The hotel suite felt too small now. The heavy silence, thick with unspoken tension, wrapped around Jiho like a suffocating cloud. Zoey was sitting casually on the couch, sipping from a glass of water as if nothing was wrong, but Jiho could feel the crackling energy in the air.
She had made him lie beside her on the bed for a while — forced him to stay close, her fingers absentmindedly tracing circles on his skin. He should've felt comforted, but instead, his mind was racing.
What happens next?
But now, there was a knock at the door. And Zoey's smile turned darker.
Jiho's heart skipped a beat.
Zoey glanced at him, a wicked gleam in her eye.
"Stay here," she ordered, voice low and commanding. "And keep quiet."
He didn't even have time to respond before she was already up and walking to the door.
When Zoey opened it, Jiho's eyes went wide.
Standing in the doorway was none other than Yura, looking even more stunning in person. The way she stood — confident, poised, every inch of her an Alpha — made Jiho's heart race.
But Zoey's expression? It was a mix of amusement and something darker.
"I didn't expect you," Zoey said smoothly, her tone deceptively calm.
Yura's eyes flicked over Zoey with a cold smile. "I figured I'd find you here, Zoey. You've been busy."
Jiho felt a jolt of panic shoot through him. He quickly looked away, unable to keep his eyes on either of the Alphas for too long.
Yura stepped into the room, her gaze fixed on Jiho for a moment — and then, slowly, she turned to Zoey.
"I think we need to have a little talk," Yura said. "About Jiho."
Zoey laughed softly, walking toward Jiho and pulling him closer, almost possessively.
"You're a little too late for that," Zoey replied, her voice laced with an edge. "He's already mine."
Yura's lips twitched into a knowing smile. "Is that so?"
The tension between them crackled, an electric storm building by the second.
Jiho had never felt so small in his life.
Yura moved with feline grace toward him, one hand reaching out to touch his cheek, tilting his face toward hers. "I don't know, Jiho," she murmured, her voice almost too sweet. "Do you really want to belong to someone like her? Or do you want something more... exciting?"
Zoey stepped forward, immediately blocking Yura's path, her eyes narrowing.
"Watch yourself, Yura," Zoey said, her voice ice-cold. "He's not a toy for you to play with. You may think you can manipulate him, but you can't control him the way I do."
Yura smirked, unfazed by Zoey's words. "Is that so? We'll see."
The two Alphas stood inches apart now, their presence overwhelming, their power like an invisible force tugging at the room.
Jiho stood there, frozen, feeling the storm brewing between the two of them.
Yura's gaze flicked back to him. She didn't touch him, didn't get any closer, but her voice was low and seductive.
"You're a smart one, Jiho," she said. "You'll understand one day. Maybe it'll be too late by then, but you'll understand."
Zoey stepped between them again, wrapping her arm possessively around Jiho's waist.
"You'll get nowhere with him," Zoey said coldly, her fingers digging into his side. "He's mine, Yura. I'm not letting you have him."
Yura raised an eyebrow, clearly amused.
"We'll see," she said, her eyes flashing dangerously as she turned to leave. But before she stepped out the door, she glanced back one last time.
"You can't keep him forever, Zoey," she warned. "He'll grow tired of your control. All men do."
Zoey didn't respond right away, just watching Yura leave with a steely gaze. When the door clicked shut, she turned to Jiho, her grip tightening around him.
"You're mine, Jiho," Zoey said again, this time with more force. "Don't forget that. Don't even think about what she said."
Jiho opened his mouth to respond, but the words died on his lips.
He had no idea what to say. He was trapped between two Alphas, two powerful women who wanted him, each in their own way.
And he didn't know how to fight it — or if he even wanted to.
Zoey pulled him closer, her lips brushing his ear as she whispered softly:
"You belong to me now, Jiho. Don't you forget that."
