When I found myself outside walking in the streets on the lonely roads. I saw nothing but a few lights flickering on and off.
My body is on high alert, and the child in my arms is sleeping like a baby. But his face was flushed like a fever. I looked around for signs for a clinic or a doctor.
I was getting more worried by the second when I couldn't find any. There were more plain buildings in the dark, and they were all closed.
The wind howled, almost startling me. Then a cold shiver went through my spine like someone was watching me.
I turned around, looking wary. But I found no one watching me. The gaze was deep and fierce. When I kept looking a couple more times. I thought it was in my head from the result of paranoia.
I walked faster down the road, my feet getting colder by the second. It's bad enough I don't have any shoes. I was taken underneath the tunnels so quickly that I didn't have any time to get any shoes.
When I saw a building with a signboard. I could read them. And I knew that I had found what I was looking for.
My heart jumped like a baby bird. I was getting excited, and I went up the steps. I knocked on the door, and I saw a light on through the windows. I begged to myself.
Please open the door... Please... Please... Please...
When my fingers were becoming painful from knocking so hard, I heard a shout coming from the door. An old man's voice.
"What the hell? The hours aren't open till the morning."
The man complained in a low, gravelly voice. I waited with great anticipation.
Before the door could open, I was grabbed on the spot. I felt my eyes being blindfolded, and the child in my arms was taken out of my hold. I felt a great panic coursing through me, and I tried to scream on the spot.
But my mouth was covered, and a rough fabric covered my mouth, and I had no chance to scream. Before I knew it, my body felt heavy, and I felt super sleepy.
Darkness covered me.
My mind and heart were gripped with a terror, and I prayed for anyone to save me.
Later I woke up feeling completely groggy on the spot. My head aches like a bullet, and I felt completely tired until I heard a voice filled with smugness.
At first, I didn't recognize the voice, then my memories came back to me in full force. My heart beat so fast, like a drum, that nausea climbed my throat.
I opened my eyes with alarm, and I noticed the familiar vampire was looking at me with an evil, cold smile. It was the vampire who promised I would pay.
The one who looked at me with a dirty gaze.
When was he following me?
"Hello, darling. We are going to have so much fun."
His eyes screamed with glee and revenge. My heart raced with panic, and he sniffed the air like he smelled something delicious. "Your heart is racing. It's beautiful."
I felt dirty when I heard that. I wanted to claw his eyes out so he wouldn't look at me like that anymore. I moved my hands, but I felt something tugging on my wrists.
I looked down with alarm, and I realized with horror I was tied down to a bed. The soft bed under me was soft and warm, but it didn't bring any comfort to me. Instead, it made my headache worse.
I looked at the ugly vampire with a sharp glare. "You won't get away from this."
The vampire laughed with a haughty grin, and he smiled like he won the world. Won a secret game I don't know about. He walked towards him, and I tried to still my body so I wouldn't move.
If I show any fear, the vampire will use it against me. I need to come up with something to get the hell out of here!
I watch the vampire with a wary gaze. In the back of my mind, I remembered I had a dagger in my clothes. The vampire stopped by the bed, and his hands went to stroke my cheeks.
I resisted the urge to snap and bite his fingers off. The dark thought sent a dark pleasure through me when I thought about it.
I smiled and hid my insidious thoughts. The vampire was surprised by my seductive smile, and he looked at me with a lavish gaze.
His gaze was disgusting. It would be a good idea to pluck them out. And set them on fire.
He said with a smug grin, "I can tell you're a smart one; you know what to do."
I nodded my head like I was a timid thing, and I said in a low, scared voice. "Yes, release the ropes on me, and I promise to make you feel good."
He narrowed his eyes at me like I had something on my sleeves. It was foolish, but it's all I got. One thing I learned about vampires is that they are arrogant and full of themselves. I can use that to my advantage.
I said with a scared voice, "What? You're stronger and faster than me, and my wrist is hurting me. I can't do anything while being tied up. It's no fun that way."
The man contemplated with an arrogant face, and he nodded to himself. Lust burns in his gaze when he observes me.
I waited when he got closer, then he broke the ropes in half, and I was freed. My heart raced at what I'm about to do. I laid my hand on his chest with a loving caress.
He sat on the bed next to me, and he placed his hands around my waist, and I could feel the back of my throat turn into a lump.
I said closer to his ears, "You have pretty eyes."
In that moment when he's distracted by my beauty, my face, and the lies I told. I grabbed my dagger under my clothes and pulled it out!
