"Enough!"
"You all asked me to get a queen, which I did, and now you think you can detect how I handle my home?" A cold voice sounded in the room filled with people bowing their heads. They were dressed in elegant robes that showed they were royal elders or ministers.
"How dare you all?!" The loud voice of the man sounded again with a bang! The table beside him was thrown at the people but they dared not dodge.
How dare they dodge?! This was the king raging, and when the king raged, they had to remain silent and low.
"Since you all chose a queen for yourself just like I allowed you all to, then you should be satisfied. Stay low and don't keep buzzing in my ears about children this or that, one more word about this, and I will have the Queen dethroned!" The voice said coldly, then stood up and walked away angrily.
His back was straight, and his pace was hurried, like he was running away from something. And who was he?
The king of Damelive, King Rofus!
He continued walking for a while then suddenly stopped, he turned to the multiple guards following him and waved his hand and immediately, they scattered off, then he turned to look at his butler whose head was bowed in front of him.
"Is he awake?" He asked in a voice different from his raging one.
"No, My King!" The butler said, but seeing the frown that appeared on King Rufus's face, he immediately cleared his throat, then continued, "The Doctors said he only needs rest, and you can also check on him, His Majesty." He finished and then bowed his head lower.
King Rufus clenched his fist hard and hid it in between his royal robe then bated his long eyelashes in confusion, and as if he had made a big decision, he gritted his teeth and changed his direction.

King Rufus entered the room quietly and laid his eyes on the unconscious person lying on the bed. He pulsed his lips, then walked toward the man, and this was when he was able to see the real appearance of the man he had saved just yesterday.
The man had long dark hair spread around on the bed beautifully, his face was so pale and white but so enchanting, he had never seen someone whose beauty was beyond gender, he looked like a devil and at the same time like an innocent elf.
"Go call the doctor!" King Rufus ordered the butler, and after the door closed, he walked closer to the strange man and sat down on the bed. He couldn't help but be wow'ed by the man's beauty, but he knew he had to be careful as he didn't know who or where he had come from.
He had only been taking his bath in the outer bath house when he suddenly felt something float to the top, he had been so shocked but he still decided to rescue the man.
"Who are you? And why were you unconscious in my palace?" He asked in curiosity, then his face turned cold and ruthless as he threatened, "You better not be a spy! I will cut off your head and that of your family, and also leave you without a complete corpse!"
"Hmmph!" He snorted, then he couldn't stop his hand from going to the man's face as he poked his cheek, but suddenly his hand was caught in a tight grip.
King Rufus was stunned at first, then looked at the man, and that was when the strange man's eyes flashed open.
"You—!" King Rufus was stunned when his eyes met with those bloodshot eyes, so cold and unfeeling. His heart began beating so fast, and his face turned pale from shock.
"Guard— Ahhh! Urggh..!" The man cut him off when King Rufus was just about to call for help then he was thrown to the wall.
His back hit the wall, and he groaned from the pain, but that was not his problem at the moment. He sat on the ground and looked up to see the man he had saved standing in front of him and looking at him strangely. The man's eyes were ruthless as they fixed on him, and somehow, Rufus found himself unable to talk or move, and all he could do was watch the man walk towards him with fear and panic.
He swallowed hard and batted his eyes at the man who was now standing in front of him, like he was pleading.
"Wh-Who are you? Don't kill-kill me!" He said and swallowed as he watched the man still walk towards him as if he hadn't heard a word he said.
The man looked at him with a blank face then leaned towards his face and suddenly inhaled deeply, his red eyes turned a shade darker, then he licked his lips slowly and looked at the stiff king Rufus with curiosity.
His hand raised to touch Rufus's face then traced it down his neck, then suddenly grabbed his neck tightly.
"Urgggh…! No, You—!" King Rufus shook his head desperately as he tried to beg the Man to release him, but it was all futile as the hold on his neck became tighter.
"Hungry. Blood. Delicious." The strange man said brokenly, and the next second his mouth opened and his canines became long and sharp if he could cut a blade.
King Rufus looked at the canines of the Man then back at his blood red eyes and it clicked in his head, "This was no human! But the creature he had read about, The Vampire!"
His eyes suddenly became dull and his strength weakened, but when those teeth neared him, his heart still shook in fear, and when it bit down on his neck—
"Please….Ahhh… No! Urggg!"
