"I'll cover for you, Kat," Dad told me as I clocked out for my appointment. Zach and I have got closer over the week despite how much fussing he has been doing. He wants to go with me to the appointment.
"Kitty I've got nothing better to do anyway." He said as I got in my truck. "I don't know Zach wouldn't it start controversy?" I asked. "I wouldn't mind Kitty Kat." He said.
I still didn't know what people would think, especially about him showing up at an appointment. "Kitty if it makes you feel better then I won't go." He said.
"Get in." I told him. He hurried around to the other side and got in. His phone rang right as he buckled his seat belt.
"Hello. Yes this is he... Today? What time?..... Um I'm on my way to the office now....." He rolled his eyes. "Yes I am is there any problem with that?..... Yes after hers... Thank you."
He hung up and rubbed his face. "My appointment was changed to today." He told me. I nodded. We got to the doctors office and I checked in. He sat down in a chair.
I sat down next to him. People were already staring at us. A nurse called my name and both of us went back.
He held my hand as we entered the room. I sat on the bed while he sat in a chair nearby. The heartbeat was checked and we got to see another image of the baby.
Zach tried not to smile as he saw the baby move around. You could see the baby almost perfectly. "Come back next month and we'll be able to determine the gender." The doctor told me.
I nodded. Once I was able to leave Zach had to have his appointment done. After his we got something to eat and went home.
"I can't wait for it to be born." He said kissing my knuckles as I drove down the road. I smiled knowing something special was growing inside of me.
We got to the house and went inside. He hugged me setting both hands under my bump and kissed my neck. "May I go to the next one?" He asked.
"I don't care." I told him. He kissed me and started trailing them up to my forehead. "How much longer?" He asked.
"Three months." I told him. "And how many more appointments?" He asked. "Just one more when the gender is determined." I told him.
He kissed my temple. "Can't wait for that." He said then kissed me again. I couldn't either. I giggled as he continued to kiss and move his fingers along the skin under my shirt.
Zach's POV
I can definitely feel the bump along her abdomen. Seeing the pictures in person just about an hour ago made me warm inside. I really want a family now.
I don't care what everyone thinks about that I want a family. She is apart of my life now. I don't know what I'd do without her.
Kat's POV
He cooked supper for the first time in a month. I enjoyed every minute of it. Even went back for seconds and possibly thirds.
He never complained because he knew I was eating for two. After dinner I got a shower and put on one of his shirts.
"I'm going to bed." I told him. He got up and followed me to the bedroom. I got into bed and almost fell asleep. Few minutes later he was next to me.
His hand on the same place it's been for a few months. I snuggled into him as he kissed me and held me close enough not to hurt the baby still growing.
I got out of bed and got dressed. I was about to pull my shirt down when Zach put his good hand over the bump. I had grown a little bit more last night and it will through out the day.
Two and a half months to go. I have to finish out the rest of this month before its two full months. A week from today we find out what the gender is going to be. I'm super excited about it!
Zach is wanting it to be a girl while I want a boy. Crazy how life works. He kissed my neck and trailed the kisses up to my forehead. I loved it when he did that.
He pulled me back closer against him. He continued to kiss me making me melt. Then he undid my jeans. "Will you let me?" He asked. I could feel the bulge forming against me.
"Zach I don't know." I told him. "The baby will be fine." He said pulling my jeans down farther. "If this is my baby we will be married within two months of its birth." He said before nipping at my ear.
His good hand went over my body entirely. He's driving me a good kind of crazy when he does this. "Just once?" He asked. I leaned my head against his shoulder.
"I'll take it slow Kitty. I promise I won't hurt you." Everyone in town has already been saying I'm a slut because of me getting pregnant so what's one little round going to affect?
I took my shirt off and my jeans. He pulled me back onto the edge of the bed. I let him kiss me as he unclasped my bra and fingered my underwear. He stood in between my legs kissing my lips and skin.
He moved closer to my body trying to close the space between us. I wrapped my legs around him pulling myself closer to him. He leaned me back to lay on the bed. "Move your legs Kitty." Zach said huskily.
I melted even more as I did what he told me to. I dropped my legs. "Just relax." His hands ran along my skin causing me to get goosebumps. He made love to me on my bed in my room.
