At night, the full moon hung high in the sky.
Female agents dressed in black tights shuttled through the fallen city. They were like ghosts in the night, silently killing sentries and guards as they snuck toward the prison where their targets were being held. One after another, the soldiers of the Skull Division died before they could even react.
They were Soviet secret agents, known collectively as the Black Widows. Brought into the Red Room as children, they underwent years of rigorous training, specializing in infiltration, rescue, and assassination.
Inside the cell, the scientists were asleep. After all, sleep was the only way to forget the gnawing hunger.
Thump.
A special smoke bomb was thrown in, and a light mist sprayed out. The special gas penetrated everyone's nasal cavities, snapping them awake instantly. Through the moonlight shining through the ventilation window, they saw two Black Widows standing outside the iron fence, watching them.
"Don't talk. We are Soviet agents, and we are here to rescue you," one of the Black Widows explained. "The gas just now is a special stimulant that can temporarily awaken your potential. Remember to follow our instructions throughout the process."
The scientists nodded in unison, their faces filled with excitement. To be able to escape to the Soviet Union was undoubtedly the best possible outcome.
The Black Widow easily opened the door lock and began to count the number of people. When she got to Alan, she asked, "Who are you?"
"He's a fool who was persecuted by the Axis powers. Don't ask him," one of the scientists warned.
"I am Agent Durex Dupont, codename Zero Zero," Alan said, making a pistol with his right hand, looking anything but confident.
"Alright, you can come with us." Saving one more or one less didn't matter to the Black Widows. As for identity verification, there would be professional personnel to take care of it once they returned to the Soviet Union. Anyone locked up with these scientists was likely a scientist as well, and they were all treasures to their country. Even if his brain seemed abnormal, he might be able to research something remarkable.
The Black Widows had a detailed plan. The evacuation route had already been clearly arranged. Along the way, other Widows hiding in the dark gathered, and they entered a house under the cover of night. Lifting a carpet, they opened a wooden door to reveal a tunnel that had already been dug.
Alan sidled up to the Black Widow beside him. "What does it take to become a Black Widow?"
"You can't." The Black Widow glanced at him indifferently.
"Why?" Alan pouted stubbornly.
"Black Widow only recruits women."
"How can you assume my gender? You are discriminating against me." Alan asked sincerely, "Is it too late for me to have surgery now?"
The agent stopped, looked him up and down, and then continued walking forward.
But who was Alan? How could he give up an opportunity to strike up a conversation? He pretended to be mysterious and said, "I actually know one of you Black Widows."
"Don't get me wrong, she has a… questionable lifestyle."
"She's been with so many guys, like Captain America, the Winter Soldier, the Hulk, Hawkeye, Iron Man… there are so many, I can't even count them all. Don't learn from her." Alan smiled frivolously. "There's a saying circulating on the internet: if the Hulk smiles, Black Widow's life or death is in danger."
"Her name is Natasha. Do you know her?"
At this, the Black Widow turned her head and stared at him, her voice cold. "I am Natasha."
"…"
The atmosphere froze. Alan's expression went stiff for a few seconds. "Don't be ridiculous," he said awkwardly. "Her hair is red, and yours is blond."
"I dyed my hair." Natasha's explanation was impeccable.
Alan felt defeated for the first time, but he pretended to be calm. "I was just talking nonsense because I was sick. Do you believe me?"
"I don't believe you."
"You're no fun at all. I don't want to play with you anymore." Alan was deeply frustrated.
When they walked out of the tunnel, they were already outside the city. There were off-road motorcycles hidden in the woods. A Black Widow took a scientist, and Alan looked at Natasha awkwardly, because everyone else had already set off.
"Get in the car," Natasha said coldly.
Alan got on the back seat, put his hands on her hips, and said happily, "I knew my sister wouldn't be angry with me."
With a twist of the throttle, the motorcycle sped along the muddy road.
"Sister, this pelvic bone I'm holding has a special name. It's called the Grip of Love."
"Sister, you look better with red hair. So sexy."
"Sister, are you pretending to be cool by not talking?"
"Sister, do you have something on your mind?"
"Sister, I used to be a fortune-teller. Let me tell your fortune."
"Sister, you have a strong destiny. You will have many romantic relationships when you are old."
"Sister, are you happy that I predicted that correctly?"
"Sister, I have a secret…"
Bang!
The motorcycle crashed straight into a tree. Alan and Natasha were thrown off, rolling several times on the ground.
"How do you drive? Do you have a driver's license?" Alan spat out a mouthful of dirt and was about to start his chattering machine gun when he felt a chill on his forehead.
Natasha pointed a gun at him and warned, "If you don't shut up, I'll shoot you in the head."
"I, Durex Dupont, bet you there are no bullets in your gun," Alan said calmly.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The three gunshots were deafening, but Alan remained calm.
"Let's go. Get in the car." Natasha walked toward the motorcycle, ready to pick it up and continue on her way.
"What did you say? I can't hear you." Alan's ears were ringing. He added, "I knew my sister couldn't bear to kill me."
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…
Several long whistles were heard, and flares rose into the sky, illuminating the dark wilderness with a bright red light. In the distance, the sound of vehicles roared. It had to be the Skull Division; they had discovered the scientists' escape.
Natasha anxiously pulled Alan onto the bike and quickly rushed to the agreed location.
"Sister, were those three shots just now you declaring your sovereignty over me?" Alan leaned on Natasha's shoulder shyly. "A domineering female agent pursuing a spirited young man. Three shots to declare that we will never be separated for three lifetimes."
Vroooom…
Natasha stepped hard on the accelerator, trying to cover up Alan's voice with the roar of the engine. But the problem was, Alan now had tinnitus and couldn't hear the roar, yet he still chattered on and on.
Veins bulged on Natasha's forehead. If she hadn't been on a mission, she would have really shot the annoying guy to death.
After arriving at the designated location, a speedboat was parked on the riverside. The next part of their journey would be by water, to the Soviet Union. The rest of the people had already gone ahead in other speedboats.
While Natasha and Alan drove the speedboat some distance away, the soldiers of the Skull Division had already chased them to the shore and were firing at them angrily. Unfortunately, they were beyond the effective attack range.
"No need to see me off! I'm leaving now!" Alan waved to the people on the shore.
Dr. Zola, commanding the army, raised his hand to signal them to stop the attack. "The first step was completed very smoothly," he said with satisfaction. "I hope they can pass the review."
Among the scientists, there were, of course, Hydra spies. They were always willing to spend a lot of money to lure the Black Widows into rescuing them, even at the expense of many soldiers. It could be said that those who achieve great things do not care about trivial matters.
