Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 – “Thoughts from the Other Side”

In a dim bedroom glowing with RGB lights and the soft hum of a triple-monitor setup, Twitch streamer Groomable sat in silence.

The chat on his screen was moving too fast to read, flooded with links, theories, and the occasional copy-paste paragraph that just screamed "HE SURVIVED THE HULK" in a dozen fonts.

Groomable adjusted his headset. "So wait—hold up. Y'all are telling me this kid streamed through… what? A fight?"

[real_edits]: WATCH THE HOTDOG CLIP.

[darthsnacc]: it's at 02:13:08, right after he says "yo I'm not fighting anyone" and IMMEDIATELY gets chased

He clicked the link.

The video loaded in potato quality for the first three seconds. Then—

Danny. Sprinting full-speed across Manhattan with a half-eaten hotdog in one hand, an explosion behind him, and pure panic in his eyes. The camera kept perfect framing like it was mounted to God's own gimbal.

"…No way," Groomable whispered.

He rewound. Watched it again. Slower.

Danny yelling: "WHY ARE YOU THROWING CARS, BRO?!"

A Hulk-adjacent figure lobbing a sedan.

The hotdog flying from Danny's hand in tragic 4K.

Groomable leaned back in his chair like he'd just been told dragons were real.

"Okay. This is either the best ARG I've ever seen," he said, "or that man is actually about to die for content."

The video opened with a high-energy intro, the kind that slaps you in the face with "yo what's up guys, it's your boy ElChapoClipz" before you even blink.

He was wearing sunglasses indoors and already yelling.

"So apparently there's this dude named Danny who's been streaming—get this—nonstop for like three weeks. In Marvel. Yeah. Like the Marvel. But no one knows how. And it's not VR. It's not fake. It's real footage. Like this man ran into Hulk with a hotdog. I am NOT making this up."

Cut to side-by-side clips:

Left screen – Danny reacting to being almost crushed.

Right screen – ElChapoClipz nearly choking on laughter.

"I watched this for twelve hours straight. He doesn't sleep. He doesn't log off. He just keeps… existing."

Jump cut.

Now it was Danny limping past a shawarma cart, muttering, "Chat, stop telling me to fight Spider-Man."

Clipz paused the video.

"…And somehow he's getting donations?"

Danny: "Y'all are sick."

Sound: Danny yelling, "This is NOT content!"

TikTok was a different beast. The trend had spawned its own meme ecosystem in under 48 hours.

One clip had people reenacting Danny's rooftop monologues. Another was a fan edit of his close-up motel confession with melancholic piano music and a quote overlayed: "I don't even know how I got here, man."

But the real chaos?

Tom Holland.

Front-facing camera. Hoodie. Laughing.

"Okay so—uh—people keep tagging me in this stream, right? And I swear to God, I am not Peter in this."

He waved his hands at the camera.

"That's not me! That's not a Marvel promo! I don't know who that guy is!"

Robert D. Jr. also posted.

Backyard. Sunglasses. Holding a coffee.

"I've gotten 200 emails this morning. People asking if I'm in some secret 'Tony Stark returns' series. Look—"

He held up his phone.

A paused frame of Danny awkwardly shouting at Tony Stark on a red carpet.

"That is not me. That is not Marvel. I mean—dude's got guts, I'll give him that."

He laughed, then looked off-camera. "Seriously though, if anyone figures out who's running this, let me know. I want the rights."

The comments were a storm of overthinkers, lore diggers, and conspiracy fans.

[daredevildaddy]: bro's stuck in a narrative bubble. none of the real events react to him. he's in a stream-safe pocket dimension or smth.

[420_timestoner]: he made eye contact with Tony tho???

[cereal_sins]: that Tony didn't recognize him. RDJ said he wasn't involved. What if that's actual MCU Tony?

[modestgod69]: what if he's FROM OUR WORLD?? like he fell in?? we're watching HIM watch THEM

Tony Stark didn't sleep often. Tonight was no different.

He stood in his lab with a paused frame of the stream hovering mid-air—Danny squinting into the void like he could see Tony right back.

Coffee in hand. Sleeves rolled. Jaw clenched just slightly.

"Jarvis."

"Yes, sir?"

"Pull up the last two hours. Same feed."

The room flickered as the footage rewound. Rooftop chips. Midtown wandering. Awkward run-in with security guards. One moment showed Danny dodging a cab in real-time while talking to no one, like a man filming a vlog for ghosts.

"What kind of tech is that?" Tony asked.

Jarvis replied instantly. "No external device. No visible aerial drone. The camera appears to be moving independently, but no shadows or sound. No power source. No known signal."

Tony stared.

"Is this pre-recorded?"

"No, sir. Live latency is under three seconds from multiple global IP routes."

"From where?"

Jarvis paused. "That's unclear. The signal origin triangulates from both New York and… outside standard dimensional parameters."

Tony didn't speak.

He simply scrubbed forward.

He stopped on Danny's motel room. The kid staring at the ceiling. Talking like he was alone. But not quite.

"And I can't turn it off."

Tony narrowed his eyes.

"Jarvis?"

"Yes, sir?"

"Track him."

"To what extent?"

Tony finished his coffee and set the cup down.

"I want to know where he wakes up. What he eats. Who he talks to. And how that camera moves."

Jarvis didn't ask why.

"Yes, sir."

"Is anyone gonna talk about the dude who's somehow streaming 24/7 from a pocket universe?? Because our analytics just spiked and no one onboarded him. What the hell is going on?"

Caption: "I made a 1-minute edit of Danny's fall arc. He hasn't even fallen yet."

The video was surprisingly emotional.

Clips of Danny laughing, running, sitting alone eating gas station sandwiches. Then the rooftop monologue. The quiet ones. The glances into the camera when he thought no one was watching.

Danny, Unaware

He was walking again. No real destination.

The street buzzed with energy. A food truck vented steam into the cold air. Somewhere, a pigeon dive-bombed a baby stroller.

Danny looked around like he half-expected to see a sign telling him what to do next.

Instead, someone honked.

He jumped, then muttered, "Y'all better not clip that."

And the camera kept following.
