Next in Konoha – 5:00 AM:
As the first hints of sunlight stretched across Konoha, Shin stood by the window, taking in the gentle morning. The sky was a soft orange, not yet bright, and the village still hushed in slumber. A cool breeze drifted through the air, brushing against his face with a calming touch. Birds chirped in the distance, their songs light and soothing. For a brief moment, Shin felt peace—a rare, quiet stillness before the chaos of the shinobi world resumed.
After having his quiet moment, Shin left his room and came across his uncle's bedroom. He opened the door quietly, but it was of no use as his uncle Kazuma was not in his room.
"Ninjas do wake up early, huh…" Shin thought.
Seeing his uncle's room, Shin recalled yesterday's conversation they had about his training plan.
---
Yesterday:
"So, what's the plan?" Kazuma asked Shin about his training plan.
Shin, in his head, analyzed the best possible strat to begin.
"Guess I'm now a novel's MC, huh…" Shin internally sighed and replied to his uncle.
"I plan to avoid ninjutsu and genjutsu training for now, as I have so little chakra reserves and no control whatsoever. That leaves me with my body and chakra control. What do you think?" Shin finished talking and looked at his uncle eagerly for his advice.
Kazuma nodded in agreement and scratched his moustache thoughtfully.
"Good, good! You do have some brain, I guess. A strong body and chakra control are the foundation of any ninja, so I'd say you're on the right track. But don't forget, you are an Uchiha. You should also focus on the awakening of our kekkei genkai—The Sharingan," Kazuma said.
Shin listened carefully to his uncle's words, but most of his attention was drawn by the last words his uncle spoke—Sharingan. One of the most broken abilities in all of Naruto, exclusive to the Uchiha clan. Only some Uchihas have the luck to unlock it in their lifetime.
But now his uncle was talking about training to unlock the Sharingan? In the original series, there was no such method for unlocking it, so what was his stupid uncle talking about?
Shin didn't hesitate and asked Kazuma, "Doesn't the Sharingan unlock only when a shinobi goes through strong emotions? …Now there's a training method?"
Kazuma simply smacked the back of his nephew's head and replied, "No, fool! There is no such method, but you shouldn't just leave it to chance and think emotions will take care of it. The Uchiha meditation technique prepares you for the Sharingan so that, when the moment arrives, you maximize it," Kazuma said and gave Shin the meditation manual.
Listening to Kazuma's explanation, Shin nodded and took the manual from his uncle.

Present:
Shin was standing in one of the Uchiha training grounds and doing some stretches to warm up his body, which was quite spacious to be honest.
"That's the perk of being in a clan, I guess," Shin thought.
Stamina... is the most important quality for any ninja in long battles or when gaining the upper hand while fighting multiple people.. stamina was also key to increase chakra.Shin wanted to increase his stamina. The best way to do it, you ask? Run.
Hence, Shin started running around the ground. He wanted to test his limits... After 3 hours, Shin stopped running. He had run 25 laps around the ground, close to 4 kilometers. Quite astonishing in his old world—but nothing special in the world of Naruto.
After his senseless running, Shin then started doing push-ups: 20 at a time, 3 sets a day. Then came pull-ups and sit-ups, which he also repeated for 3 sets.
After completing his morning workout, now exhausted, Shin reached home. He looked at the clock—7:30 AM.
"Today was a good start, I guess... hufff," Shin thought and went to shower.
After the shower, Shin ate some food and sat down to train his chakra control. He took a leaf out of his pocket and placed it on his forehead, trying to concentrate chakra near that spot. But as soon as he did, the leaf crumbled—the chakra was too much. Then Shin put in less chakra, but the leaf fell down.
"Damn, this is quite tricky, huh… If I put a little bit more, it crumbles. A little less, it falls down."
Now determined, Shin immersed himself in his training.
Shin kept training, and hours passed. By the time he opened his eyes, it was already evening. He decided to take a break from training. He didn't succeed in the leaf exercise, but he had moments of success—though it only lasted a few seconds.
Shin then took a break, did some chores, and sat down with the Uchiha meditation technique. Shin started reading the manual and finished it within 15 minutes. Honestly, the theory behind the technique was simple—allowing the flow of chakra through the body. Which sounds like a normal meditation technique, but here the chakra flow in the body should start from the head—more specifically, the eyes and brain.
"It makes sense," Shin thought. This method was quite convincing.
So Shin decided to give it a try and started meditating. At the start, his concentration was all over the place. But as time passed, he got the idea of the technique. He practiced it for an hour or two and decided to stop meditating for the day.
Shin took quite a leap today. He had stepped onto the path of a shinobi. There was no going back from this... but Shin wasn't scared. Quite the opposite—he was excited for the challenges ahead.
Shin then decided to take a walk in the village market. He wanted to explore the village and have some fun.
---
The Konoha night market buzzed with life as lanterns cast a warm glow over the cobbled streets. Stalls lined the paths, offering sizzling street food, colorful fabrics, and trinkets. Laughter echoed, children played, and aromas of grilled meat and sweet dango filled the air as Shin wandered, quietly observing everything.
Amidst the chaos, Shin spotted someone... someone with yellow hair.
Minato Namikaze. Yes, it was THE Minato Namikaze—the father of Naruto, the future Fourth Hokage!
Shin observed him from a distance. The Yellow Flash of the Leaf was just a child now, looking about the same age as Shin.
Which made Shin even happier. Not because he was the same age as Minato—but because of the time he now had in his hands to get strong.Shin observed the yellow head for a few minutes and went back to exploring.
Shin moved on and went to a barbecue restaurant, ate his fill, and took some food parcel for his wise uncle. As he made his way back home, his mind wandered to today's training. Though it was quite good, he knew that with time there would be more to train for.
On top of this upcoming list was chakra nature and taijutsu. Shin didn't want to learn any jutsu based on his chakra nature—not yet. But he couldn't help but thinking about it, as it would shape his future and fighting style. If given the opportunity, he wanted Lightning—simply because of the raw speed and strength. But he couldn't control these things, so he made a mental note to ask for a chakra paper from his uncle and put aside chakra nature for now.
Now came taijutsu—which he should probably train soon.
"Huh… So much to do…" With this thought, Shin reached home.

As Shin stepped into the house, the soft creak of the door broke the quiet of the night. He carried a warm box of barbecue, the savory aroma escaping into the air. His uncle, just returning from a late mission, looked surprised but smiled at the sight.
"Welcome home," Shin said with a calm grin, holding up the food.
Kazuma chuckled, the fatigue in his eyes easing. They sat together under the dim lights, sharing the simple meal in silence—a peaceful end to a long, strange day.
