Bounded In Chains To A Monster: Trapped In His Cage

On the cliff, the kidnappers held their knives to her and Elise’s necks. “You can only choose one,” they said. “I choose her,” the man pointed to his Elise. Kelsey trembled. “Rhett, I’m pregnant.” Rhett lifted his eyes without any emotion. “Elise is afraid of heights.” …Many years later. They say Rhett, the most powerful man in Spring City, is always standing at his ex-wife’s door, doing everything just to please her, even if she never looks at him. They say Rhett almost died in front of Kelsey’s door the night she brought another man home. Everyone envies Kelsey, but she just smiles and says, “Don’t die at my doorstep. I don’t want it to get dirty.” What nobody knows is that Rhett is obsessed with her. He doesn’t just want her body. He wants to control her completely, her heart, her mind, and even her soul. He will never let her go. --- Excerpt – Chapter 81: "Kelsey, You Are Mine" She pushed him away, but Rhett didn’t care about her resistance. He kicked open the door and threw her onto the sofa with a loud thud. Kelsey felt a sharp pain in her back and sat up, but the room was dark. Rhett’s tall figure made a scary shadow. He looked cold and didn’t care about anything. Kelsey was shaking. “Rhett, what do you want?” “I want YOU. Don’t you understand?” Rhett stepped closer. He didn’t turn on the lights. He just stared at Kelsey’s face in the dark. It was hard to see what he was thinking. “I told you to wait here for me for just a few days. How did you mess that up?” He was already in front of her. His tall body made Kelsey step back, but Rhett grabbed her wrist and pulled it hard. He grabbed her neck, making her look straight into his eyes. “I told you to stay away from that man. Did you ignore me?” Kelsey knocked his hand away. “We don’t have anything to do with each other anymore! You have no right to tell me what to do!” “Oh really? I have no right?” Rhett’s eyes suddenly turned darker, and he grabbed her tighter. He only let go when Kelsey made a pained face. Her eyes were full of tears. He sneered, “You two looked really close. He opened the car door for you, fastened your seatbelt, and even covered your head.” “Are you touched by that? Kelsey, how can you be so cheap...” His breath was hot next to her ear as he spoke. If she turned her head, she could see his cold, gloomy eyes. She tried to escape from his grip, but he held her even tighter. “Kelsey, you can only be mine.” Rhett pushed her hard against the wall. His eyes were full of fire and anger. He lifted her chin and kissed her hard. Only when he felt her soft lips did his anger calm down a little, like when they looked like a real family of three before. But that warm feeling wasn’t supposed to be on Kelsey. No one else should ever make her feel that way. No other man.

Blood And Fire: A Forbidden Legacy

Excerpt; “Do you hate me so much… Wife?" He questions as he rests a hand on the wall beside my head and wraps an arm around my waist, pulling me off the wall and into his embrace. His face dips into the curve of my neck, causing me to shiver. "Because quite on the contrary, I've missed you..." He adds, and I shut my eyes. “How sad. I didn’t miss you." I lie, trying to break free from his grip, but his hold on me tightens. “You didn’t?" He purrs into my ear, brushing his lips against my earlobe before catching it between his teeth. I gasp as I involuntarily grip his shoulders. He chuckles, “Let’s see how much you didn’t miss me." He breathes, and I gulp. His fingers ignite sparks as they travel up my thighs, and I shut my eyes as I bite my lip to stifle a moan. I should stop him. I should shove him away and stand my ground. Send him away for what he’s done… But I can’t. “You’re soaking wet, Mirelah…" He says in a sultry whisper that sets my desires racing. Second Chance With You

Grief leaves no room for instructions. It comes, uninvited, and settles like fog—thick, persistent, and blinding. For Daniel Lewis, CEO of a billion-Leones tech empire and head of one of the country’s most influential families, the world never stopped moving after his wife’s death, but his did. He buried the pain beneath polished suits and endless meetings, pouring all that was left of him into the only person that still tied him to her, their daughter, Betty. Betty was once a bright, talkative girl with a laugh that could melt a room. But the accident that claimed her mother’s life also stole her voice. Five years later, she hadn’t spoken a single word. Specialist after specialist had failed to reach her, and her silence became a fortress no one could breach. Until Esther walked in. She wasn’t a licensed expert. Not yet. Just a 21-year-old child psychology student with soft eyes, a quiet determination, and a heart bigger than her experience. Hired as a live-in governess and emotional support tutor, Esther’s job was simple: help Betty speak again, help her live again. But no one warned her that in healing the child, she might touch the man as well. Daniel didn’t expect to feel anything. Not for a woman so much younger. Not for anyone ever again. And yet, in the quiet moments, between shared books, unspoken smiles, and late-night tea in the garden, something began to bloom, tender, impossible, real. This is a story about healing. About love rediscovered. About a man haunted by his past. A girl chasing her dreams. And a child who, through them, finds her voice again. Sometimes, the second time around… love writes a better ending.
