Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The New Life

In the heart of Eastsea City, nestled behind the walls of a humble orphanage, sat a young boy named Du Qianyao. At five years old, with his sixth birthday approaching in few months, he was a child of peculiar habits.

On this particular afternoon, as the sun cast shadows through the leaves of a tree, Qianyao sat beneath its shade. His small hands rested behind him, and his gaze was wandering on the sky above, lost in thought with a question he never found the answer.

"If I eat smoked chicken liver and drink beer later," he mused, "which liver would alcohol beat first?"

The question, nonsensical in the absolute sense.

Surrounds him, a group of children his age, played nearby, their laughter and shouts filling the air. Yet, Qianyao remained apart, a silent watcher of their joy rather than a participant.

The orphanage was a place of peace for him, a shelter where he put his mind to ease. Though he was not alone, he often felt a sense of solitude, a quiet understanding that his life was different from the others. He often reminiscing about his time on Earth as just a guy who has family, a caring mother, a serious but funny dad, a reliable sister, and a brat of a younger sister.

But sadly, the world is cruel to such happy family, he passed away because of sudden heart attack. He remember the crushing, squeezing, and burning pain in his chest, so tight he couldn't breath, so he just lie down and close his eyes feeling cold all over his body and his family hands on his face.

After he open them again, he found himself in the arms of a young woman who looks unbelievable big holding him close. After a confusing and bamboozle sight left him question his whether this was hallucination.

He find that his body shrink down to being a toddler, and worse of all.

'NOOOOOO, I FORGOT TO DELETE MY SEARCH HISTORY'

The Poor bastard' Search History was seen by both his father and sister who lost their trust in him.

As the days go on, under the care of Elder Ning and Miss Yue, the Caretaker, of the orphanage, he grows him safely and healthy life.

"That sum up my life since coming here..."

"Qianyao," a warm and soft voice of Miss Yue called him, "It dinner time. You are making everyone waits."

He nodded, rising from his spot beneath the tree. As he followed Miss Yue to the dining room.

The evening sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over Eastsea City. Inside the orphanage, the aroma of a beef stew and dumpling filled the air. Du Qianyao sat among the older children, his bowl of rice empty as he observed the lively scene around him.

The other children chattered excitedly, sharing stories and laughing at each other's antics. One throw rice at others but reprimand by Aunt Guan the Chef of Orphanage, while others engaged in friendly debates. But Du Qianyao just continue snacking on his dumpling, his mind elsewhere.

"Man, why do those guys get so annoyed by kids playing around like this?" he mused in his head. "It's not like they want you to watch them. Well, retardium is a contagious disease, I guess."

As the dinner ends, Miss Yue, the caretaker, led the children to their rooms and tucked them into bed. Du Qianyao lay on his cot, staring at the ceiling.

"Still can't sleep, even though I'm a kid now," he said to himself. "Neet life be damned. Well, I looked so miserable back then. Fortune now I got some beautysome face here, 9 out of 11."

He paused, then sighed. "Meh, no good being a narcissist now. What should I do after awakening my martial soul instead of just lifting some gallons and doing basic exercises?"

He scratched his head and furrowed his brows, then shrugged.

"That problem will be solved in future me' hands. Time to force sedate my brain for some energy in the morning."

With that, he closed his eyes, relaxed his body from head to toe, and took a slow, deep breath. He imagined himself sitting on a beach, sipping a coconut shake.

Five months slipped away in the blink of an eye. Now, Du Qianyao stood before the orphanage director's office. The day he long expects had arrived.
