Before the vampire could get to her another shadow appeared from behind and punched him right across the face that gave her the opportunity to run for her life before she would die in the forest, she didn't know they were creatures in the forest, she started regretting ever going in.
" What are you doing Rowan?" the vampire questioned after receiving the hard punch on the cheek.
"Since when did you have the right to question me," his blue eyes turned red in anger and with a Swift, the gentle breeze turned hostile with the way he move fast compared to the other vampire.
He landed series of punch on the vampire face with the vampire hitting several trees with loud thuds, the two vampires bring out their bare fangs with red eyes, the vampire punched the air severally and Rowan beat the hell out of the vampire, the gore scenario didn't take too long as Rowan got tired of playing and ina second he held the vampire by the neck lifting him above the ground.
"Go find your own prey you selfish vampire," the vampire said trying to get the strong vampire hand out of his neck, as he struggles in pain.
"She is my prey," his bright red eyes fluctuate in the dark and the moonlight glistening on the surface of the trees as dark shadows perforated on the ground, the thick trees restraining the moonlight, making some parts of the forest dark and some part with shades of light.
He hands clutching the vampires neck really hard and he snapped the head off, revealing the blood oozing out from the neck.
He then turned to the direction of where the girl ran to and went to her.
Harper sat on the ground under the shade of a tree, that part of the forest was really dark and foggy, the wind was now hostile making her unable to breath in fresh air, she inhaled and exhaled loudly with her mouth after feeling her nose got tired.
She then looked up to see a silhouette appear before her, she tried to run again but her legs was too weak making her stumble across a wood and she fell with a injury, leaving a severe mark on her ankle and she winced softly holding her leg, with blood oozing out.
She looked straight ahead and saw it was gone she turned a got frightened after seeing it was behind her. "Please don't hurt me," she pleaded with tears dropping from her eyes because of the sharp pain and the creature.
Rowan crouched down using his hand to push the wood and he took the handkerchief that was in his coat pocket.
He raised her leg to see the blood, the scent got to his nose and he inhaled it and noticed it scented good unlike every other humans her blood smell looked different.
She stared at the person with trembling hands and continued to whisper to him enough for him to hear it loudly because of the sharp ears he have, "please am begging you," she uttered.
Tears dripping from her eyes and sweats on her forehead and she felt a soft and cold touch on her ankle and she felt it to be like a kind of small piece of cloth.
She sat up and she perceived his familiar cologne and she realized it was Rowan "Rowan?" She asked with a look of amazement.
"Keep quiet and let me." he said and wiped off the blood from the ankle and stood up stretching his hand for her to take.
Since she was in pain and can't stand up by her self she placed her palm on his palm and he dragged her with ease making her to stand on her feet uncomfortably because of the pain on the ankle.
"What are you doing here, do you want to get expelled?" She asked him.
"I'm a final year student and you're a freshman, I should be the one asking you that," he said coldly.
"I'm so sorry but I have to keep searching," she said withdrawing her hand from his an leaped. "I didn't know they were creatures in here, how fascinating that this forest get intriguing ever passing seconds," she revealed.
"What are you searching for? Do you have any business with the forest," his calm voice turning hoarse because of the annoying girl, he was quick to anger.
"I wanted to see what the school is hiding in this forest, don't worry about me you should go,x she said coldly and she noticed he walked up to her.
"What a stubborn human aren't you," he remarked walking up to her and holding her neck with his hand pushing her to a tree with its rough bark.
"Let go of me this minute or I won't spare you," she threatened that didn't made him flinch, "what have I gotten myself into making lot of enemies in just two days?" She thought struggling to get his hand that was clutching her neck.
She then noticed his eyes turned dimmed out red and blue once, this make her got scared and gave him a questioning look, "what are you?"
He then realized she has saw his eyes turning red and wanted to kill her tightening his grip on her neck making her unable to breath, his nails pierced through her neck and she winced on pain.
Then he shove the thought of wanting to use the human for his purpose but something interesting was in this particular human but he couldn't point his his fingers at them.
"Forget everything you saw and think you were in your dorm," thinking it would work he got let go of her neck to make her fall on the ground drawing in loud gasps, holding her neck to breath in and breath out the breath she didn't take in when he was gripping her neck.
"You are a f***ing psychopath you monster," she said crying softly. "So you were the guy behind me Martinez that day he brainwashed me and my friend but unfortunately it didn't work for me, I didn't know they were hypnotist in this school," she said softly still gasping air.
This made Rowan head snapped after remembering the scenario, he bent down to her level and asked " so you can't be hypnotized?" He questioned wanting to play along.
" I don't know until you tried to brainwash me just now you psychopath," she cursed out.
"So she can't be compelled, it's only humans who uses silver water or add silver dust to their foods that can't be compelled," he wondered his hollow gaze fixated on her that pierced through her. He wouldn't think about her being a creature because she was perfectly human and he doubt she used all those things.
He gripped her neck again and told her " if you don't want to die don't dare to tell anyone what you just told me got that?" He warned and she nodded.
If only she has the power right now she would have hit him with a giant stone but she wasn't a murderer neither does she have the power to do any of that and he let go of her neck. Right now she hated him right now and stared at the guy who looked gentle in everyone eyes including her now appearing hostile in her eyes.
"If I can just end you Rowan Maverick," she said staring at him in malevolence.
And he noticed how her face and knew she hated him right now "you can't kill me don't think about that , I'm the one allowed to kill you," he said with a mischievous smirk on his gentle face.
