Boundless Wind

Man, Woman, children, Elderly and even the sick and even infants are all inexplicably teleported to the bottom floor of a tower, separated in groups of 1000 each in a subfloor of their own. Two gas station workers Apollo and Clare are no exception as they find themselves in the ruins of a city with 998 other strangers, a forest just a hundred meters from the city entrance and monsters ready to tear into their flesh if they dare to step inside. As the two ascend the tower what will they gain but also lose? I'm writing for fun and only when i feel like it so don't expect consistent uploads.
