Chapter 43 - Interrogation

Daki's fury turned to despair. Her belts, her pride, her power—all were useless against Gojo Satoru's invisible barrier. She tried to attack again, but space itself refused to yield. Panic seized her, an emotion the Upper Moon Six rarely experienced.

"Who are you?! What are you?! You're not a Demon Slayer! You can't be real!" hissed Daki, her eyes bloodshot.

"I may not be real to your limited eyes," replied Gojo in a calm voice, but one that carried immense weight. "But I am very real. Now, let's make this easy. I have a few questions. Answer, and maybe... just maybe, your end will be less painful."

Daki, despite her terror, clung to her pride. "Never! I will never tell anything to a... a parasite like you! I am a Upper Moon!"

"What a pity," Gojo sighed, as if disappointed. "It looks like we'll have to do this the hard way."

With a subtle movement of his hand, Gojo extended his Infinity. Not to annihilate, but to manipulate. Daki's mind was flooded with an overwhelming sense of insignificance, an infinite pressure that reduced her to a state of pure terror. It wasn't genjutsu; it was reality itself bending her will.

"Muzan Kibutsuji?" Gojo asked. "Tell me about him. How does he create demons? And why is his energy so... peculiar?"

Daki moaned, her body shaking uncontrollably, the information flowed from her mind, not because she wanted it to, but because her will had been completely suppressed.

Gojo absorbed the details: Muzan had existed for millennia, the first demon, capable of creating others by transferring his blood. His ability to shapeshift and his constant paranoia were key. But what interested Gojo most was the mention of a "primordial" energy that Muzan sought, one that would allow him to conquer the sun and become truly immortal.

A primordial energy... an anomaly, Gojo thought. So Muzan isn't just a demon, he's a catalyst. He's extracting something from this universe, or another, and converting it into demonic energy for his own existence.

Just as Gojo had extracted all the useful information, a gust of wind hit him.

The ground cracked, and a thin, lanky male figure with scars all over his body emerged from Daki's back, a bloody sickle in each hand. It was Gyutaro, the true holder of the title of Upper Moon Six and Daki's older brother.

"Daki! You useless little bitch! How dare you be so weak?!" Gyutaro growled, his voice harsh and full of hatred, as he protected his sister. His eyes, the same kanji as "Upper Moon Six," shone with an intensity far greater than Daki's.

"So you're the worm who's been bothering her!"

Gojo smiled. Finally. The real Upper Moon.

"Ah, so here's the real Moon Six," Gojo said, his tone becoming more cheerful again. "I thought it was just Daki causing trouble with her... messy aura. It seems you're the real mastermind behind the infiltration operation. Interesting."

Gyutaro launched a frenzied attack with his blood sickles. His Demon Blood Art, the manipulation of blood into poisonous sickles, was fast and deadly. But, like Daki, his attacks were stopped by Gojo's Infinity.

"What...? How...?" Gyutaro growled, his hatred boiling. He felt the same frustration as Daki. This being was incomprehensible.

"Your poison is very striking, but it doesn't affect me," Gojo shrugged. "And your hatred... well, it's not enough."

Meanwhile, deep within the Pleasure District, Tengen Uzui, the Sound Pillar, along with Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, finally arrived at the scene of the confrontation. The demonic aura was overwhelming, and Gojo's presence felt like a beacon of indescribable power.

"Damn it!" exclaimed Tengen, his eyes shining with determination. "This is Upper Moon Six! And there's another one! Two demons!"

Tanjiro saw Gojo Satoru standing, unflinching, in front of Gyutaro and Daki, as if he were about to have a casual conversation rather than a battle to the death.

"Gojo-san!" Tanjiro shouted, his sword at the ready.

Gojo glanced over his shoulder. "Ah, you guys are just in time to see the show. This is going to get interesting."

Gyutaro lunged again, this time with blinding fury, his body twisting with the total release of his power. The Upper Moon Six, the demon who had terrorized the Pleasure District for years, was about to face a power beyond his comprehension. And Gojo Satoru was ready to enjoy the fight, and learn what this demon could teach him about the "anomaly."
