatrice knew damn well what kind of person she was.

"Hello everyone thank you for welcoming me, I missed out so much and I hope you can all guide me," Maddison said.

"My daughter has been missing for 17 years suffered so much," a woman named Jessica said to her daughter and broke into tears as the mother and daughter hugged. Maddison two brothers and dad also came as they looked like a happy family.

"Beatrice," Maddison said so sweetly as she rushed forward. Unlike Maddison who looked like a princess, Beatrice was dressed like gangster she had a lollipop in her mouth. Maddison tried to touch her hand but Beatrice eyes flashed with coldness.

"Tsk tsk be a heiress, but don't touch me with your dirty hands," Beatrice said.

"Beatrice!" Jessica shouted as she pointed at this adoptive daughter of hers.

"Mom, calm down, sister I know you don't want to let go of Jackson go the Allen family name and it's okay I see you as…"

"Sorry do I hear a dog barking?" Beatrice asked as she rubbed her ear.

The crowd gasped at Beatrice's rude interruption, whispers spreading like wildfire. Maddison's smile faltered, her eyes flashing with anger behind her innocent facade.

"How dare you speak to your sister like that!" Jessica snapped, her face flushed with embarrassment and rage. "Apologize this instant!"

Beatrice simply shrugged, popping the lollipop out of her mouth.

"Sorry, mom. I didn't realize dogs could talk." She smirked, enjoying the shocked expressions on the faces of her socalled family.

Maddison's brothers, twins named Ethan and Evan, stepped forward, their faces contorted with fury.

"You little bitch," Ethan growled. Beatrice just chuckled.

"Beatrice because my parents raised you and…"

"Maddison, don't worry I rather be homeless than stay here," Maddison said.

"Get out of here! So you know your parents are broke!" Ethan snapped. Beatrice once again flattered her eyelashes.

"Okay that's fine," she said.

"Oh yes sister don't you know the rumors about your family let me tell you," Maddison said as if she caring.

"I am waiting…" Beatrice snapped coldly.

"Well sist…"

"Don't call me sister my birth parents only have one daughter!" She snapped. Maddison was getting so angry but she took a deep breath she must play the innocent caring sister.

"Well they live in a poor neighborhood that is full of crime, and well your family members," she said as she covered her mouth as if she can't say it.

Cutie: Master! This woman is so fake! Goodness these people are all foolish!

Beatrice's eyes narrowed, a cold smirk playing on her lips. She could see right through Maddison's act, the fake concern and pity dripping from her voice like poison.

"And what about them, huh?" she challenged, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Spit it out, Maddison. I'm sure you're dying to tell me how much of a disappointment my family is compared to yours."

The crowd held their breath, waiting for Maddison's response. The tension in the air was palpable, the only sound the soft murmur of whispers and the distant ticking of a clock.

Maddison hesitated, her smile faltering for a moment before she regained her composure.

"Well, I... I heard they're involved in some rather unsavory activities. Gambling, drugs, even prostitution, from what I've been told."

Beatrice smiled and she grabbed a cupcake as she eat and she smiled so brightly. But before she could say anything she saw Jackson who walked over. Maddison put on an act and threw her arms around Jackson.

"Beatrice! Apologize to Maddison! She just returned and you want to bully her? You are just a fake heiress!"

Both Cutie and Beatrice both felt like throwing a tantrum.

"Speaking of which good you are here this me breaking off our engagement," Beatrice said as she threw the paper and Jackson growled but signed it believing that Beatrice will beg him.

"Sister I am sorry it's just…"

"Maddison? Does barking like a dog enjoyable? As for my birth family I don't mind them being well what you said! I will be happy either way!"
