Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 {Cutie}

Beatrice stared at the plane ticket in her hand, a mix of emotions swirling within her. Part of her was curious about her birth family, eager to meet the people who had given her life. But another part of her was hesitant, worried about the potential complications that might arise from this reunion.

She sighed, running a hand through her messy hair. Whatever happened, she knew she had to face it headon. She had come too far in this life to let fear hold her back.

With a determined nod, she grabbed her backpack and headed out of the hotel room. She had a few hours to kill before her flight, and she knew just how she wanted to spend them.

As she walked through the streets of York, Beatrice's mind wandered to Lily. The girl's admiration had been flattering, but Beatrice knew better than to get too attached. She had too many secrets, too much baggage. It wouldn't be fair to drag Lily into her complicated life.

Beatrice grabbed the fortune telling cards that got from her master from one of the other world. As she shuffled them she looked around what kind of luck can she have what idiot would come to her and ask her to read there fortune? Mmm she hummed to herself and she turned around and looked at the homeless man as she stepped forward she put her hands behind her back.

"Let me read you fortune!" She said sweetly.

The homeless man looked up at Beatrice, his eyes wary and suspicious. He had seen his fair share of scams and tricks, and he wasn't about to fall for another one. But something about this girl's sweet smile and gentle demeanor made him hesitate.

"What's the catch?" he asked gruffly, his voice rough from years of hard living.

"No catch," Beatrice replied, her tone sincere.

"I just want to help."

She sat down beside him, the fortunetelling cards clutched in her hands. The man hesitated for a moment longer, then shrugged and held out his palm.

"Alright, kid. Let's see what the future holds."

As Beatrice began to lay out the cards, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She had always been fascinated by fortunetelling, by the idea that she could glimpse into the unknown.

"Alright I read your name, age, zodiac sign, and what the future hold for you, and for my payment, how about that leave?" She asked. The homeless handed it over. It was just a normal leave but she needed payment.

The homeless man nodded, handing over the leave without hesitation. He was curious to hear what the future held, and if this girl could truly see into his destiny.

Beatrice smiled, taking the leave and tucking it into her pocket. She closed her eyes, focusing on the energy of the cards as she laid them out in a intricate pattern.

"Your name is Harold, and you're 32 years old," she began, her voice taking on a soft, almost hypnotic quality.

"You're a Taurus, which means you're stubborn and reliable. You've had a tough life, Harold. Lots of struggles and hardships."

The man nodded, his expression solemn. Beatrice's words resonated with him, confirming what he already knew.

"But things are about to change," she continued, her finger hovering over one of the cards.

"Tomorrow go and buy a lottery ticket, your numbers will be 3, 45, 70, and 89, you will win something big, and make your dreams come true," Beatrice said. She grabbed another card.

"Instead of business go into the cooking industry," she said after she was finished she put her cards together and closed it.

Harold stared at Beatrice, his eyes wide with disbelief. He had heard of people winning the lottery, but he never thought it would happen to him. And the cooking industry? He had always loved to cook, but he never pursued it as a career.

"Kid, are you serious?" he asked, his voice trembling with emotion.

"Are you saying I'm gonna win the lottery?"

Beatrice nodded, her smile warm and reassuring.

"I'm serious, Harold. Those are your lucky numbers. And as for the cooking industry, I can see it in your aura. You have a talent for it."

Harold couldn't believe what he was hearing. He had been homeless for so long, struggling to survive day by day. And now, this girl was telling him that his luck was about to change.

"Thank you," he said, his voice choked with gratitude.

"You don't know how much this means to me."

Beatrice stood up, patting Harold on the shoulder.

"It's my pleasure, Harold. I'm glad I could help."

As she walked away, she couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction.

As Beatrice walked away from Harold, she didn't notice the subtle changes happening around her. Her aura, a mesmerizing blend of gold and silver, was growing stronger with each passing moment. It pulsed and shimmered, casting an ethereal glow on the surrounding area.

People passing by couldn't help but stare, drawn to the otherworldly beauty of her presence. They whispered to each other, wondering if she was some kind of angel or divine being.

But Beatrice was oblivious to the attention, her mind preoccupied with thoughts of her upcoming flight and the reunion with her birth family. She didn't notice the way the air seemed to crackle with energy whenever she moved, or how the very fabric of reality seemed to bend to her will.

As she turned a corner, she collided with someone, sending them both tumbling to the ground. Beatrice looked up, her eyes widening in surprise as she found herself staring into the face of a handsome stranger.

"I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed, scrambling to her feet.

"I didn't see you there."

The stranger smiled, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

"No worries," he said, his voice smooth and charming. Beatrice rushed off and the handsome sexy stranger looked at the woman he walked off he was wearing a face mask as he stepped in a alleyway his eyes darken slightly before he got inside a BMW and it drove off.

Beatrice sat at the park as she eat her sandwich.
