It's been eight years since Derek left, and a lot has changed for the family. After Lila and Derek got divorced, Lila decided that she, Nick, and Gray will take on her original last name, making them Lila Kayama, Nick Kayama, and Gray Kayama. Nick received a lot of praise for his amazing Quirk sense he is able to copy and use any Quirk with no limits, and was also told that he could be an amazing hero who could wield multiple Quirks at once, though he never allowed all the praise to get to his head and has stayed very humble and modest, he was also able to copy a lot of different Quirks from others, like another kid named Tsubasa, who had a Wing Quirk, along with some others. Now we see a giant villain who is going on a rampage on the railways of Tatooin Station with a lot of citizens gathering around the scene to watch the heroes in action, in that crowed are the now 13 year old Nick Kayama, Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki.
Oh yeah. In this story Katsuki isn't a jerk or a bully, as he decides to try and keep his ego from all the praise he got since childhood in check, sense Nick doesn't let the praise he gets from others get to his head and sees praise as the result of hard work paying off, and motivation to keep getting better. So Katsuki tries to do the same, with help from Nick, Izuku, and Shoto. Though Katsuki does sometimes show the usual personality he does in the anime and manga, being anger issues, it's mostly just a "Tough Guy" act, and his way of showing he cares or sticking up for his friends. Also Shoto attends the same school as Nick, Izuku, and Katsuki.
Nick: "Yo, what the heck is going on here?"
Izuku: "Looks like a villain going on a rampage!"
Katsuki: "Seems like it."
Shoto: "Indeed."
Nick: (looks at a random citizen) "Hey, any idea what this punk is doing?"
Citizen: "Well, from what I heard, this guy stole some lady's purse, and is going on a rampage now."
This makes Nick, Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto to look at the rampaging villain with dumb founded looks.
Nick: "So this dude's just some petty thug?"
Katsuki: "Talk about pathetic."
The villain becomes increasingly nervous about his plight and hits a portal catenary, which begins to fall.
Nick: "Ah crap!"
Just then the Punching Hero: Death Arms shows up running and manages to use his immense strength to hold the structure.
Izuku: (going into fanboy mode) "Whoa! It's the Punching Hero: Death Arms!"
Punching Hero: Death Arms. His Quirk: Arm Strength. An Emitter-Type Quirk. Allows him to boost up the physical brawn in his arms. He is able to lift things that are so heavy, they could normally only be moved via industrial machinery.
Just then a hero dressed like a firefighter with fire hoses for hands uses water to create a barricade, keeping the citizens away from danger.
Izuku: "And Backdraft!"
Backdraft. His Quirk: Water Pump. A Mutant-Type Quirk, and a common water-based Quirk. Allows him to create water from the hose spigots that he has in place of hands. He has a great level of control over the water, shown when he was able to shape the water into a barricade rail with 'X' shaped warning symbols.
Katsuki: (looks at Nick) "He's going "Fanboy Mode" again."
Nick: "Let him be, Kacchan, he's just excited about seeing Pro Heroes in action."
Katsuki: "Yeah, I guess your right, Nick."
Then another hero who looks like his body is made of wood arrives and confronts the villain.
Nick: "Hey, isn't that Kamui Woods?"
Izuku: "Yeah, your right, Nick, that is him. The Wood Hero: Kamui Woods. He may be new but he's no slouch."
The Wood Hero: Kamui Woods. His Quirk: Arbor. A Transformation-Type Quirk. Allows him to enlarge and control his wooden body parts into strong tree branches. These branches are excellent for binding. Being made of wood, this Quirk is at a disadvantage against fire.
Izuku then takes out his notebook with information about a ton of different heroes, he then flips to the page about the Wood Hero. A citizen standing next to the trio notices Izuku.
Citizen: "Oh I get. You four are fans, right?"
Izuku: (embarrassingly chuckles) "Yeah, you got us there."
Nick, Katsuki, and Shoto: (thought) 'One of us being more of a fan then the other three.'
As soon as he sees Kamui Woods close to him, the Giant Villain attempts to smash him with his huge hand, but the hero dodges the attack with ease.
Giant Villain: (annoyed) "Okay Bark Face, you better stay back if you know what's good for ya!"
Kamui Woods: "Yeah, I don't think so."
The Wood Hero uses his Quirk to dodge a flurry of crushing attacks. Kamui Woods tries to rush the villain but is pushed back. After dodging another smash attempt by the villain, Kamui Woods runs up his arm and extends his wooden limb, grabbing his foe's wrist. The Giant Villain simply waves his hand to get rid of the hero, throwing him into the air. Thanks to his athletic agility, Kamui manages to stabilize and land smoothly.
Kamui Woods: "Okay. I think it's high time I finish this."
As he prepares his final attack, Kamui Woods tells the villain that he has violated several laws laws by using his powers during rush hour and robbery, resulting in bodily injury, thereby accusing him of being the incarnation of evil. Just before Kamui Woods can use his Lacquered Chain Prison attack, a giant female hero suddenly jumps in out of nowhere and strikes the Giant Villain with her attack, defeating him.
Giant Female Hero: "Canyon Cannon!!"
The giant female hero then turns around to the crowd with a smile.
Mt. Lady: "Hi, I'm Mt. Lady. Thought I'd make my debut today."
The Mountain Hero: Mt. Lady. Her Quirk: Gigantification. A Transformation-Type Quirk, and a common size alteration Quirk. Allows her to grow to a gigantic size. She cannot variate between her base-height and the gigantified height achieved via her Quirk, making her only able to be either her normal height of 162cm (5 feet 4 inches) or her enlarged height of 2,062cm (67 feet 8 inches) tall.
Just then a bunch of guys with cameras gathered around and start to take photos of Mt. Lady's butt.
Male Photographers: (taking photos of Mt. Lady's butt) "Money shot. Money shot. Money shot. Money shot."
Nick: (looks at the paparazzi with disgust) "What a bunch of filthy perverts."
Katsuki: "No kidding."
Izuku: (confused about what his childhood best friends are talking about) "What are you guys talking about?"
Nick: "Dude. They are LITTERALY taking photos of Mt. Lady's butt."
Kamui is totally stunned by the intervention.
Kamui Woods: "But… that was my moment."
Once the villain is arrested and taken into custody, Mt. Lady receives all the credit for defeating the evil-doer, while Kamui Woods remains in the background depressed after missing his moment to shine.
Kamui Woods: "That was my moment."
Back with the quartet.
Nick: "Yeah, I can't be the only one who sees that Mt. Lady just wanted to take all the credit and the spotlight, right?"
Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto: "No, it's not just you."
Nick: "Cool, just thought I'd check too be sure."
The quartet then walk over to the other heroes, being Death Arms, Backdraft, and a still depressed Kamui Woods.
Nick: "She definitely just wanted to take the credit from you guys. I'm sure you'll get them next time, Kamui Woods."
The heroes then look to see the young quartet standing in front of them.
Death Arms: "Yeah. Your not wrong about that, kid."
Backdraft: "You four fans?"
Nick: "You could say that. I'm Nick Kayama."
Izuku: "I'm Izuku Midoriya."
Katsuki: "The name's Katsuki Bakugo."
Shoto: "Shoto Todoroki."
Kamui Woods: "Well, it's nice to meet you four."
Izuku: "You know, Nick, it would probably be useful if you had Quirks like these guys."
Backdraft: "What do you mean?"
Nick: "Well you see, my Quirk is called Replicate, it allows me to copy the Quirks of others without limits."
This caught the three Pro Heroes, and Mt. Lady who just walked into the conversation out of curiosity, by surprised.
Death Arms: "Say, are you four planning on becoming Heroes?'
Nick: "Yeah. Actually the four of us are planning on going to U.A. High School."
Kamui Woods: "U.A. huh?"
Katsuki: "Well, me and Izuku are going to take the entrance exam. Nick and Shoto here is going to be recommendation students."
Nick: "Well, we still have to take an entrance exam like you guys."
Shoto: "Indeed, it will just be a different exam then the one that you two will be taking."
Backdraft: "Really? Who's recommending you two?"
Nick: "Well, for me, it's my aunt and three friends of the family."
Mt. Lady: "And, who might your aunt be handsome~?"
This makes the young quartet and male Pro Heroes cringe at Mt. Lady trying to flirt with a 13 year old.
Nick: "It's Midnight."
This catches the Pro Heroes by surprise.
Death Arms: "Your Midnight's nephew?"
Nick: (nods in embarrassment) "Yeah. She's my mom's older sister. And the other three who are recommending me to U.A. as well are Ryukyu, Mirko, and Eraser Head."
Shoto: "And for me, it's my father, Endeavor."
This also catches the Pro Heroes by surprise by how their talking to both Midnight's nephew, AND the second ranked Hero in Japan, Endeavor's, son.
Kamui Woods: (offers Nick a handshake) "Well kid, you seem to have a lot of potential in you. Here, how about you copy my Quirk."
This surprises the quartet.
Nick: "Wait, are you serious?"
Kamui Woods: (nods) "Yeah kid, I don't mind."
Death Arms: (offers Nick a handshake as well) "You can copy mine too."
Backdraft: (also offers a handshake to Nick) "Mine as well."
Mt. Lady: (does the same as the other Pro Heroes) "I wouldn't mind if you'd like to copy my Quirk as well handsome~"
Despite the total cringe storm from Mt. Lady's flirting, Nick accepts the offers and shakes hands with the four Pro Heroes and copies their respective Quirks. Then the teen quartet decide to get going, waving goodbye to the Heroes, who are waving back.
Backdraft: "They seem like good kids."
Kamui Woods: "Agreed. Plus that Nick Kayama kid definitely has potential to become a great Hero one day."
Death Arms: (looks at Mt. Lady) "Did you seriously try to hit on a teenager?"
Mt. Lady: "What? He was cute. Plus, I bet he loved the fact he got to shake hands with me~"
Kamui Woods, Death Arms, and Backdraft: (thought) 'Total Cringe!'
Time skip
We now see the four in class at Aldera Junior High School, when the teacher comes in with a small stack of papers in his left hand.
Teacher: "All right, class. Now normally I would be handing out the printouts on your desired life course but…(tosses the pages into the air) I already know you all want to be Heroes!"
The class then goes into an uproar with all the students, minus Nick, Izuku, Katsuki, Shoto, another boy, and four girls, starting to use their Quirks.
Teacher: "Now now students, you all know the rules. No using your Quirks during school hours."
This makes the students stop using their powers.
Teacher: "Now I know you all have amazing Quirks and some of you will be amazing Heroes."
Katsuki: "Teacher, it would be nice if you didn't compare me, Nick, Deku, and Shoto with these extras. You all know the four of us are going to U.A. High, and become the greatest Heroes in the world."
This catches the attention of the entire class, who all know that the four are planning on going to U.A. High, which is the number 1 hero school in Japan. They all also know about Nick being the nephew of the Pro Hero: Midnight, who is recommending him along with Ryukyu, Mirko, and Eraser Head, who are friends of Nick's family, and Shoto being the son of the second ranked hero in Japan: Endeavor, who is recommending him. Everyone then start whispering to each other as they know the four of them will be amazing Heroes.
???: "Yeah, right! If any one is going to U.A. High and become the greatest Hero in the world, it's Big Sister!"
This makes everyone look at the person who said that to see a girl with tawny hair tied into two wavy pigtails; the rest of her hair is left to hang as two rows of fringes divided in the middle. Her pigtails are tied in place by a red bow each. Her hair is naturally wavy and as such needs to get a straight perm for it.
Kuroko Shirai. Her Quirk: Teleport. An Emitter-Type Quirk. It allows her to teleport herself and anything or anyone she touches a certain distance in the blink of an eye. Her power does have limits, being able to transport a total weight of 130.7 kilograms, and only to a distance of 81.5 meters from herself, if she is only teleporting anything or anyone other then herself.
???: "Kuroko, that's enough. Nick, Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki do have what it takes to become Heroes."
The class then looks at a girl with chestnut hair and is wearing a small hair clip shaped like two little flowers.
Mikoto Misaka. Her Quirk: Railgun. An Emitter-Type Quirk. Mikoto is capable of generating and manipulating electricity, as well as phenomena connected to electricity, including electromagnetism, Lorentz force, and more. Besides simply discharging electricity, she can use magnetism to move objects made of or containing metal in her surroundings (including large amounts of iron sand), easily hack electronic devices and networks, sense and emit electromagnetic waves (utilizing them for a personal radar), and even call down lightning and thunderclouds, as well as firing metal objects at supersonic speeds using Lorentz force (the Railgun that is the source of her epithet and ability name), among other things.
Kuroko: "But Big Sis, those four would make terrible Heroes. Bakugo has anger issues and only knows how to blow stuff up. Midoriya only has a common fire-based Quirk, and mumbles when he's thinking. And Kayama is autistic and can only copy other peoples' Quirks, so he can't be a Hero. I guess Todoroki could make an ok Hero, but still."
This makes everyone in the class upset by Kuroko's words, especially about Nick's autism, seeing as Nick is such a nice person who always helps other. From helping his fellow students, helping teachers carry stuff, helping lost children find their parents, helping senior citizens, protecting people with Mutant-Type Quirks from prejudice, since he hates prejudice, and other stuff.
Mikoto: "Kuroko! That is not okay, Nick and his friends will make amazing Heroes!" (thought) 'Besides, the only reason I wanna go to U.A. High is so I can be closer to Nick.'
???: "I agree."
???2: "Me too."
This time it was two girls spoke up. One being a small girl who sports short black hair and has golden-brown eyes. She has thick eyebrows but her most striking feature is her headband made out of artificial flowers.
Kazari Uihara. Her Quirk: Thermal Hand. An Emitter-Type Quirk. Allows her to keep objects she touches at their current temperature. To do this, she must be aware of herself wrapping her hands around the object(s). Additionally, she cannot use her power on anything larger than a basketball. She is not immune to the effects of the object's temperature, so she cannot do this with very hot or very cold objects.
The other being a girl with blue eyes and long black hair with a small, white flower on the left side of her hair.
Ruiko Saten. Her Quirk: Aero Hand. An Emitter-Type Quirk, and a common wind-based Quirk. Allows her to propel objects using ejection points of air, though, she can currently only move small leaves in the palm of her hands.
Kuroko: (fails to understand why her crush and everyone else are defending the four boys) "A punk with anger issues and can cause mass destruction to private property, a fan boy with a common and widespread Quirk, a copycat with autism, and a rich boy who gets whatever he wants. Face facts Big Sis, these four won't get anywhere."
Yeah, Kuroko and Mikoto are not really sisters. Kuroko is actually in love with Mikoto and calls her "Big Sister".
Katsuki: (angry about Kuroko insulting his childhood best friends) "Hey! Did you forget how Nick defeated Misaka in a fight a year ago?!"
A flashback shows how one year ago, Mikoto challenged Nick to a fight on school grounds after hearing that he has an extremely rare and powerful Quirk, with Nick managing to defeat Mikoto by trapping her in ice using Half-Cold Half-Hot. This earned Nick, Mikoto's respect and, after learning that he can copy other peoples' Quirks, she let him copy her Railgun Quirk, with Mikoto also having Kuroko let Nick copy her Quirk as well, with Kazari (who has had a crush on Nick ever since childhood when he protected her from bullies), and Ruiko, also letting Nick copy their Quirks as well. But nobody knows that Nick won more then just Mikoto's respect, as she also developed a small crush on the boy, but she keeps it a secret from everyone.
Back in the present.
Teacher: "That's enough. Shirai, I'll be seeing you for detention after school about your attitude. Especially towards Nick's autism."
This makes Kuroko shocked and upset.
Kuroko: "What?! Big Sis, save me!"
Mikoto: (mad about her best friend insulting her secret crush for having autism) "You brought this on yourself, Kuroko."
Kazari (also upset about her secret childhood crush being insulted) and Ruiko: (nod in agreement)
Kuroko ends up shocked that her best friend and crush, and other friends refuse to help her.
???: "Well, they obviously have better chances at being anything then me."
This time the one who spoke was a boy who looks like an ordinary high school student except for his most striking feature, being his spiky black hair.
Touma Kamijou. His Quirk: Imagine Breaker. An Emitter-Type Quirk. He can negate the effects of other Quirks through his right hand. It also works on fire balls or even electric shock attacks, negating them once they make contact with his hand, however, it does not affect appendages originating from Mutant-Type Quirks, but it can impair their function as the Quirk Factor that incorporates all the mechanisms necessary for a Quirk to work properly will be temporarily nullified. Physical strength or abilities not derived from Quirks are unaffected. It's also a Variant Quirk, like Nick's Quirk, Replicate.
Nick: "Hey, come on Touma. You have an amazing Quirk."
Time passes by as school was quite slow today, the final bell rings with everyone leaves for home, except the quartet, who stayed behind, though Touma also stayed behind, as well as Kuroko, who was getting detention.
Nick: "So, guys. You want to hit the arcade and grab some pizza before heading home?"
Izuku: "Sure."
Katsuki: "You know I'm down for that."
Shoto: "Same goes for me."
Nick then notices Touma.
Nick: "Hey, Touma! The four of us are going to the arcade and grabbing a bite. You wanna come?"
Touma: "Sure, if you guys are ok with me coming along."
Izuku: "I'm okay with it."
Katsuki: "No problems here."
Shoto: "Same here."
Nick, Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto usually feel bad that Touma is somewhat of an outcast at school, due to others thinking that his Quirk is not a good one, and he also has serious bad luck, so they normally invite him to join them whenever they hang out. This makes them his only friends.
Nick: "OK guys, let's go!"
Izuku, Katsuki, Shoto, and Touma: "Yeah!"
Kuroko: (annoyed by the five boys, thought) 'What a noisy bunch.'
The five guys then head to the arcade where Touma is shown to be 100% terrible and having zero luck at any of the games, while Nick is showing to be doing amazing at the games, as he, once again, gets the high score at a dancing game. The five of them are now walking to get pizza as their talking about their hero names and which hero agency they each might intern at.
Nick: "So I think you should try interning at Endeavor's agency, Deku."
Izuku: "You might be right Nick, interning at Endeavor's could give me a chance to improve my Quirk."
Nick: "Shoto, aren't you planning to intern at your dad's agency."
Shoto: "Yes, I am indeed."
Katsuki: "I'm guessing your going to intern at your aunt's agency, right Nick?"
Nick: "I mean, maybe. To be honest, the only reason Aunt Nemuri wants me to intern at her agency is so she could spend more time with me."
Shoto: "The same can be said about my father."
Oh, another thing about this story is the Endeavor is like Midnight, where he wants to spend time with his family but has a hard time because of his work.
Katsuki: "But, doesn't your aunt live with you and your family, Nick?"
Nick: "Yeah, she does, but she thinks that she doesn't spend enough time with us due to her work leading to her mostly being out and only home when she gets a day off. What about you Kacchan? How about interning at Aunt Rumi's agency?"
Katsuki: "Honestly, I'm not sure which Hero agency I'd want to intern at."
Izuku: "You know, Nick, I'd bet a TON of Heroes would want to recruit you to join their agencies."
Katsuki: "He's right, Nick. Your a nice guy who always trying to help anyone and everyone, plus you have a crazy strong Quirk, and other Quirks at your disposal. I can't really see there NOT being a ton of heroes out there who'd want to recruit you to join their agencies."
Shoto: (nods in agreement) "They're right, you know."
Nick: "Hey, I'm not the only one here who has an amazing Quirk."
Izuku: (slightly saddened) "But all I have is a common and widespread fire-based Quirk."
Nick: "But it's still an amazing power. I mean, look at Endeavor, he has a fire-based Quirk as well, and he's the second ranked Hero in the country."
Katsuki: "Nick's right, you know."
Izuku: (smiles at his childhood best friends) "Thanks Nick, Kacchan, Shoto."
Touma: (slightly saddened about his four friends' futures) "You know, I'm really jealous of you four."
Nick, Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto all look at Touma.
Nick: "What do you mean, Touma?"
Touma: "Well, it's just that, you four are going to U.A. High School, which is the number one hero school in the country, and planning on becoming Heroes. I don't really have much going on for me like you guys do."
Nick: "Hey, don't say that about yourself Touma, your a nice guy, plus your Quirk, Imagine Breaker, is amazing too."
Touma: "All my Quirk can do is negate other Quirks."
Nick: "But it's also a Variant Quirk, like mine. And those are EXTREMELY rare. Hey I have an idea! How about you also try to get into U.A. High with us."
This catches Touma by surprise.
Touma: "You want me to go to U.A. High School with you guys?"
Nick: "Yeah. Why not?"
Izuku: "You would make a good Hero, seeing as you could use your Quirk to negate the Quirks of villains."
Katsuki: "They got a point."
Shoto: (nods in agreement)
Touma: "But how can someone with the power to negate other peoples' Quirks become a hero?"
Nick: "Um, don't you know about the Erasure Hero: Eraser Head? His Quirk let's him negate the Quirks of others too, and he's a Pro Hero."
Touma: "Yeah, I guess if you put it that way….Fine, you guys win, I'll try to take the entrance exam for U.A. High as well."
This makes the four happy that their friend is going to try and get into U.A. with them. But all of a sudden, a villain, who's body is made of sludge, ambushes the teens and takes them hostage. They try to break free, but are unable to do so.
Sludge Villain: "You five are coming with me!"
Nick: (thought) 'Crap! Deku, Kacchan, Shoto, and I can't use our Quirks because we might hurt each other and Touma!'
Nick does, however, manage to copy the Sludge Villain's Quirk using Replicate, and figures out that the Sludge Villain's Quirk transforms his body into a bulk of a mud-like substance. This fluid form makes him immune to physical attacks, and also gives him the ability to take over another person's body and use their Quirk against their will. his Quirk has a weakness wind pressure due to it breaking up his mud-like substance causing him to fall apart. Just then a large muscular man shows up and confronts the villain.
???: "Halt, Evil Doer!"
Sludge Villain: (sees the person who spoke, and get terrified at who he sees) "No. It can't be. Not him!"
???: "Texas….SMASH!!!"
The man then throws a punch that creates wind pressure blows the Sludge Villain away, saving the five now unconscious teens. But, just before passing out, Nick was able to get a vague view of the savior.
Nick: (thought) 'Is that…?'
Time Skip
Nick slowly starts to open his eyes and hears a faint voice.
???: "Hey….Kid….Wake up."
Nick: (groans) "What?"
Nick opens his eyes fully to see that is was his and his friends' savior. Who Nick quickly realized was none other then the number one hero in japan and the world's Symbol of Peace himself, with his signature smile.
Nick: "All Might?"
All Might: "Ah, good. You're awake. And you appear to be unharmed."
Nick: "What happened?"
All Might: "A villain made of sludge tried to take you and your friends captive, but luckily I happened to be passing by to see this, and put a stop to the vile villain's plans!"
Nick: "And, my friends?"
All Might: "They are also unharmed, but still unconscious."
Just then Katsuki and Shoto start to wake up.
Katsuki: (groaning) "What the heck happened?"
Nick: "You guys good Kacchan, Shoto?"
Katsuki: "I think so. (sees All Might next to Nick) Hey Nick? Isn't that All Might next to you?"
Nick: "Yup. It's him, All Right."
Shoto: "I don't think this is the time nor the place for jokes, Nick."
Nick: "Sorry."
All Might: "I actually thought it was quite funny, what you did there."
Nick: (slightly chuckles) "Thanks All Might. What about Deku and Touma?"
All Might then walks over to the still sleeping Izuku and lightly pats his hand on the teen's cheek rapidly.
All Might: (rapidly taps his hand on Izuku's cheek) "Hey! Wake up! Hey!"
Izuku: (starts to wake up and looks at the source of the voice) "Huh?"
All Might: (smiles and salutes at Izuku) "Thought we lost you there!"
Izuku immediately starts to freak out from seeing his idol being in front of him and backs up.
Izuku: (screams in shocked) "All Might?!"
Nick: (gets up and stands next to Katsuki and Shoto) "How come Deku flips out about seeing All Might, himself, in person, but the three of us didn't?"
Katsuki: (shrugs his shoulders) "Beats the heck out of me, bud."
Izuku: "Wait. Where's the villain?"
Nick, Katsuki, and Shoto look around to see that the Sludge Villain isn't anywhere to be seen.
Nick: "Yeah, good question. Where did the villain go?"
All Might: (stands up) "Worry not, boys. For I have managed to capture the vile evil doer!"
All Might then shows two two-liter soda bottles, with the Sludge Villain inside the bottles unconscious form All Might's Texas Smash.
Nick: "How the heck did he manage to get that guy in there?"
Katsuki: "Heck should I know?"
Izuku: "Ah man, this is so cool. Wait! Where's my notebook?! I got to get his autograph!"
Izuku then sees his notebook on the ground and grabs it.
Izuku: "Please sign my notebook!"
However when Izuku opens his notebook to the page about All Might, he sees that All Might's autograph already in it.
Izuku: (screams in shock and excitement) "He already did!!"
Nick, Katsuki, and Shoto: (give deadpan looks and slightly smile, at Izuku's reaction, thought) 'Oh, brother.'
Izuku then starts bowing to All Might rapidly in gratitude.
Izuku: "Thank you so much! This will be a family heirloom! A family treasure! Passed down for generations!"
All Might slides the bottle containing the Sludge Villain into his right back pocket and gives Izuku a thumbs up.
All Might: "Okay!"
Nick: "I'm sorry about him, All Might. He's just a very big fan of yours."
All Might: "No need for apologies, it was my pleasure. Now then, I'll be off to turn this villain over to the police. Take care."
All Might then super jumps away from the teens, but Nick suddenly uses a wing Quirk to follow the Symbol of Peace.
Nick: "Hey, wait! Hold on a minute!"
Katsuki, Izuku, and Shoto are now left behind with a sill unconscious Touma, looking at where their friend flew off at.
Katsuki: "So….What should we do now?"
Izuku: "No idea. Hey, why do you think Nick went after All Might like that all of a sudden?"
Katsuki: "Beats me. You guys want to just go get pizza as planned and wait for Nick to catch up later?"
Izuku: "Yeah, sure."
The two then grab the still unconscious Touma, and begin walking to the pizza place, with Shoto following from behind.
Meanwhile with All Might and Nick.
All Might is now just gliding through the air until a voice calls out to him from behind.
Nick: "Excuse me, All Might?!"
All Might then looks behind him to see Nick following him with a pair of wings on his back.
All Might: "Ah, it's you again. Is there something you need of me, my boy?"
Nick: "Yeah. There's something I was hoping to ask you about. I guess I was hoping you could give me some advice on something?"
All Might: "Of course. But let us land first shall we?"
Nick: "Sure. And it won't take too much of your time, I promise."
All Might: "Very well then."
The two then wait for them to land. As this was happening All Might then suddenly coughed, with Nick seeing some blood dripping from All Might's mouth.
All Might: (covers his mouth to hide the blood, thought) 'Not good.'
Nick: (concerned) "Hey, are you ok, All Might?"
All Might: "Why of course. Why do you ask, my boy?"
Nick: "Well, it looks like blood is dripping from your mouth."
All Might: "It's nothing. No need to worry. But, thank you for your concern."
The two then manage to land on top of a building, and once they do, All Might then starts to release smoke from his body.
Nick: "Ok. So you see All Might, I wanted to ask you something really important and I thought you would be able to give me some advice about it. You see… I was wondering if it's possible for…"
Nick stops as he sees All Might turn into a lanky man, which surprises and confuses the teen.
Nick: "Um, All Might? Is that you?"
All Might: (sighs) "Yeah, it's still me kid. This is my true form. But I can assure you that I am still All Might-"
All Might then starts to leak a ton of blood from his mouth, shocking Nick.
Nick: "Holy crap, are you sure you're ok?! And um….What the heck? Why do you look so….deflated?"
All Might: "You know how guys at pools are always sucking in, and flexing, and trying to look buff? I'm like that."
Nick: "That's one way of explaining it, I guess, and how your able to avoid fans and the paparazzi so well."
All Might: "Yeah, it comes in handy to go out in public without being recognized by everyone. Don't get me wrong, I love my fans, but sometimes being famous can be a handful."
Nick: "I guess that makes sense."
All Might: "So, about your question?"
Nick: "Oh, right! Well, you see, I was wondering if it's possible for someone with autism like me to become a Hero."
All Might: "You're Autistic?"
Nick: (nods) "Yes sir. And you see, me and my friends from earlier are planning to go to U.A. High School, with me and Shoto being recommendation students."
All Might: (surprised) "So you and your friends are going to U.A. huh? That sure takes me back."
Nick: "Oh yeah, you graduated from U.A. High didn't you?"
All Might: "Yup, and those were some good times from my youth. So, who's recommending you, Kid?"
Nick: "Well you see, it's my aunt, Midnight, as well as, Ryukyu, Mirko, and Erasure Head."
All Might: "Oh. So your Midnight's nephew. So, why do you want to be a Hero?"
Nick: "Well you see, ever since I was young I always wanted to help people if ever needed, and I still do now. I stand up to bullies, protect those with Mutant-Type Quirks from prejudice, help lost children find their parents, help seniors carry heavy stuff, and other things. So, I want to become a Hero so I can help people more."
All Might could see that the boy was telling the truth and was a good kid, and that his reason for wanting to become a Hero is so he could help people.
All Might: "So, it's a sense of responsibility, huh?"
Nick: "Yes sir."
All Might: "If you don't mind me asking. What exactly is your Quirk?"
Nick: "Well you see, it's called Replicate, it's an Emitter-Type Quirk that lets me copy the Quirks of other people by touching the person. It's also a Variant Quirk."
All Might: "A Variant, huh? Those are extremely rare. And you say you can copy other Quirks? Any limits to that?"
Nick: "Not really. I can copy more then one hundred Quirks at the same time and don't have a time limit to how long each copied Quirk last. Also I don't suffer from any side effects from having multiple Quirks, and I can use multiple copied Quirks at the same time for a combo, plus once I copy a Quirk I instinctively know everything about that Quirk, from what it can do, how to use it properly and to the fullest, and the weaknesses and limits the copied Quirk has, I even know about other stuff about it that may not even seem important. Also, even if I hold Mutant-type Quirks, the subsequent features do not permanently manifest on my body, and I can summon the mutant features at will. And I can't use most Accumulation-Types depending on the what the Quirk needs to build up on to work and if I can even gather the required resource, and other Quirks that need a good understanding on something to use it may also be difficult to use, plus I sometimes can't use Quirks that may have a limit to when and where it can be used."
All Might: "Hmm, that does seem like a pretty good Quirk, and the limits it has do seem to make sense."
Nick: "Yeah, plus earlier today Death Arms, Kamui Woods, Backdraft, and Mt. Lady all allowed me to copy their Quirks sense they seem to see a lot of potential in me."
All Might: (thought) 'So even Heroes see so much potential in this kid that they let him copy their Quirks. This kid does seem to have good potential to become a Hero despite being autistic, and his Quirk is powerful. Perhaps, this kid could be the one I'm looking for?'
Nick: "So, yeah All Might, I want to know if it's actually possible for someone with autism and a Quirk that only let's him copy other Quirks to become a Hero."
All Might could see that this is something that has been bothering the young teen, and wants Japan's number one Hero's honest opinion.
All Might: "Well you know, being a hero is a very dangerous job. But, I think there are some Heroes out there with disabilities like you kid. There may be a Hero who's blind but has a Quirk that let's them be Heroes despite being blind, like echolocation, or something else. So to answer your question truthfully kid, yes, I believe that even someone with autism and a power copying Quirk can make a fine Hero. Plus, your reason for wanting to become a Hero seems to be a good one at that, so I do believe you can become a Hero despite being autistic and only being able to copy other peoples' Quirks."
This caught Nick by surprise sense he thought All Might would tell him that he can't be a hero. So this made Nick vary happy that even the number one Hero in Japan and the world's Symbol of Peace himself say that he can be a hero.
Nick: "Thank you very much, All Might."
Just then, Nick's phone goes off, when he looks at it he sees that it's a text from Katsuki with a picture of him, Izuku, Shoto, and Touma, who finally woke up, eating pizza.
Katsuki (text): "Hey. Where you at man? We went to get pizza without you. You better get over here now."
Nick: "Sorry All Might. I better get going."
All Might: "It's fine kid."
Nick then teleports to his friends and All Might grabs his phone. We later see All Might in his true form walking down the sidewalk when a police car pulls to the side revealing a detective who is also a good friend of All Might's.
Detective: "Hey there Toshinori, you called for me?"
All Might: "Hey Naomasa, yeah I got a new villain here for transferring."
All Might, who we now know by his real name as Toshinori Yagi, gives the detective, Naomasa, the soda bottle containing the Sludge Villain.
Toshinori: "I would have delivered him sooner, but a kid wanted some advice from me, about him becoming a Hero."
Naomasa: "Oh really? Well, what did you tell him?"
Toshinori: "I told him that he could become a fine Hero despite him having autism and his Quirk only letting him copy the Quirks of others. He seemed like a good kid, and he has a good heart too."
Naomasa: "Someone with autism and a power copying Quirk, huh? That's neat."
Toshinori: "Also, I think he might be the one I'm looking for."
This catches Naomasa by surprise.
Naomasa: "Really? He might be the one?"
Toshinori: "Yeah, I'm sure of it."
Naomasa nods and drives away. Later, we see Nick teleporting to his friends and he tells them about what he and All Might talked about, though he didn't tell them about him seeing All Might's true form as he thought it would be best to keep it a secret, and the four of them were glad that even All Might himself thinks that Nick can become a Hero despite being autistic and having a power copying Quirk. Later, the five of them all decide to head home as it was getting late. Once home, Nick told his family about what happened today and they were very shocked. we also see a now 30 year old Lila, and an 11 year old Gray.
Gray Kayama. His Quirk: Werewolf. He just inherits the Lunarfang family's Quirk, and he has the same abilities as his biological father does.
Gray: "So, you got to meet THE All Might in person?!"
Nick: "Yup, and he said that even I can become a Hero."
Lila: "Well that's nice to hear sweetie, though I am concerned about you getting attacked by a villain, I am glad to see that your fine."
Nick: "Is Aunt Nemuri still at work?"
Lila: "Yes, and she may be late to dinner."
Nick: "I can teleport over to her and bring her some dinner."
Lila: (smiles) "I think Nemuri would Like that."
Nick then takes some of the dinner and teleports over to the now 31 year old Nemuri, who was in her office at her agency. She was very happy about her nephew bringing her dinner, and Nick then teleports back home.
