Chapter 29 - Chapter 190 Loki's Visit

---

Bella handed little Sally over to Angie, and while tidying up the breakfast table, she began answering her curious best friend's many questions.

Bella didn't speak quickly, but her voice was clear and deliberate, steady and methodical.

It lacked the dramatic flair of some storytellers, yet it carried its own kind of gravity.

With her real-world experience and calm tone, her stories felt less like recounting battles and more like watching a cinematic fantasy epic unfold.

She spoke of wiping out the Savage Gang in Forks, defeating two Blood Clan members...

Then after arriving in New York, things escalated—evil Blood Clans, dark creatures, demon kings, aliens, interstellar wars, and more.

Each battle, though narrated in an almost casual tone, paired perfectly with the widely circulated videos of the Goddess of Judgment fighting online.

Angie, listening wide-eyed, could practically see it all in her head.

"Oohhh, that's so cool," she gasped, eyes sparkling.

"Why don't you ever take me with you? I want to see what the Blood Clan really looks like! The way they're portrayed in movies—it's so romantic."

"And Asgard... isn't it beautiful? If I had the chance, I'd visit the whole universe with you!"

As she spoke, Angie helped Bella clean up the dishes, practically drooling with envy.

Of course, she'd never admit that the real reason for her drool was Bella's talk of Asgard's exotic food—and the wild delicacies of other planets.

While Angie was rambling on, Celia's soft voice chimed in from the intercom:

"Ms. Bella, Mr. Loki is here to visit."

Loki?

Bella paused mid-task, setting the last bowl onto the metal rack inside the sterilizer.

"Wow," she muttered, amused. "We were just talking about Asgard, and Loki shows up."

Angie, standing beside her, raised an eyebrow and chuckled.

In this world, Loki wasn't a widely known figure. Even after the Battle of New York, most people only remembered that it was an alien invasion.

Loki's identity had been carefully concealed by the authorities.

But to Angie, Bella never kept secrets like that. She never had to.

Step. Step. Step.

With the sound of approaching footsteps, a magnetic voice echoed into the room:

"I couldn't help but wonder—what were the two lovely ladies saying about me?"

Angie turned her head—and her breath caught.

At some point, a tall man had entered the room.

He wore a sleek black suit with a matching coat, his long, slightly curled black hair draped elegantly over his shoulders.

He leaned gracefully on a cane, his posture refined and relaxed.

When he turned, Angie was nearly blinded by his stunningly handsome face.

He had the kind of beauty that could've made him a god among men—oh wait, he was one.

Even the faint trace of darkness in his aura only made him more compelling.

Was this... Loki?

Angie was mesmerized.

If it came down to looks and charm, Loki could probably win over half the galaxy in a week—and steal the other half with a smirk.

But Bella knew better.

Loki might look the part of a charming rogue, but he was proud to the core.

Ordinary women—sometimes even goddesses—meant little to him.

And Angie?

Sure, she was a beauty lover, but after years of being best friends with someone like Bella, her resistance had long since leveled up to EX tier.

So... she admired from afar. No drooling. Just a quiet, impressed "hm."

"Bad timing, Loki. We just finished breakfast."

Bella dried her hands with a towel, then stepped from the kitchen into the hall.

She studied him for a moment.

He had changed. Grown stronger. More refined.

"What a shame," Loki replied, lounging casually on the nearby sofa, smiling as if amused by Bella's mildly annoyed expression.

Suddenly, a small voice rang out from Angie's lap.

"Sister Bella, he smells weird. I don't like it."

Little Sally had lifted her head.

Her eyes glowed faint red, cold and sharp—full of killing intent.

The sheer pressure in that moment made the hairs on Loki's neck stand on end.

"Whoa, whoa! I'm not the enemy, little one!"

Loki raised his hands in surrender, smiling awkwardly.

He could feel it—this child radiated death. A terrifying presence, rivaling some of the strongest beings he'd ever faced.

"Sally~"

Bella rubbed the girl's head gently, calming her down before glancing back at Loki.

"She's extremely sensitive to dark energy. She hates it."

The message was clear.

But rather than taking offense, Loki smiled. He knew Bella wasn't the type to mince words.

"Thank you, Bella. I heard what you did in the cosmos. Thank you for dealing with... that man."

"You know I didn't do it for you."

Bella's tone was cool. She didn't mention the fact that Thanos might still be alive.

Loki turned toward Angie, who still looked utterly confused, and tapped the sofa arm.

"Asgard hasn't been peaceful lately," he said.

"Recently, we detected traces of the Dark Elves."

"Dark Elves?" Bella frowned. She wasn't too familiar with that race.

"They're one of the Nine Realms' older civilizations," Loki explained.

"Strong, but cruel. They once held the Aether—what you know as one of the Infinity Stones."

"They were thought extinct after Asgard wiped them out."

"But now... they're back. And they hate us."

Bella listened quietly. She wasn't overly concerned—it didn't sound like he was here to ask for help.

And he wasn't.

"It's not Asgardian style to rely on others," Loki added, shrugging. "We'll deal with it."

Then he got to the point:

"But I came to warn you."

Bella's expression sharpened.

"Warn me?"

"My father believes the Hell Dimension is stirring. Dormammu—Lord of the Dark Dimension—may be pushing to breach into our universe."

"Earth could be in danger."

Now that got Bella's attention.

Dormammu.

One of the most dangerous beings in the multiverse. Like Mephisto, he couldn't directly cross dimensions, but his reach and power were terrifying.

And now they might both be on the move?

Bella smiled faintly.
